’Val, are you sure about this?’ Aurora asked before she furrowed her brows.

’Why does it feel like I am asking you this question more than half of the ti?’ She asked , and I shrugged.

How would I know why she keeps on asking if I am sure about sothing or not when she knows if I am here, I am definitely doing it?

I hid behind the tree, bending down into the bush as I looked at the Alpha pack, wanting to see what he was up to tonight.

’You are not really curious about him. We clearly heard that he and his team aren’t going to be in the pack tonight. They are looking for so kind of evidence for so kind of act,’ Aurora said, her words making feel caught already.

Was he really thinking about taking over the throne or sothing after the death of the main royal family?

I was about to move when I heard the soldiers talk.

"I understand what you are talking about. It was truly horrific. That’s what I am talking about. Guess, why isn’t our alpha in the pack tonight? Our team has found the link to the place and they have gone there to give those rogues a fitting reply."

The guard said, and I froze in my place.

’Rrrrrr!’ Aurora growled inside as her protective instinct grew, and I widened my eyes when that growl actually left my mouth.

It was a good thing I hadn’t entered much deeper and was lurking near the borders only.

’Aurora, you fool!’ I growled as I turned around and saw around 10 pack soldiers running in my direction.

Left with no choice, I transford into my cat form and ran as far as I could to save my ass.

’I am sorry,’ Aurora apologized, not eting my gaze.

She wasn’t sorry at all. It was clear from her body language, and I sighed.

I know what she was feeling at the mont.

It was a feeling of Deja Vu hitting her that really got to her.

I still regret that day.

’Let’s go,’ Aurora said, and I raised my brows.

’Go where?’ I asked her.

I kind of had an idea of what she was talking about, but I didn’t want to believe it. She can’t be serious.

Didn’t she hear the guards? Alpha Maverick and his team were already there and handling the case.

What did she want to do? Go there and get caught?

’I want you to correct what you couldn’t all this ti,’ She said and I gulped.

Though I was a risk lover myself, for so reason, I did not feel like this was a good decision.

If even one rogue recognized , things would be tough to handle, especially when I am now working for the royals too.

’Are you sure about it? It’s like so far and even if we leave with the bike, it will take us one hour. Also, didn’t you say I should be holding back on adventure and -’

’Are you going to do it or not? Don’t tell you are going to act like a coward,’ Aurora said and I took a deep breath.

She knows very well where to hit to get a reaction out of for sure.

I closed my eyes as I saw all the soldiers looking around for before they discussed among themselves and left one by one, not before looking back one last ti.

I jumped down from the tree I was hiding at before evening my hair, I an my fur.

’Are you leaving?’ Aurora asked, and I smiled bitterly.

’No, shit Sherlock. Just rember if sothing happens to us after that, it’s all on you,’ I said to her and she nodded her head as if she would really be able to handle everything without even changing.

I swear she finds all the ways to get into trouble.
