"Yap yap!"

Yabao, standing to the side, was excited. He ran over and called out to Little Treasure, suggesting they go train right now!

"Xun xun!"

Little Treasure was startled and quickly shook his head, indicating it wasn't training ti yet.

"Yap yap..."

Yabao looked disappointed, then let out another sound to say, I'll go wait for you outside then.

With that, he headed toward the outdoor training field and began training on his own.

"Xun xun~"

Little Treasure turned a pitiful gaze to his Beast master.

Do I really have to go?

Qiao Sang nodded.

"If you still want your re presence to make every opponent drop to their knees."

"Xun xun..."

Little Treasure looked even more pitiful.

Honestly, he didn't really want to have such overwhelming presence...

Qiao Sang: ......

She paused for a mont before suddenly asking, "Do your little underlings outside know how cowardly you're being right now?"

"Xun xun..."

Little Treasure froze, then shook his head.

Nope. They had no idea.

Qio Sang's tone remained calm: "Then tell , what would happen if I told them what you're like right now?"

"XUN XUN!"

Tears welled up in Little Treasure's eyes, his face filled with heroic resignation.

Fine, I'll go! I'll go, okay?!

Now that's more like it. Qiao Sang chuckled, "The training will be a bit hard during this ti, but I'll let you play on the computer for an extra hour at night."

"Xun xun..."

Little Treasure still wasn't thrilled.

If playing an extra hour of computer every day ant battling with Big Brother Yabao every single day, then... maybe the computer wasn't that important after all.

The computer just didn't hold the sa appeal for Little Treasure anymore... Which was fine, at least Qiao Sang didn't have to worry about him becoming an internet-addicted pet in the future.

After settling Yabao and Little Treasure's training, Qiao Sang turned and noticed Adinishi still sitting at the table, eating away. She pulled out a chair and sat beside it, asking: "You still can't do any predictions?"

For the past month, both Qiao Sang and Teacher Pirite had asked this regularly. Adinishi had long grown used to answering without even blinking.

"Dee dee."

It shook its head without even thinking.

Still can't.

Liar... Qiao Sang muttered inwardly, then sighed aloud.

"But we're only staying on this planet for 27 more days. If you still can't predict by then, what should we do?"

The library at Yulianton University held nearly every valuable book from ancient tis to the present, including extensive records on phantom beasts.

Naturally, Adinishi was among them.

Half a month ago, Qiao Sang had gone to look up anything that might help Adinishi recover faster, hoping to find so useful materials.

Instead, she read the line: "For Adinishi, predicting is as easy as eating or drinking water."

Looking back at how much Adinishi had eaten and drunk this past month, without even playing the flute a couple of tis, she imdiately realized she'd been tricked.

But Adinishi was a King-level beast. Playing the flute didn't just help with prediction, it also had attack, hypnosis, and other effects. Forcing it to play just to produce a predictive lody was unlikely to succeed.

If things went wrong, Adinishi might pretend to agree, only to hypnotize her and escape.

After all, according to big data, the older a beast was, the more cunning it beca.

Qiao Sang didn't want to call out Adinishi's lies too harshly and start a conflict.

No matter what, after spending so much ti together, she had developed so feelings for it.

"Dee dee?"

Adinishi looked up with a confused expression.

You're leaving in 27 days?

"Gang slice."

Gangbao, still eating nearby, called out to translate.

"That's right." Qiao Sang nodded.

"You already know I'm just a student here on interstellar exchange. Once this sester is over, I'll be leaving."

"Dee dee..."

Realizing there were only 27 days of this life left, even the food in Adinishi's hand lost its flavor.

It sighed deeply.

Seeing this reaction, Qiao Sang felt hopeful and gently probed: "How about trying to play your flute? Just to see if your prediction ability has recovered?"

"Dee dee."

Adinishi looked up seriously at the human in front of it and called out.

"What did it say?" Qiao Sang imdiately turned to Gangbao for a translation.

"Gang slice."

Gangbao answered calmly.

It said it just rembered sothing that might help restore its prediction ability.

Qiao Sang was montarily stunned, then lit up with joy.

"What is it?"

Though Adinishi was still obviously lying, it was at least loosening up now.

"Dee dee."

Adinishi made a sound and disappeared.

Two seconds later, it reappeared, holding a laptop.

Qiao Sang instantly recognized it, it was the one she kept on her bedroom desk.

She opened her mouth, hesitated, then said nothing.

"Dee dee."

Adinishi opened the laptop skillfully, launched the browser, and began tapping away on the keyboard.

One food photo after another started appearing on the screen.

"Dee dee."

It pointed to the images.

This one, that one, and this one... I need all of them.

Qiao Sang's smile twitched. She asked with forced calm: "Jelly, potato chips, popcorn, fruit candy... rolled cake? Are you sure?"

"Dee dee." Adinishi nodded.

"I see." Qiao Sang picked up her phone to place an order.

"Dee dee."

Adinishi called out again.

She turned to Gangbao with a questioning glance.

"Gang slice."

Gangbao translated.

It said those snacks might help, but they're not guaranteed to work.

Qiao Sang: ......

This thing knows I caught it lying, huh?

And now it's not even bothering to pretend anymore!

She turned to look at Adinishi.

Adinishi blinked innocently.

In the end, Qiao Sang gave in and continued placing the order on her phone.

"Dee dee..."

Adinishi couldn't help but burst out laughing as it watched her. The food in its hand suddenly tasted delicious again.

---

Half an hour later, Little Treasure floated toward the outdoor training ground with a look of noble resignation on his face.

Qiao Sang brought Gangbao to the indoor training room.

After Gangbao finished demonstrating her progress, Qiao Sang fell silent for a while before speaking: "In Coordinated Competitions, they value style points. Firing all your feathers at once does make it obvious you've trained your Wing Blade to the mastery level, it shows your power."

She paused, then added: "But seeing you completely bald isn't exactly... aesthetically pleasing."

"Gang slice?"

Gangbao looked confused.

Isn't power the sa thing as beauty?

"Humans and beasts have slightly different aesthetics." Qiao Sang replied honestly.

"Humans like avian beasts that have long, beautiful feathers."

"Gang slice."

Gangbao nodded, indicating she understood.

Though honestly, she still didn't really get it.

Her feathers retuned after using Wing Blade. She showcased her strength and then went back to looking like humans wanted. The baldness was just temporary.

But... this was a human competition.

I don't understand.

But I respect it.
