Be advised: the early archives—specifically Codices II through VII—have undergone refinent. Fabrisse Kestovar, Apprentice Calibrator and Reluctant Protagonist of this increasingly unstable chronicle, has been afforded an upgrade (no, not in charisma—perish the thought).

His cognition now bears sharper edge and structure: improved analytical faculties, more distinct patterns of deduction, and a few neuroquirks he was always due, such as mild photic sensitivity, habitual cheek-biting, and the rhythmic tapping of his satchel as though interrogating it for forbidden truths. He would never admit it, of course.

Furthermore, there are now enhanced litho-logical observations regarding the Eidralith, and Fabrisse’s entirely reasonable suspicions as to how such a thing might operate beneath all the dramatic glow and screaming nonsense.

Translation: I have updated the earlier chapters to sharpen Fabrisse’s analytical thinking and mold more distinct reasoning and cognitive patterns for him, as well as adding quirks he’d reasonably have, like light sensitivity and the tendency to tap the side of his satchel and bite the side of his cheek.

The first chapters (2~7) now have so cool (and rock-related) insights regarding the Eidralith and how Fabrisse suspects it might reasonably work. Feel free to re-read them to refresh your knowledge.
