"Teacher Si Yan!" Hu Qiao walked to Si Yan’s cave, just in ti to see her feeding Bai Hong dicine.
Hu Qiao recognized Bai Hong. Upon seeing this, he imdiately grabbed Si Yan’s hand that was administering the dicine. "Teacher Si Yan, what are you doing?"
Si Yan stopped and slowly turned her head toward Hu Qiao. "I am treating her illness."
"Treating her illness?" Hu Qiao was stunned, then said angrily, "Are you ssing around? Do you even know who she is!"
Si Yan shook off Hu Qiao’s robust hand. "Hu Qiao, if you want her to live, if you don’t want to bring trouble to Black Tiger City, you’d better let give her this dicine."
Hu Qiao said angrily, "Myriad Beasts City has no cure for her insect disease! What can you possibly do? Can you bear this responsibility?!"
Si Yan calmly replied, "She has had this illness for over a decade. She’s been treated many tis, but unfortunately, with the wrong dicine, so it was ineffective. Currently, she suffers from relentless abdominal pain. During her bowel movents, she should excrete a large number of worms. If dicine isn’t administered now, the worms will harm her internal organs, and I fear she might lose her life."
"Nonsense!" Hu Yong, having heard the noise outside, walked into the cave. "The Young Mistress of White Eagle City holds a status arguably higher than the City Lord himself! How can you so carelessly administer dicine to her? If sothing goes wrong, none of us will be able to leave White Eagle City!"
If the treatnt caused any harm, a feud between Black Tiger City and White Eagle City would be inevitable!
Si Yan insisted, "Without treatnt, her death is certain."
"Dongchi, help!"
The three young snakes didn’t care about the rights or wrongs of the situation; they would do whatever Si Yan asked!
Bei Ji and Xi Qing blocked Hu Yong and Hu Qiao’s path.
Dongchi stepped forward to hold Bai Hong, while Si Yan pinched Bai Hong’s chin and poured the dicine down her throat.
Although Bai Hong was unconscious, a slight awareness remained; she knew what was happening around her.
Seeing that Si Yan had already administered the dicine, Hu Yong and Hu Qiao gave up trying to stop her.
Hu Yong stared intently at the dicine in Si Yan’s hand. If this truly was dicine for the insect disease, it would be imnsely important—a truly great thing for the Beast World.
"I don’t do things I’m not sure of," Si Yan said calmly, turning around after administering the dicine.
After the insect disease dicine was given, Hu Yong and Hu Qiao were extrely nervous. They stood by, hardly daring to breathe.
Si Yan waited quietly nearby.
Before long, a violent rumbling ca from the Hawk Clan female’s stomach, followed by thunderous gurgling mixed with a foul stench.
Bai Hong had indeed excreted worms; it was utterly disgusting.
Despite the disgusting scene, filled with various foul odors, Hu Yong was visibly shaken and moved.
Si Yan carried Bai Hong into an inner room and gave her so water to drink.
Si Yan checked Bai Hong’s eyelids and felt her pulse, then said to the two Tiger Beastn, "She’s all right now. We just have to wait for her to wake up."
Hu Yong gazed at Bai Hong silently for a while, then said, "Teacher Si Yan."
The atmosphere was inexplicably heavy. Si Yan replied softly, "Yes?"
"The fact that you can treat the insect disease... let’s keep it to ourselves for now. Don’t tell anyone else."
"Yes."
As the sun was about to set, more than a dozen Hawk Clan Beastn surrounded Black Tiger City’s resting place from the sky!
Giant white hawks hovered above.
Si Yan walked out of the cave and asked Hu Qiao, "What happened?"
Hu Qiao glanced at her. Since Bai Hong hadn’t awakened yet, he still didn’t believe Si Yan could cure the insect disease.
He answered, "White Eagle City says we’ve kidnapped their Young Mistress. Lord Ming Yan isn’t here right now, and Lord Hu Yong has been trying to explain, but they won’t believe him."
