The HOD received an important call from the director and had to leave imdiately.
Thus, I was asked to wait for him in the Dean’s office instead, and that was exactly where I was going.
"Shadow, do you know who I think you are?" I asked, and Shadow paused before looking at .
"What do you an? What do you know about ?" He asked, his gaze darkening, and I scoffed inwardly.
Look at him acting so mysteriously as if he is so big Mafia hiding under so different na to conceal his identity.
"You are a doppelganger of Satan himself. And you have co into my life to fill it with trouble," I glared at him, and he chuckled, not at all minding my words.
What was so funny about that? It was exactly who he was. I don’t know how, but from the day we t, trouble kept knocking on my door. It was true that I got into trouble plenty of tis, but it has never been like this. I used to save myself from any kind of trouble just fine before eting him.
And I swear it’s all because of his alpha. I have to stay on high alert whenever I am out because I am afraid so kind of alpha and his n are probably tailing .
When I was returning ho yesterday, I had this weird feeling that soone was following all the way, and if Carl hadn’t been ho, there was no way I would have gone ho and told that stalker where I lived either.

"Well, considering how you were ogling at my body and calling inappropriate even when you had that perverted look in your eyes, I am sure-" he started to say and I looked at him, amazed, before stopping in front of him.
What did he call ? Pervert? Who’s the pervert here? Who was the one who kept pressing his manhood into earlier and whispering like he wanted to lick my neck? The audacity of this man!!
"You!" I pointed my fingers at him, but knowing I couldn’t say even a single word inside my head, I locked my jaws.
This was unfair. The world was unfair! He was bullying all because he was in an upper position than . I suddenly pouted, feeling sorry for myself.
"Don’t point your finger at , kitten. If anyone sees you again, you will land yourself into a deeper shit," Shadow grinned before stepping forward, making my finger touch his chest now.
"Oh my god, Miss Valencia. What have I ever done to you? Why are you so feisty towards ? Sir, she -" Shadow said, and I quickly turned around.
However, when I saw no one standing there, I huffed loudly.
This man! Hooligan! Son of an unmarried man! How dare he?!
"You played ," I glared at him.
"I haven’t even started yet, Mitsuki," he whispered before he held my pointed finger and placed it on the place where his heart was.
I looked at my finger before raising my gaze to et his.
"I am your friend in the end. No matter how much we fight. I can help you, believe ," Shadow said, and I sighed before pulling my finger from his hold.
He was right in a way. The exams were near and then there were internal marks. My credits were already low because of my poor attendance. If I got another negative remark, it would affect terribly.
"All you have to do is ask," Shadow whispered into my ears from behind, and I glared at him.
"Fine. Help , oh savior, my knight in shining armor with a silver shield and golden heart," I said to him before rolling my eyes while he looked at amused.
"Kiss ," He said, and I glared at him.
This hooligan! He is at it again!
As if I am going to co in his words again. Besides, he is my friend, shouldn’t he help with that?
Without looking back, I increased my pace and walked forward, getting straight into the dean’s office.
"Valencia, what did you do this ti? Are you not done with the heights of your mischievous activities that you are harassing teachers now? Especially the one who thinks about your welfare?" The dean asked as soon as I entered, and I pouted before looking at Shadow.
"He will explain things to you, sir," I said, and both of us looked at Shadow.
Co on. What was he doing? Why isn’t he saying anything now?
"What do I need to say, Miss Valencia? I think you need to explain your actions instead," Shadow said, and I looked at him, perplexed.
He was betraying ! Friends my ass!
"What are you doing, Mr. Shadow, didn’t we-?"
"I wasn’t joking, Miss Valencia," Shadow said, the hidden aning behind his words, making lock my jaws.
So he was playing this kind of ga with ?
If I had kissed him like yesterday, he would’ve said he was joking.
But now that I didn’t kiss him, he was saying he wasn’t joking.

"Fine," I said, telling him I would do what he asked earlier, and Shadow smirked at before smiling at the dean.
"I was just kidding earlier. Honestly -" Shadow said the sa words he told outside and helped explain how he actually knows outside of University, and that was why I was just joking with him and it was much more serious.
However, since I still made a mistake on the University premises, I should be punished with extracurricular activities after University which would be set by none other than Shadow. And I would have to help him as the class representative too.
Once I was done taking my punishnt, I walked out of the cabin, completely tired.
As soon as I saw Aiden walking towards , I walked to him before practically leaning my body on him.
"I don’t think I am in any position to move anymore. I feel dead," I said, and Aiden chuckled at .
"Should I carry you?" He asked , and I pouted before nodding my head.
He was about to bend to pick up when I felt the presence of my tornter, and he held my elbow before pulling away.
"Hey! Where are you taking ? This isn’t right. I should be allowed to eat," I kept shouting while he pulled all the way to his cabin before making sit on the chair and bolting the door, making look at him, surprised.
"What are you-"
"I fulfilled my part of the bargain, it’s your turn," he said with a smirk.
