Chapter 345: Chapter 332 Qi Yunla

“Of course not,” Wu Chang stopped yelling and turned his head in confusion, “Why are you suddenly asking this?”

“Just wondering,” Qiao Sang said.

She didn’t outright say that she always felt there was sothing odd about that Uncle Zhang.

Would a person really be so kind to another without any reason?

If she didn’t have a cellphone on her, shouldn’t she find the phone first and then contact the person?

Yet he had co directly to the cetery late at night to find soone. Was that normal?

Moreover, it was terrifyingly quiet here at night, without even the chirring of insects or the call of birds, any small noise would seem especially loud. From her current perspective, she should have a clear view of where she and Wu Chang were just now.

Logically, any footstep or noise made by Yaobao and Xiao Xunbao would imdiately attract attention.

But Uncle Zhang didn’t make a sound to greet Wu Chang; it was as if he hadn’t heard the noises here at all. Was that normal?

One question after another surfaced in Qiao Sang’s mind.

If one were to subscribe to conspiracy theories… Suppose Uncle Zhang was a Beast Tar who had noticed this Pet Beast that could bring good fortune?

Then getting close to Wu Chang and coming to the cetery late at night would start to make sense.

Qiao Sang didn’t voice her thoughts because, first, she felt this was just her personal sixth sense.

Second, if she shared her speculation without evidence, Wu Chang would definitely think sothing was seriously wrong with her.

One was an uncle who treated her like his own child, while the other was soone she had known for less than a day, just slightly better than a stranger; anyone would know who to side with.

Better to mind her own business—she was just here to see what kind of Pet Beast could bring good fortune and see if she could rub off so luck… With that thought, Qiao Sang said, “You continue yelling.”

Wu Chang, not suspecting anything, turned around and continued to call in a low voice, “Yun Yun! Yun Yun!”

This voice in the gloomy and silent cetery sounded like he was summoning spirits.

After calling out a couple of tis like that, Xiao Xunbao finally couldn’t help but float up in front of its own Beast Tar showing a puzzled expression.

“Xun Xun?”

If the human just now wasn’t a Beast Tar, then whose Pet Beast had been beside him?

F*ck… Qiao Sang felt a rush of adrenaline skyrocketing.

Even though the wind at night was cold as death, her back was sweating.

Honestly, she was a little scared.

Pet Beast?

There was a Pet Beast next to that uncle just now?!

How did she not see it?

A Spectral-type?!

“How big is that Pet Beast?” Qiao Sang swallowed and asked.

“Xun~”

Hearing its Beast Tar’s question, Xiao Xunbao thought for a mont, then floated up until it was about four ters off the ground and stopped. It then made an extra-large circle at this height.

It was about this big.

Qiao Sang: “!!!”

A Pet Beast of such size, it had to be at least General-level, right?

Qiao Sang shivered and felt the temperature around her seed to have dropped even more.

“Yun Yun! Yun Yun!” Wu Chang was still calling out as if summoning spirits.

Qiao Sang silently mounted Yaobao, who was now alertly looking around after hearing Xiao Xunbao’s description. She felt like going back…

A high-level Beast Tar with a hidden identity—he must have seen the extraordinary fortune on Wu Chang.

Having stayed in the small town for so long, she wouldn’t believe he didn’t have so sches.

It was better not to get involved.

“Um, if it’s not here, let’s try another ti. Anyway, I’ll be at the Beast Taming Center for a week; you can bring it to ,” Qiao Sang said with outward calmness.

“It must be here! It probably just doesn’t want to show up because there’s soone else here besides ,” Wu Chang said anxiously.

Qiao Sang asked, “Didn’t you tell it I’m here to treat its illness?”

Wu Chang fell silent for a while, then turned and called out in a low voice, “Yun Yun! Yun Yun! I’ve brought soone to heal you!”

Qiao Sang: “…”

“Yun Yun~” At this mont, a voice that clearly wasn’t Wu Chang’s rang out.

