"Seriously? Are you done? There is sothing I need to check, and no, that’s not your abs. My man has the best physique, and I don’t think you can compare to the beast alpha," I smirked at him.
He rolled his eyes at before standing from his place, not saying anything.
I saw him taking his shirt off and asked him to turn around.
Standing from my place, I opened my phone and took a picture of the mark on his back.
"You can wear your shirt," I said before sending the picture to him.

I walked to him, grabbed his phone from his hand before he could say anything, and placed his phone and mine on the table.

"What do you an?" Axile asked, and I was about to answer him when I saw an incoming call from Maverick.
Axile was about to grab my phone to stop from answering him so I could probably answer him first, but I was quick to hold it.
"I will answer everything. Wait for ," I said before stepping to so distance.
As soon as I picked up the call, Maverick’s anxious voice ca, and I sighed.
"Where did you go, princess? The team said you vanished into the thin air, and they hadn’t been able to reach you," Maverick said.
"I am sorry, my dear hubby. Things turned out like that," I said.
I wanted to tell him how I ended up disconnecting from the team but didn’t want to jeopardize the security of the rogue head since he trusted enough and sighed.

"What is going on, beautiful? Please tell what you ant by knowing my family. Are they still alive? Do they know I am alive? Do they even want ? Have they sent you? Did you et them?" I saw worry and hope in his eyes.
I sighed.
Probably, I would’ve acted the sa had I found out even a single mber of my family was alive, and I would’ve done anything in my power to reach them as quickly as possible.
And thus, I wasn’t going to be the bad guy here and give him false hopes.
"Nothing is sure, Axile. If my guesses are right, things will work. Are you willing to trust this one ti and co with where I take you? Please. I promise nothing will happen to you, and I will protect you with my life," I said.
Before Axile could answer anything, his n Vincent and Alok walked forward and scowled at .
"Sir, you shouldn’t go with her. While we were the ones who got the information on her and told you to go ahead with your plans to woo her, now she belongs to that cunning h beast Alpha. Who knows what she has in mind," Alok said.
I nipped at my nails.
I know it was hard for the rogues to trust from where they were standing.

As much as this was vital for because it was the perfect revenge against Prince Ethan, I wouldn’t play a card that didn’t belong to entirely.
Whether Axile was willing to take the risk and co with or choose to stay where he was and be content with half-truths and lies was in his hands only.
I could only help him and step forward with his complete trust.
I walked so distance and was about to step out of the pit to walk to our team, who had accompanied because I knew they must be growing anxious when Axile held my hand.
"I trust you," Axile said, and I smiled at him.

"I will be waiting, beautiful. I trust you with my life," Axile comforted , probably to dissipate any doubt I had after hearing his man’s words. I smiled at him.

"Luna, where did you go?" Bora rushed to and held my hands, making smile in guilt.
"I am fine. The rogues had another way to et . Thank you for staying here and providing with comfort and security. I was able to et him with an easy mind because of you guys," I looked at them proudly, and they smiled in return.
"I have so business at the cafe where I used to work. Would it be okay for you guys to co with there and wait for a few minutes?" I asked them.
None of them objected to my requests, and I smiled in response before sitting inside the car we had parked at the forest’s entrance.
Once we reached there, I walked inside the cafe, which Alina imdiately turned into our eting zone without affecting the original world.
