“Yes, she’s Lady Shanzha in the movies, but in real life, her na is Feng Qingyun. She’s the one I want to spend my life with.”
Rong Yuan raised his uninjured arm and gave a thumbs-up. “Brother, you’re impressive, beating to it! Mom and Dad are going to be so happy. “Thank you, big brother.” Li Jiaoyang flashed a faint smile, without ntioning his girlfriend’s plan to study abroad, which would delay their wedding.
He had always known he wasn’t abandoned by his parents. It was just the chaos of war that made everyone powerless, so he quickly accepted Rong Yuan and their previously unknown parents.
“Since you’re calling big brother now, little brother, I won’t hold back.” Rong Yuan looked at him warmly. “Mom and Dad have been looking for you all this ti, but the vast sea of people made it impossible to find even a trace over twenty-so years. Li Jiaoyang responded solemnly, “Don’t worry, big brother, I’ll go, and I should. But I’d like to stay here for a few more days to spend ti with Yunyun. This is my first visit to pay respects to my sister and brother-in-law.”

“Before that, though, you should call Mom first! The sooner she knows, the sooner she can be happy.”
Li Jiaoyang agreed, “Okay, I’ll trouble my sister and brother-in-law in a little while to help connect the call to our mother.”