Qiao Sang was startled and looked straight ahead.

Because she realized that the voice was actually coming from right in front of Yaobao’s head!

“Ya!”

Yaobao’s fur bristled in an instant as it lifted its paw, and energy surged within its body, suddenly converging into a blazing fla upon its raised right paw.

“Huff!!!!”

The claw, wrapped in flas, lashed out without rcy, bringing a tearing sound through the air.

The montum was impressive, yet as Yaobao’s paw was about to strike directly in front of its own head, it was halted by an unknown force.

The flas exploded, rolling up a wave of heat that montarily brightened and ward the gloomy graveyard significantly.

The flickering fiery shadows allowed a glimpse of an energy wall that blocked the attack.

“Don’t attack! It’s Yunyun!” Wu Chang exclaid in alarm.

“Yunyun!”

The invisible pet beast nodded frantically.

It was it! It was it!

“Ya…”

As the flas vanished, Yaobao sheepishly retracted its paw.

It was scared to death, thinking it was sothing else….

Just then, Qiao Sang exclaid in shock, “Yaobao, you know Fla Claw?!”

Fla Claw, a mid-tier Fire Elent skill, concentrates fire elent energy within the claws. It offers a powerful attack in addition to a certain chance to inflict burn status on the target.

This skill was sothing Yaobao had never learned before, so how could it suddenly perform it?

Could it have been from fright?

Qiao Sang couldn’t help but recall the scene when Yaobao, initially watching TV, was startled into sparks.

This wasn’t the first ti Yaobao’s fright had led to a sudden skill acquisition.

Could it be that Yaobao had the talent to bring forth new skills when scared?

The ti spent watching horror films in the past was simply too little.

Should she experint again next ti….

“Ya Ya!”

Upon hearing these words, Yaobao first looked puzzled, then lifted its paw excitedly to check it out, completely unaware of its Beast Tar’s dark thoughts.

On the other side.

“Yunyun, are you alright?” Wu Chang asked with concern.

“Yunyun.” The spectral-type pet shook its head to indicate it was fine.

“Yunyun, where are you?” Wu Chang asked.

“Yunyun.” The spectral-type pet shimred in front of him and waved its paw.

“Yunyun, where did you go just now?” Wu Chang continued to ask.

Pulled out of his thoughts, Qiao Sang looked up to see Wu Chang seemingly talking to thin air.

If not for the voice responding to him in the air, anyone unaware would think him insane.

“Xiao Xunbao.” Qiao Sang called out softly.

“Xun~” Xiao Xunbao floated down from above.

“Can you see it?” Qiao Sang whispered.

Xiao Xunbao looked towards the source of the “Yunyun” sound, and after failing to see anything, it rubbed its eyes with its paws and strained to look once more.

“Xun Xun….”

Xiao Xunbao shook its head.

It saw nothing.

Not a Spectral Series pet beast, yet invisible; one that also brought good fortune and had demonstrated a skill related to the Psychic Series according to its previous display. Which pet beast in the Yuhua Region matched these abilities….

Lost in thought, Qiao Sang heard Wu Chang saying, “Yunyun, I’ve brought soone to heal you. Don’t worry, your injury will be completely healed this ti. Quickly cover yourself with the cloth so she can see you.”

As he spoke, he pulled out a crumpled piece of chiffon cloth from his pocket and gave it a shake.

“Yunyun.”

The unseen pet beast uttered a sound, and the piece of chiffon was moved forward by an unknowing force.

As the white cloth fell, an outline of a being with dual three-honed ears and asuring around 30 centiters in height appeared underneath it.

Qi Yunla… Qiao Sang stared blankly at the ears revealed by the white cloth, her mind going “buzz,” her expression frozen, bemused on the spot.

As if to affirm her guess, a deep sigh resonated from behind:

“Qi Yunla, I have finally waited for you…”
