"That’s not ... It’s not possible," Kieran blurted out. He had to defend himself, but even he found it quite hard to believe himself.

And he could understand the confusion the others had.

He could understand why Oma had given him such a look of disgust.

He completely understood everything, but how was he going to explain to them all that what they had seen was a lie?

Besides, it was popularly known—seeing was indeed believing.

Jacob was first caught by the sudden surprise of Nellyx’s talent class.

’It’s an uncharted class talent!’

Talents were grouped into four, each based on what could be done with them.

They had elental talents, and two of the origin families dealt in that.

One was the Nelkon family, where all their descendants from the main branch were always blessed with talents related to the fire elent.

The second was the Hilmond family, which had control over the earth elent.

Aside from the elental talents was the enhancent-type talents.

These talents were ones that could heighten the power of any part of the body.

They granted inhuman speed, strength, stamina, vitality, heightened sense of hearing, and much more.

There was also the summon-type and the uncharted class talents.

Uncharted talents were very popular due to their rarity, since they could rarely occur twice.

And the strongest of all the families—a family detached from society at large—the Ravenspare family, each mber had unique uncharted talents.

However, they never accepted outsiders into their family like the other two, and they seed to be the most discreet and secretive of all the families.

They never really interfered in any matter, but they commanded great authority in the hunter society as a whole.

Because of that very family, those who wielded uncharted-type talents were highly revered in society, and they were sought out for—of course, with regards to what ability they managed to awaken.

"So what you are insinuating is that my abilities lie?" Nellyx asked with a cold voice.

She had trusted her abilities for years, and never once had she experienced a failure from them.

Kieran’s case, to her, was no different.

She had gone around the entire school trying to trace where exactly Jane had run to, but she was even more shocked to see that it wasn’t as she thought.

Rather, Kieran had sohow managed to trick them all—or that was what it looked like.

"So what would you do in this situation? Want to burn them all?"

’Do you solve all your problems with flas?’ Kieran felt helpless. His summon didn’t seem to be the smartest.

’Even after living for several years... Seems her pride blocked her brain,’ Kieran thought with a bittersweet smile.

"These humans always act so stupid, and always feel so highly of themselves," Alexa said.

From her words, Kieran could tell that she must’ve had an encounter in the past with humans, and it didn’t seem to be the best.

Despite that, he couldn’t let her burn down the entire school.

He was curious.

’Miss Nellyx seems to be so convinced that her abilities show exactly what happened in this place, so even if I didn’t do it, then it could only an that soone is trying to put into this ss—but why?’

He easily got pissed, but he could also be cool-headed at tis, and this ti was one of them.

Rather than get angry, he was more curious to know why the person would have done such a thing to him.

And it didn’t seem to be just anybody.

’Since Miss Jane was still in the school after I was thrown into the realm gate, then there’s no way soone would have used her face without dealing with her first... Miss Jane did this, but why?’

It was crazy—how could soone who had helped him through everything beco suddenly hellbent on killing him?

"If that’s the case, then explain to them," Alexa chid, hearing his thoughts.

’Does it look like any of them still believes ?’

He could see the looks on their faces as they awaited his next words.

In all honesty, even he didn’t know what else he was ant to say to convince them that he hadn’t done it.

"Do you think I would do such a thing and remain in the school compound?" Kieran asked calmly.

His anger was still there; however, he knew that this was a delicate situation, and it had to be treated like one.

He didn’t want to cause much more misunderstanding.

"Whatever your reason was, it was a mistake on your end, and you have been surrounded... You cannot escape. Surrender yourself this mont," Nellyx said. She was trying her best to avoid an actual conflict.

’If he was able to hold the Dean’s blade with his bare hands, then he can’t be weak at all...’ she looked at him wearily.

The telepathic communication device by the side of her neck shone brightly as she gave orders to those on the outside to be ready.

She had arranged for all the strongest teachers to be gathered inside, and the others were to remain outside, just in case anything was to happen.

Everything was planned prior to his coming.

Kieran could see the arrangent that they had made, but he had no intention of running.

’Jane, you’ll have a lot of things to explain when we et again,’ he thought angrily as he stood in the center of the teachers.

He could escape with Alexa’s help, but that would only show that he was guilty of the accused cri.

It would put all the argunts he had made so far to complete waste.

Even though they didn’t say it, he could tell that his words had sowed seeds of doubt in their minds.

Regardless, he was in a tight sit, and it was because of the person he once used to love.

anwhile, while Kieran was left to face all the problems, a figure stood on a grassy plain, her hands tucked into the pockets of the coat.

She took a long drag of her cigarette, looking into the distance.

"I guess it’s ti... May the demigods play," she chuckled.
