-----

The three of them walked inside.

Upon entering, it was imdiately apparent that the arena for D-rank Beast Tars was significantly larger than that of the E-rank matches.

The cheers and shouts from the surrounding crowd were also much louder.

Yuna handed a card to a staff mber at the reception.

The staff mber was clearly stunned for a mont, then respectfully led the three of them through the side entrance to a private room on the second floor.

The room was decorated lavishly. Through the glass window, the entire arena below was clearly visible.

In front of the plush seats was a holographic touchscreen that displayed information about the competitors and allowed real-ti betting.

Qiao Sang had a complicated expression.

She had been here yesterday, yet she had never noticed this place…

At that mont, Tang Yi’s voice rang out, “I’ve been coming here for so long, and I never knew this place existed!”

Thank you, my spokesperson… Qiao Sang imdiately thought of sothing and turned to Yuna, asking,

“Did you bring cash?”

Yuna paused, thinking Qiao Sang was worried about expenses.

“I have a VIP card, this private room is free.”

“No.” Qiao Sang clarified.

“I ant actual money, cash, not credit cards.”

Youna shook her head slightly.

“My family only gave a credit card.”

So, just like … Qiao Sang couldn’t hide her disappointnt and let out an “Oh.”

Youna caught on and asked, “Are you thinking of placing a bet?”

Qiao Sang nodded.

“I only have a credit card, but they don’t allow credit card bets here. And you can’t bet on your own match. I originally wanted you to place a bet for , and I’d pay you back later.”

Yuna chuckled.

“You forgot, I’m a VIP here. My VIP card has money on it.”

Qiao Sang’s interest was imdiately piqued.

“Then when it’s my turn, place a bet on to win. I’ll pay you back later.”

“No problem.” Yuna made an OK gesture.

“Place a bet for too.” Tang Yi said excitedly.

“I wanted to find soone to bet for before, but I couldn’t find anyone.”

“Consider it done.” Yuna smiled.

“You’ve co to the right person. With here, it’ll be hard for you to lose.”

After saying that, she ford a seal with her hands.

A gray star array lit up on the floor.

Soon, a beast appeared in the room. It was predominantly white, with a slender upper body and a plump lower half. Two blue ribbons floated around it, and it had long arms with three fingers on each hand, holding two cards.

“This is Ze Youmu.” Youna introduced.

“Just give it two options, and it can calculate which one is the better choice with high accuracy.”

“Ze.” Ze Youmu called out, as if greeting them.

This ability is too overpowered, basically a cheating tool for betting… Qiao Sang was envious.

Tang Yi, intrigued, asked, “Can we test it now?”

“Of course.” Yuna pointed at the two Beast Tars currently battling in the arena.

“Ze Youmu, show them what you can do.”

Her expression was full of confidence, her tone utterly casual.

“Ze.”

Ze Youmu, following its Beast Tar’s command, tossed the two cards in its hand into the air. They hovered for a mont as it closed its eyes.

About three seconds later, the left card emitted a blue glow and slowly floated down in front of Ze Youmu.

“Ze.”

Ze Youmu opened its eyes, looked at the card, then pointed at the Beast Tar standing on the left side of the arena and let out a cry.

Yuna confidently pointed as well.

“I don’t know the exact score, but if you’re betting on a simple win or loss, this person should win.”

For a mont, Qiao Sang and Tang Yi both held their breath, watching the match below as they waited for the result.

Nineteen minutes later, the match was decided.

All three of the left-side contestant’s beasts collapsed first. The right-side contestant waved and smiled in victory.

Qiao Sang and Tang Yi both turned to look at Yuna with aningful expressions.

Yuna looked a little embarrassed.

“It’s not 100% accurate every ti…”

“Ze…”

Ze Youmu scratched its head, looking apologetic.

Qiao Sang: …

Then why did you act so confident earlier?

“I’m going to register. When my match cos up, bet on to win.”

Qiao Sang said before pausing and adding, “Don’t bet too much, 10,000 alliance coins per match.”

She was always cautious. Although she was confident she wouldn’t lose, that was only against people her age or high school students.

Arena matches were open to the public, with no age restrictions. Competitors could use tools and spirit patterns, and the beasts here were unfamiliar to her. No matter how confident she was, she couldn’t guarantee an absolute win.

10,000 per match isn’t too much? Tang Yi silently complained but said aloud, “I’ll register too. Bet everything on to win, 1,000 alliance coins per match.”

After speaking, he suddenly thought of sothing and added, “If I go up against Qiao Sang, bet on her to win, 10 tis the amount.”

Yuna was slightly surprised.

Most runners-up didn’t easily accept their defeat to the champion. This was the first ti she’d seen soone with such a humble attitude.

“I got it.” Youna nodded.

---

Unlike the E-rank Beast Tar matches, the registration process this ti went smoothly.

However, when a staff mber learned that Qiao Sang had contracted four beasts, they specifically inford her that D-rank matches followed a 3v3 format, only three beasts could be sent out per match.

Qiao Sang had no objections.

After registering, she went to the restroom.

Going to the restroom before a match was an unspoken rule among Beast Tars.

After all, there had been many cases where Beast Tars suddenly needed to go mid-battle, lost focus, and turned an advantageous situation into a loss.

Exiting the stall, she was washing her hands when she suddenly felt movent in her pocket.

She took out the seemingly ordinary-looking Chan Chan Stone and handed it to Little Treasure.

“Store it in your ring for now. Take it out after the match.”

Now that Little Treasure's storage ability had reached A-rank, he could store living things. They hadn’t tested the exact limit, but a week was definitely fine.

“Xun Xun~”

Little Treasure appeared and took the Chan Chan Stone.

“Chan Chan…”

The Chan Chan Stone, which had just attempted to escape but failed, silently shed two crystal-clear tears.

She had barely taken a few steps out of the restroom when she suddenly overheard a conversation between two n:

“When’s your match?”

“The third one after this.”

“Alright. How much this ti?”

“I want 50,000 more than last ti.”

“No way.”

“If you don’t pay, who knows how I’ll fight against Naideng? What if I ‘accidentally’ win? You’re Naiden’s agent, what do you think he’d say? I want money. You want fa. A fair trade, isn’t it?”

“Mr. Kaies, you seem to think too highly of yourself. You really believe you can beat Naiden?”

“If you thought I couldn’t win, why co to at all?”

“…”

So, this is an adult’s match… I’d heard about bribing opponents before, but I didn’t expect to witness it firsthand. And they didn’t even pick a more discreet location, if soone overheard them, they wouldn’t even know…

Wait a minute, are my ears getting sharper? I didn’t even see anyone, yet I heard everything so clearly…

Qiao Sang silently complained in her heart but kept a straight face, pretending she hadn’t heard anything, and continued walking toward the arena.

A minute later.

Two n exited the n’s restroom.

“Well then, to a successful partnership.”

“To a successful partnership.”
