VALENCIA’S POV
"Sshhh, don’t give away with your antics. Control your breathing," I looked at Aiden, who was looking at with an unsure expression.
I grinned at him, loving the thrill that I was getting with what I was doing.
"Are you sure about it?" Aiden asked, and I winked at him before showing him a thumbs up.
fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ
"Positive. Now co with . We need to climb to the third floor," I said before looking around to ensure no one was there to see what we were doing.
Aiden looked around warily before pressing his lips into a thin line.
I knew he was a bit scared. I an, anyone would be. But wasn’t this fun?
’Valencia, why do you keep forgetting that not everyone is a crackhead like you? Their definition of fun is different from yours, and sneaking into your Dean’s flat to scare him isn’t anywhere near that,’ Aurora said.
I scowled at her.
She never supports my adventures. I don’t know what’s always stuck up her ass.
’There is nothing stuck up my ass, but would you like to know what I would like to have stuck up there?’ Aurora winked, and I glared at her, making her chuckle.
I think it would be better if I closed this so-called mind barrier. Things would be very peaceful here.
"Climb the third floor? Are you sure you would be able to do that? I an, I am athletic and practice a lot, not to ntion my dad’s profession has taught a thing or two, but with your weakness and everything, will you be good?" Aiden asked with a concerned expression.
I looked at him with an amused smile.
Oh, sweetheart, you don’t have any idea what kind of friend you’ve got here, and jumping, and climbing floors is one of her favorite pastis when stealing things.
"Thanks for caring," I smiled at him, and he sighed.
He probably realized I was serious about this and not going to back off this ti.
Honestly, I was planning to co here and scare the hell out of my Dean by vandalizing our next assignnt sheets a little. Just a little prank.
I wasn’t the kind of bully or evil student who goes beyond limits to -
’You are practically sneaking into his house,’ Aurora interrupted , and I pushed her back behind the mind barrier before shaking my head.
Yes. So, as I was saying, I just wanted to have a harmless prank, nothing more. Now who would’ve thought that Aiden would find I was planning sothing because I bought spray paint?
Yeah, I was planning to do a little drawing on my Dean’s walls too.
I have already confird, and he won’t be coming ho which would make things easier.
"You go first. In case you slip, I will be able to hold you and save you," Aiden said, and I shrugged before looking up.
Though Aiden knows how to climb, he might find it a little hard. He wasn’t a pro like .
Without wasting ti, I looked around one more ti before placing my foot near the lifted area.
I grabbed the side pillar like a koala bear before climbing it and then jumped onto the first balcony to take a few seconds’ break.
I repeated the sa thod three tis before I was finally able to reach the balcony of our Dean.
I looked at Aiden, who was looking at with surprise.
’You forgot to struggle,’ Aurora ntioned and I gulped.
’Co on, he won’t think much into it. It’s a skill too. Don’t you see those guys on the internet who climb a building and jump here and there just like that,’ I defended myself before taking out the rope from my backpack.
I tied it to the pillar before throwing it.
"Co up," I motioned to him and saw him struggling.
A snicker almost left my mouth when I saw how hard he was finding it to wrap his legs around the pillar as I did.
He glared at , and I zipped my lips quickly before turning to look inside the room. As I had guessed, the room was completely dark.
I turned around and almost lost my balance, when I ca face to face with Aiden’s blue eyes as he stood so close to , making gulp.
How did he climb so quickly? I looked at him amazed and he smirked at .
"Speechless?" He asked, and I nodded.
"You have not seen all of my hidden talents yet," he said before he tucked my hair behind my ears and jumped inside the room, making look at the back of the man, truly impressed.
Honestly, I had zero hopes for him that he would be able to climb without my help.
’Well, it looks like Shadow got a challenge,’ Aurora said and I furrowed my brows.
’What is that supposed to an?’ I asked and she shrugged.
’Didn’t I tell you that our heat might be near? Do you really think you have what it takes to beat down your carnal desires? You don’t. We will need a man to spend our first heart with. And guess who that man is going to be? I will decide,’ Aurora said.
I looked at her terrified.
Was she trying to say that sleeping with a man was inevitable if my heart occurred too soon? And I will have to force myself into it?
’Oh sweetheart, I promise you that you will love every second of it,’ Aurora winked at , and I honestly don’t know if I should really believe this wolf of mine.
"Are you coming or are you planning on getting caught or sothing?" Aiden said, and I grinned before entering the room.
"Are you sure he won’t be back?" Aiden asked, and I humd before taking out my torch.
I looked around his room and saw there was nothing major that could be destroyed which would cause him a problem. I pulled out my spray paint before taking a deep breath.
"Do you want to do it?" I asked Aiden, who looked at as he leaned on the wall.
"Na, I would rather enjoy the view of this beauty vandalizing things and going rogue. There’s just sothing hot about how you do it," Aiden said, and I chuckled at his choice of words before shaking the spray paint and opening the cap.
But then again, what should I exactly write on his bed sheet?
’Write ’Dick move, Dean’’ Aurora suggested, and I swear she only thinks about ways to get in more trouble.
With the thought of drawing a large smiley skull on the bed sheet, I was about to bend to spray when I heard a weird clicking sound.
I paused.
"What’s wrong?’ Aiden asked and I gulped.
Now how should I explain to him that my werewolf hearing picked on so kind of noise?
"I feel there is sothing in the house. There is this weird feeling in my heart," I said, and Aiden, who was smiling earlier, stood straight.
"You are kidding , right?" He asked and I gulped.
"Did I tell you that this flat has like a two-story kind of area? What if he is downstairs?" I asked, and Aiden looked at as if he saw a ghost.
"Girl, tell you are joking," He said, and I smiled.
"Relax. He isn’t here. I checked it. He was going to et his wife in another city. I heard him talking over the phone when he ca to the cafe today," I said, and he looked at warily, not at all believing anything I was saying.
With a sigh, I placed the spray back in my bag pack.
"You stay here. Let check. I don’t want you to get into trouble because of ," I said before I snuck out of the room slowly before closing the door, ensuring I didn’t make a sound.
It was important for to close the door because if any problem occurred, I would change into a cat, and it wasn’t sothing I wanted Aiden to see, yet.
I padded my way towards the main hall, passing by another two rooms, and realized how big Dean’s brother’s house was.
He was filthy rich to be able to afford this kind of apartnt in this buzzing city.
Seeing the dim light coming out from the bottom of the door, I gulped. Soone was indeed there in the hall. My heartbeat picked its pace as I licked my bottom lip.
Was it a thief? The chances were never nil. Didn’t we co inside the house so easily too?
Soone was walking towards the door, I could see the shadow. I hid behind the pillar quickly, ready to throw away the vase on the man as soon as he opened the door.
However, before I could even grab the case and raise my hand in the hair, soone grabbed my hand, pinning to the wall, making gasp as the familiar scent wafted through my nostrils.
"What a cunning kitten. Always finding her way towards trouble, no?" Shadow asked, his lips almost on my cheeks as he breathed into my ears.
"Sir, is everything alright?"
I heard the dean’s voice and realized that Shadow was here to et the dean, and HE WAS IN THE HOUSE!!
