Chapter 1406: Number One Terrible Friend Sandy
Gu ngng took up a cup of water as she said this, before purposely shaking as if she had Parkinson’s disease, spilling water everywhere.
Would Sandy not know she was just putting on a show? A giggle broke through her tears as she took over the cup from Gu ngng’s hands and placed it to the side. “I will let you off this ti. But only this once.”
Gu ngng leaned into Sandy’s arms and smiled sweetly. “Once is enough. I will never do such a foolish thing ever again.”
Sandy took a while to completely compose herself before saying, “Since Gregory likes you, plus he is powerful and can fly, are you going to consider accepting him as a partner?”
Gu ngng was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. She sat up with a jerk and shook her head vigorously. “No, no, no. I definitely don’t want to!”
Sandy asked, “Why not? Didn’t those two great lords of yours already agree to it? It’s been four years since you have accepted any new partners into your family. You are such an exceptional female—you should contribute to this Beast World and pass on your exceptional genes to the next generation? Just look at Hede and his brothers, how exceptional are they? Only three years old and each of them already outstanding in their own way. You should bear more children...”
Gu ngng held Sandy’s shoulder with two hands. “I have no problems with having more children. Elvis and Lea promised that I can have as many children as I want after I get the Love of the Sky.”
“But you have too few partners... even half-beast or crippled females have more than two.” Sandy fretted over Gu ngng’s lack of partners.
Gu ngng really felt like crying.
She had finally managed to comfort Elvis and Lea, but Sandy, this number one terrible friend of hers, insisted on reopening this can of worms...
Gu ngng shook her head with a bitter smile, yielding to her fate.
Since coming to the Beast World four years ago, Sandy was still the only true bosom friend she had.
She had a good relationship with the 16 valued females, but they held a blind adoration for her, making it impossible for them to exist on the sa level. As such, it was sotis rather awkward hanging out with them.
Only Sandy was different. Like what happened earlier, Sandy was the only person in the Beast World who would dare to scold Gu ngng to her face.
And only Sandy would sacrifice the lives of her entire family for Gu ngng, never hesitating to stand by her side.
Gu ngng sighed before answering in all seriousness. “I don’t like Gregory. I have no feelings for him. There’s no spark between us.”
Sandy glanced at Hodgson and the other six wolves before smiling. “Feelings can be cultivated. Just look at when I first accepted Hodgson and the rest as partners. I didn’t like them then and had no feelings for them. But after living with them this period, they have treated very well. They have been gentle and considerate, taking care of everything for . We get along very well. They have also beco important mbers of my family. Together with Bode, Collin and the rest, they are also my beloved partners. I don’t disdain them just because I didn’t have feelings for them in the first place. They also don’t bla for partnering with them even though I didn’t like them. In the Beast World, most families are like that. As long as the male is good enough, the female should give him a chance.”
Gu ngng shook her head. “I am not saying that Gregory is not good enough. But since partnering Elvis and Lea, I have already closed off my radar to the opposite sex. My heart is only so big and already holds Elvis and Lea. There is no more space to squeeze in a third male.
