Jacob sat in the command center, with holographic displays floating above sleek consoles.

Anita stood by his side, while the other officers moved with focus, monitoring systems, navigation, and weapons through intuitive controls that responded to voice and touch.

"What do you think about this set of recruits?" Jacob asked Anita.

Thanks to her abilities that granted her a high level of IQ, he sotis relied on her sharp senses and intuitions.

"Well, from what I’ve seen... they’re more promising than the last. If they succeed in the tower, they’ll make a good addition to our fighting force. However..." Anita paused, as though contemplating.

"What?"

"However, I’m not sure if they’ll be able to work as a team," she completed, her lenses reflecting the blue rays from the ship’s control board.

"Hmm... if that’s the only issue, then I believe we can find a way to work on it. But for now, let’s see the success rate after the tower," Jacob sighed.

"Nectar, set course out of Nebulas."

{Affirmative, sir... Sir, what location are we heading for?}

A map spread wide in front of Jacob, showing several realms spread across the Nebulas.

"We’re heading for Demiurge."

{Noted, sir. Setting course for Demiurge.}

A low hum went through the entire ship as the space cruiser rose into the air.

The engines roared to life, steam escaping from the nozzles.

Beyond the command deck lay the living quarters—compact but comfortable.

Each pod-style room had a small window showing the vastness of space, soft lighting to help rest, and personal storage tucked neatly into the walls.

Kieran stood in front of his room with the number thirteen written boldly on top of it.

"Thank you, Neon," he said as soon as he arrived in front of his room door.

{You’re most certainly welco.}

The AI replied with a warm voice.

{All boarders! The space cruiser has taken course for Demiurge. We will arrive at our destination in twenty minutes.}

Neon’s voice echoed through the entire ship.

"Twenty minutes? That’s really fast. I’ll have to prepare my suit quickly," Kieran thought to himself.

He went inside his room, sitting on the soft bed.

He pulled out the system interface again, tapping on the {suit design tab}.

Kieran knew he couldn’t rush the mont, as the suit could possibly be a determinant for his survival in the tower.

Although he had Alexa, he still preferred having his own strength.

So using her was only going to be a secondary option.

’If I’m thinking about survival... then what’s the best form of suit?’

Kieran thought, looking at the glowing interface.

He needed sothing that was durable.

Sothing that was light and would swiftly let him attack his enemies—at the sa ti giving him an opening to escape when needed.

Of course, he wasn’t naive enough to think he could defeat all his enemies... at least not at the mont.

’...And not with the threat of the demigods still roaming... I need sothing that can let blend in.’

As he thought of it, an idea sparked in his mind.

Kieran quickly inputted his design into the system.

It was easy to use, since Neon was made with a user-friendly interface—simple and easy to understand.

In no ti, Kieran had fully constructed his perfect design for his suit.

"Alright, I’m done!" Kieran said with a long sigh as he pressed the {create} button on the interface.

He barely had to wait for a minute before the next notification popped up in front of him.

{Congrats! Your suit model has been created. Please head to the battle suit room to pick up your suit.}

"Hmm, I’m curious to see what you made," Alexa said. If there was anything that amused her since she began her journey with Kieran, it was all the advanced technologies she had seen in his world.

Throughout her years of living, this was the first ti she was able to witness the magical abilities that all these iron-made devices could perform.

" too," Kieran said, standing from the bed.

He quickly left his room to go to the battle suit room.

Just as he ca out, closing the door behind him, right next to him—he heard another door close as well.

He turned his head, surprised to find Henry.

Henry’s eyes lit up the mont he saw him.

"Wow, we’re neighbours? What a coincidence," he said with a warm smile on his face.

"A real coincidence..." Just as Kieran was replying to him, the third door clicked closed, and a girl stepped out.

Her gaze t his, and instantly her body stiffened.

She quickly looked away, dashing out without even checking the direction.

Henry, who watched what happened, was left in confusion.

While Kieran simply shook his head, as if watching a clown perform.

Natasha was known for how enclosed she was—hardly did she talk to anyone—so her actions ca as a surprise to him.

’Seems like they’ve t before,’ he thought.

"Do you know her by chance?"

"Nah, maybe she has a loose nut," Kieran waved his hands dismissively.

Although he still had his doubts, Henry didn’t want to push further.

Instead, he changed the topic.

"Seems like you’re heading sowhere?"

"Yes, I want to go get my battle suit," Kieran replied bluntly.

"Ah, that’s great. It’s the sa for as well... we could go together, if you’re fine with it."

Kieran simply shrugged his shoulders.

’There’s no point. We’ll still follow the sa way,’ Kieran thought to himself.

He slid his hands into his pockets as he walked down the corridor, Henry following beside him.

"You’re an SSS-ranked talent awakened. I was wondering—what is your talent?" Henry asked as he closed the distance between them.

Kieran didn’t reply imdiately.

"My abilities? Well, I’m a fire user," he stated calmly.

’I don’t want anyone to know I can summon beasts... at least for now,’ he thought to himself as they continued their walk to the battle suit room.

anwhile, opposite the direction they had followed, a figure could be seen holding onto the wall for support.

Her breathing was heavy.

"Why is his room close to mine? I just want to stay away from that brat!"

Ever since she found out that he was an SSS-ranked awakened, she no longer felt comfortable around him.

After their first discussion, she could tell from the way he talked that he had so kind of problem with the origin families.

And since they didn’t et in the best way, she was afraid that he could carry that aggression onto her.

"I just hope I don’t get to see him again," she thought, steadying her breath.

"Let go get my battle suit."
