"Tyler," I smiled at him before stepping close to him until we were almost neck to neck, looking him straight in the eyes.
He looked at , his expression, wary, and I enjoyed this wariness.
"Do you really believe that I won’t do anything to you just because you are a visiting alpha of this pack? Don’t forget I am the sa rowdy girl who rejected you, shaming you in front of everyone. Or wait, do you want to tell everyone I am the girl who did that?" I asked him, and he glared at .
He raised his hand and grabbed my neck, making chuckle.
Oh god, why was I feeling like his presence was only triggering the psychotic side of mine?
"Stop laughing like a maniac and answer my fucking question! What the heck was that Alpha doing, going in your room like this and why did he stay for so long? What did you guys do?" Tyler snarled, his hold tightening around my throat and I chuckled even louder.
It was a good thing we were in seclusion or this would’ve been hard to explain to the onlookers.
I tilted my head before without thinking twice, I pulled out the wolfsbane-laced dagger from my back pocket and plunged it straight into the hand that was choking .
I smiled when I saw his eyes widening as he looked at in utter shock, satisfying .
"What happened, Tyler? Not choking anymore? I warned you to not cross because next ti we et, you won’t be my best friend or mate. You will only remain soone who betrayed . I honestly didn’t want to harm you because I didn’t want any controversies, but weren’t you testing your luck?" I asked before I pushed him back when he writhed in pain.
I pushed the dagger deeper, making Tyler gasp as he realized that I didn’t stab him in one place but in two places at the sa ti so he wouldn’t have ti to take this dagger and attack again.
I looked at his side where my second dagger was. Lucky for him I didn’t plunge it deeper. Neither was it laced with any kind of wolfsbane nor was the dagger plunged in his heart or he would’ve t the moon goddess for the sins he committed before his engagent.
"Take this as a warning, Tyler. Next ti I won’t be so lenient. Besides, what I do with other alphas, that’s none of your business. I am living here with his permit, under his care, of course, he got to take care of because of the Council," I said to save Alpha Maverick’s ass so this bastard doesn’t go around spreading rumors about us.
"Do you even know what attacking an alpha ans? I can literally kill you for -" Tyler stopped talking when I stuffed his mouth with the candy I had in my pocket.
"It’s not even that bad. Stop yapping like an annoying baby. You don’t need to catch all of my sister’s habits," I said and was about to turn around when my pupils dilated.
"If you think you can -" Tyler started, but I couldn’t concentrate on anything he was talking about.
Alpha Maverick was sowhere near us.

I looked at Tyler before looking around hastily.
"Where are you looking? I am talking to -"
I didn’t even give him any chance to speak before pushing him into the janitor’s closet.
Before Alpha Maverick could walk to where we were and sll the blood and figure out it was who attacked an Alpha and got angry, I rushed to the direction from where his sll was coming.
As soon as I turned around the corner, I bumped into a hard chest and the familiar scent imdiately made realize who it was.
"Easy there, Mitsuki. Don’t tell you missed my kiss already," He said, and I glared at him.
There was no way I was missing his kiss at this mont of crisis. I an, it was true that I wouldn’t mind his kiss... ahem... ahem.. well you got the point.
However, I couldn’t let him go near the place where I stuffed Tyler either.
"Wait. Why do I sll blood?" He raised his face in the air and left with no choice, I quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him back towards the room where I was earlier.
"Valencia, what’s wrong-" he started and I gulped before forcing him on the wall.
"There is sothing I wanted to ask you," I said and he quirked his brows at as if he didn’t believe
Heck, even I didn’t believe in myself. What the hell did I want to ask him anyway?
Usually, my brain is full of questions, but now that I need those powers so badly, why is my brain not braining anymore!!! What the hell?! I growled at myself.

I looked down at my feet, completely baffled by my wolf’s actions. This animal is going to be the death of one day.

The amusent in his eyes made feel shy even more and I tried to avert my gaze.
However, he chuckled. He removed my hand from around him before picking in his arms, his sudden actions surprising as I wrapped my legs around his torso instinctively.
"What are you -" I started but he smiled before rubbing the tip of his nose on mine.
"What am I going to do with you? How the fuck can soone be so cute without even trying?" He groaned in my ears before nibbling my earlobe, making my heart skip a beat.
"Be mine already," He breathed heavily before tightening his hold on my body.
"Though you didn’t have anything to ask, I indeed have a question for you. Can you leave your place? I an the shared place with Carl, can you leave it?" He asked, and I furrowed my brows.
What does he an? Is he asking to go back into the lake house? But didn’t they all agree that it was dangerous for because the chances of getting kidnapped were much higher there? What was he exactly planning here?
I looked at him with a suspicious gaze and he chuckled.
"I don’t understand. What do you an if I can leave my shared space?" I asked to clarify my doubts.

Rather than answering , he nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, running his nose up and down my skin, and making take a shaky breath.
"Co live with ," he whispered into my ears, and I froze for a second.
However, I snapped out of it soon.
"Have you lost your fucking mind?" I asked the alpha who smirked at before he turned our position in a way that my body was plastered on the wall now and he smiled at .
"You are right. I have lost my mind, Mitsuki. Now only you can fix my mind," he grinned.
I didn’t say anything to him, just stared at him and when he realized I wasn’t going to say anything, he sighed before kissing my forehead.
"Don’t worry about such things, Mitsuki. No matter how much I want you, yearn for you, desire you, or am aroused for you, I won’t do anything wrong or force myself on you even in my wildest dreams. You are too precious to . I am..." He paused, his gaze was full of affection looking at as if he wanted to say sothing so much more but was controlling himself.
He sighed after so ti before gulping and putting down.
He tucked my hair behind my ears before cupping my cheeks.
"When I said co live with , I don’t an to ask you to co into my pack and live with us. There is this apartnt in the city under my na. It’s a pretty decent apartnt and...." he blushed.
I raised my brows at him.
He wasn’t the kind of person who usually blushes. Rather he has a habit of making blush all the ti because of his unhinged comnts about us.
"Only I have access to the apartnt. It’s a pretty secure one and no one can enter until allowed from inside once locked. It might help you," he said and I looked at him, my lips twitching.
He was asking why the hell I was so cute. Has he even looked at himself?
"No," I said, rolling my eyes and he pressed his lips into a thin line.
"Got it," He nodded to himself.
Just like that? Did he agree? Why was it so hard to believe?
"Aren’t you going to say anything else?" I asked and he smirked.
He looked at before pinching my chin.
"I said I got it because I understood you won’t co there willingly. It only ans I got to kidnap you," Alpha Maverick smiled at innocently as if that was the most normal thing to say and I shook my head at him, feeling a smile itch on my lips.
