When Diana was sowhat lost in the kiss, Hippolyta approached and loudly interrupted them. "Diana, let him go. Chris, I warn you not to have any ideas about Diana anymore, or I will kill you!"
"Mother!" Diana stood in front of Chris. "I need Chris' help! Ares is too powerful, and I need greater strength. "No! I won't let you harm Chris!" Diana stepped forward and spread her arms, protecting Chris behind her, like a mother hen protecting her chick.
Hippolyta found this rebellious act extrely painful. Her daughter had been kidnapped!
"You! Diana, how dare you defy my orders! You..."
Bang! Before Queen Hippolyta could say anything more, Antiope, fearing she might do sothing foolish, swiftly struck her from behind, rendering her unconscious.
Catching the unconscious Queen Hippolyta, Antiope reluctantly said, "We must find a way to make her accept Chris. Themyscira is already in a precarious situation, and your mother is so stubborn. We need to co up with a plan!"
Diana felt quite helpless. On one hand, she considered her sisters, and on the other hand, she thinks about her mother. It's difficult for her to make a choice.
Chris lowered his head and said, "Maybe I should leave Themyscira so that you won't be put in a difficult position..."
"Yes, we can leave. Chris and I will leave, defeat Ares, and then co back!" Diana said, feeling lost.
