It hurt.
I don’t know where I was, or how long it has been since I was tied into this position, but I knew for sure that it was hurting .
The pain in my body was only increasing with each passing second.
My body had gone stiff with whatever drugs they infused into my system, and the fact that it was even harder to open my eyes talked at length about what kind of grave situation I was in.

The air around felt like it was choking rather than letting survive. My chest tightened, and I took a deep breath, trying my best to open my eyes again.
’Carl, I need to talk to her,’ His urgent voice road in my head, and I clenched my fists, the strain making realize my hands were tied.
’Are you alright, Valencia?’ Aurora’s soft voice ca next, and my body imdiately responded.
’Aurora! What’s happening? I feel all stuck and am unable to open my eyes. Are we drugged or sothing?’ I imdiately asked and the fake-wolf sighed.
’Naa. Stupid rogues gave us wolfsbane but they don’t know that you are immune to the drug because you drink it like your coffee. However, it is the silver that is troubling you because all these tis, you are a werewolf at the end. It’s not severe, but you’ve lost a lot of blood. Maybe that’s the reason you are not able to open your eyes,’ Aurora said, and I humd.
"What do you think? How long do we need to wait for the boss?"
"Let’s just finish our dinner first. We can talk about other things later,"
I could hear the voices around .
They were talking about dinner. It could only an that not much ti has passed.
It was still the sa night.
"Let’s go. Lock the doors. We have to keep things in check. The boss clearly said that we can’t lag when it cos to her because this bitch here is the reason behind the death of our brothers,"
"Don’t worry. Only the window is open. She won’t be able to run away from here,"
"Yeah, and besides, we gave her enough drugs to stay passed out for the entire night,"
The rogues talked among themselves before they left.
I heard the sound of the door closing with a bang, making jerk in my place.
’Aurora, can you help a little?’ I asked Aurora, who furrowed her brows as she looked at .
"What exactly are you thinking, Valencia?" She asked , and after trying for the seventh ti, I was finally able to open my eyes.
I looked at my wolf while looking at the ropes tied around my hands.
"You know how much I crave blood, don’t you?" I asked Aurora, who looked at a bit hesitant and nodded.
’Umm, yeah,’ she said cautiously.
"And it’s all because of you, right?" I asked and she nodded.
’Well, in that case, we obviously got to run out of here without shedding any blood. And do you know how we are going to do that?’ I asked, and she looked at , already knowing sothing was brewing in my head.
"By transformation," I said.
’Do you want to transform you into the largest tiger so that you can kill or scare all the rogues and run away?’ Aurora asked and I rolled my eyes.
Seriously. How can she be so oblivious?
’Obviously not. I want you to turn into the smallest cat so that I can sneak out of this window without being caught. Don’t always seek blood and fights. We got to act peacefully sotis,’ I said as I looked at the opened window which had big enough gaps for a cat to easily go.
Stupid people. If their boss told them to not take lightly, they should’ve done the sa.
What does it an they went to dine? It just gave a lesson to establish another rule for my rogue team.
I sighed and Aurora finally nodded her head.
As soon as she turned into the cat, the ropes imdiately loosened, and I grinned.
Sotis I think, being like this wasn’t that bad of an option. All you need to learn is how to use your weakness in your favor.
I looked around one last ti before jumping out the window and exiting the place.
I kept walking on my little paws, looking around and taking in as much information as I could.
Why? Well because I was going to attack this place soon.
How dare they attack from behind and make bleed like this when my heart was bleeding already?
As I exited the so-called dungeons, I noticed how it was built near the farthest lake in the sa forest as the Dark Callisto pack, probably the reason they were able to stay in the sa regions without being noticed and do all their work so efficiently.
However, who would’ve thought they would et a person like ?
As I exited the place, I looked at the rogues who were talking about sothing among themselves, a smirk appearing on my face as I made my way towards them.
I patted the foot of the rogue who was eating what looked like noodles and he looked at , making widen my eyes.
’Valencia, seriously? I swear you will sell your soul for food. Can’t you eat sothing at ho? We need to be out of here in the first place. What is wrong with you? Oh my god,’ Aurora shouted at in the background, and I smiled at the rogue extending my paw.
Well, in my defense according to my emotion-sensing powers, this rogue was the most docile and approachable person here.
I saw him taking a deep breath before he pulled sothing from his box and placed it on a small piece of paper before putting it down, and I slled it.
It looked like fried buns.
I smiled and sat there, eating the fried buns.
"What do you think about this girl? She doesn’t really look like the type who would be able to kill so many of our brothers. They weren’t weak rogues but trained ones, for god’s sake. Is there a mistake?"
"No, seriously? Do you think the rumors are true? One of our n said that they saw her turning into a white tiger,"
The other rogue said, and I froze in my place. Was this the reason the rogue leader of this group was intrigued by in the first place?
"That’s just bullshit. I am sure he is just faking it to stay close to the leader. Let’s not forget all the tis such people appear out of nowhere so they can take the position of the right-hand man of the leader. It’s nothing new. She is clearly a werewolf. Or do you guys think that the alpha would let her stay with him?"
The other rogue said and I nodded my head.
His words made sense. They should believe him.
But why were they only talking about leaders and shit? Don’t they have anything worth listening to? For example, show a photo of who the leader was.
"By the way, have you heard that the rogue head is returning to the country?" One of the rogues said and my ears stood on alert.
Rogue head. Wasn’t my man saying sothing similar?
"Returning to the country? The rumors say he is already back in the country. My brother who is in another state said that the tip-tier rogue leaders are asked to look for a girl with grayish-blue eyes and long brown hair," the rogues said and I scoffed.
Yeah? As if I don’t have those features -
I froze. Wait. Was the rogue head really looking for ? I gulped.
’Stop acting like you are a heroine of so kind of movie. I am sure there are around 20 girls with grayish-blue eyes and long brown hair. You have just collected an army of fools just like you, who feed our delusions,’ Aurora burst my bubble and I sighed.
Since there wasn’t anything aningful and worth listening to, I stood from my place and started walking away.
Looking at the guy one last ti who fed .
After all, I got to show him rcy for how he treated with politeness.
As soon as I walked so distance, I heard a commotion behind and I stopped to look behind .
"Boss," The rogues stood from their place, and I looked at the man who walked towards the entrance of the underground dungeons.
I couldn’t see his face, and as much as I wanted to see it, I wasn’t a fool to stay here and risk it.
The boss was already suspecting that I could change into a tiger, what if he figured I was a shapeshifter and caught ?
Without looking back, I ran as fast as I could, smiling at my victory.
Ha, they really thought they could catch . What fools.
