Nebelis floated high above the clearing.

Its eyes were locked on Razorkai and Zephyrahn.

Mist swirled around Nebelis's tail.

"It seems it's ti I stepped in myself."

But before it could move, Liline stopped it.

"Hold on," she said, her tone light but firm.

Nebelis's eyes narrowed.

"What's the matter?" it asked.

Liline's smile widened.

"It's not your ti yet."

Nebelis's tail twitched. "What do you an?"

Liline's eyes sparkled. "Now it's my turn."

Nebelis tilted its head slightly, the mist around it thickening.

"You?" it asked, surprised.

"Are you going to fight them yourself?"

Liline giggled softly. "Oh, of course not," she said, her voice playful.

"I didn't co all this way just to get my hair ssy."

Nebelis huffed. "Then what do you plan to do?"

Liline tapped her pen lightly on her clipboard.

"I brought a new soldier," she explained.

"Well… not really a soldier. More like an elite private soldier."

Nebelis's eyes glowed brighter. "I see."

It floated closer to her. "Where is it?"

Liline's grin turned sly.

"Just outside the Mist Forest," she said, pointing beyond the trees.

Nebelis's tail whipped through the air, sending ripples through the mist.

"Let check," it said.

Its eyes closed, mist swirling around its head.

A mont later, it opened its eyes again.

"I see it," it said. "So this one… interesting."

Liline clapped her hands once, her grin bright.

"Good," she said.

"Can you make a path for it to enter?"

Nebelis's tail curled in amusent.

"Of course," it said.

"I'll open the mist way for it to et those hybrids."

Liline's eyes glead. "Perfect," she said.

"This is going to be even more fun than I thought."

Nebelis's voice rumbled softly.

"You really do enjoy this," it said, its tone curious.

Liline's smile softened. "I do," she admitted.

"It's like watching a story unfold. And I do love a good story."

Nebelis's eyes shone faintly as it shifted its massive body.

"Then let's watch," it said.

"I'll guide your warrior into the arena."

The mist below them thickened, swirling and churning as it ford a path from the forest's edge.

Far away, in the darkness, a figure stepped forward.

Nebelis's eyes followed the figure.

"This one… it carries an interesting scent," it said.

Liline's smile turned mischievous.

"Just wait," she said.

"You're about to see sothing special."

The mist path solidified, glowing softly as it led the new warrior.

Nebelis's tail flicked. "Very well," it said. "Let's watch a better show."

---

The two hybrids suddenly perked up, their eyes narrowing as the ground trembled.

A hole appeared in the mist ahead of them, swirling with silvery light.

From that hole, they felt a presence.

Razorkai's grin spread wide.

"Hah! Another one of the mist's gas?" he laughed.

"Co on then! Let's see what snack crawls out next!"

Zephyrahn stayed silent, eyes locked on the opening.

Its steel feathers rustled faintly in the cold wind.

From the hole, a figure erged.

A tall, sleek, silver naga, its upper body human-like but cold and inhuman.

The lower half was a long, coiled tail of shining Luxorite scales.

Its silver eyes glowed, and a mocking smirk never left its lips.

Razorkai's grin faltered. His eyes widened.

"Vernyx?!" he shouted.

"What are you doing here?! Aren't you dead?"

The silver naga tilted its head, its forked tongue flicking out once.

"Oh, if it isn't Razorkai and Zephyrahn," it hissed softly.

"It's been a while since I saw you two."

Zephyrahn's eyes narrowed, sharp as daggers.

"So you survived," it said, voice cold and clipped.

"Changed sides, did you?"

L-Snake's smirk grew.

"Changed sides? No. I didn't change sides. I changed entirely."

It raised a single silver-scaled hand.

"I am not the sa Vernyx you once knew," it said.

"I am now sothing else. A new entity forged by my master, Lord L."

Razorkai's grin returned, cruel and mocking.

"Lord L? Don't make laugh!" He slamd his claws together, sparks flying.

"You think just because you changed your scales, you can beat us?"

Zephyrahn's feathers bristled.

"You are nothing but a traitor now," it spat.

"You were once one of us. Now you are just another enemy to be erased."

L-Snake's tongue flicked again, its smile twisting into sothing sharp.

"Traitor?" it asked, voice dripping with amusent.

"No, no, my dear Zephyrahn. I was reborn. Upgraded. Perfected."

It leaned forward slightly, Luxorite scales shifting with a soft hiss.

"And now? Now I stand before you as your executioner."

Razorkai let out a barking laugh.

"Executioner? Ha! You were weak then, and you're weak now!"

"We've always been stronger than you, Vernyx."

"How do you think you can beat us?"

L-Snake's grin widened, eyes glowing brighter.

"Weak then, perhaps," it purred. "But now?"

It extended one arm, Luxorite shifting along its skin.

"Now I am L-Snake."

"No poison, no burn, no darkness can touch ."

"And every strike you make? Every skill you show?"

"I learn it. I grow. I beco stronger."

Zephyrahn's wings flared with anger.

"Arrogant fool," it said, voice low and cold.

"You speak too much."

L-Snake's tongue flicked again, slow and deliberate.

"Perhaps," it said.

"But words are part of the ga, aren't they?"

Its body uncoiled, rising taller than before.

"Razorkai. Zephyrahn. You were once my brothers."

"But now?"

It smirked again. "Now you are my prey."

Razorkai's grin vanished, replaced by a scowl.

"Then co on!" he roared.

"Let's see if your fancy new scales can handle a real fight!"

Zephyrahn stayed silent, but its feathers glead, blades ready.

L-Snake's eyes glowed brighter still.

"It will be my pleasure," it whispered.

---

Nebelis floated above the battlefield.

Its silver eyes glowed as it watched the three beasts below.

It smiled softly.

"A battle between forr brothers?"

"It will be really interesting."

Liline hovered beside it, her clipboard in one hand.

"Yeah," she agreed, her eyes bright.

"Of course it will be interesting. I wouldn't miss this for the world."

She leaned forward slightly, teasing.

"You want so treats to go with the show?"

Nebelis's tail curled with amusent. "

Tea vapor for ," it said.

Liline grinned. "Sure. One tea vapor coming right up."

She summoned a small Luxorite teapot, steam rising from its spout.

The misty aroma spread, calming yet sharp.

Nebelis inhaled slowly, eyes narrowing in pleasure.

"Perfect," it murmured.

And together, they settled in to watch the deadly dance below.