Hu Qiao then asked, "Teacher Si Yan, can you really cure the insect disease? Will Bai Hong truly wake up?"
Si Yan nodded.
Hu Qiao, still sowhat doubtful, looked up at the sky and gritted his teeth. "Bai Hong is the City Lord of White Eagle City’s daughter, the most revered female there... I just hope you can truly save her."
If she is saved, Black Tiger City and White Eagle City might form a bond. If not, a feud between them will likely be set in stone.
As a new and ordinary small city, Black Tiger City is already at odds with White Tiger City. If they also make an enemy of White Eagle City, the consequences would be unimaginable.
But if she is cured, it won’t just be her good fortune; it will also be a blessing for Black Tiger City.
In the sky, an enormous, long-feathered white eagle with snow-white pupils soared. A light purple Beast Crystal adorned its head. It was beautiful and pristine, its feathers light and fluttering, as majestic as a celestial being.
Legend had it that White Eagle City had a High Priest who had lived for countless years, a Beastman who had existed since before the Beast God abandoned the Beast World.
He possessed the Eyes of Heaven and was a true emissary of the Beast God.
And this legendary white eagle’s gaze instantly locked onto Si Yan.
His pure white pupils held a penetrating gaze that made Si Yan feel as if she had been seen through, with nowhere to hide.
eting its gaze, Si Yan was slightly startled.
A white eagle...
Si Yan suddenly asked Hu Qiao, "Is that... Bai Feng?"
Hu Qiao asked in surprise, "Teacher Si Yan, do you know him?"
"I can’t say I *know* him..."
Si Yan fixed her intense gaze on the white eagle.
She knew *of* him because he was another vividly depicted character in the original story.
In the original story, after the female lead Jie Ling grew up, there was Ming Yan, the terrifying Black Tiger—a male she dared not have designs on.
There was also a male who relentlessly pursued her but could never win her: the legendary foremost beauty of the Beast World, the High Priest of White Eagle City who never left his mountain seclusion—Bai Feng of the White Pupils.
The mont their eyes t, this incredibly beautiful eagle slowly descended toward her.
As he landed, his form gradually transford. Before Si Yan stood a male with a handso face, distinct features, and snow-white long hair that almost reached the Polar Lands. His fur was entirely white, and his snow-white pupils made him appear as sacred and perfect as a deity.
He looked at Si Yan, and she looked at him.
Though his eyes were clearly white, one could see a white pupil within each. To Si Yan’s sight, these pupils visibly changed at this very mont.
They gradually turned square.
Bai Feng’s eyes possessed an extre, piercing strength; they seed to see right through her.
"Otherworldly soul. Si Yan," Bai Feng said, his voice calm.
As Bai Feng spoke, Si Yan felt as if her surroundings turned white, as though only she and Bai Feng remained in her world.
"Bai Feng?" Si Yan murmured.
Bai Feng’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of surprise in them.
"You were betrayed by the one you trusted most," Bai Feng stated, "and he cast you into hell."
Si Yan’s heart chilled.
In her previous life, he had plunged a dagger into her shoulder and pushed her into a horde of zombies—a pain buried so deep in her heart she was unwilling to reveal it.
"You crawled out of hell." Bai Feng’s pupils slowly spun. "You brought with you a square box... fire... You burned everyone. Including yourself."
Si Yan’s fists clenched abruptly.
mories of her previous life overwheld her like a tidal wave.
He had wanted her dead, but she had stubbornly refused to die.
She had escaped from the zombie horde. No one knew she possessed a spatial storage, from which she had used food and weapons to survive.
She had taken the most powerful bomb available at the ti to their headquarters and pressed a dagger to that man’s neck.
She had ignited the bomb.
BANG!!!!!
Everything was consud by fire, blown to smithereens...
She hadn’t died at the hands of zombies!
She had exacted her revenge; she and the man who had plotted against her had perished together.
Only then had she arrived in this world.
