Chapter 1550: Chapter 1550 Completely Settled 2

Feng Qingxue thought for a mont, glanced at her watch, and noted it was almost the soldiers’ break ti. Shen Qing should be available.

So, she said to the young nurse Liu Yan, who was about to eat but stood watching the commotion, “Xiaoliu, please run to my house and let Comrade Ye Xiangqian know to co over. Then inform Comrade Lu Jiang to send soone to invite Comrade Shen Qing. This involves both families’ children, so all the parents must be present. We can’t rely on the words of just one side.”

When Feng Qingxue made her rounds in the wards, she was often accompanied by this young nurse, who also handled tasks like administering IVs, injections, and bandaging Feng Qingxue’s patients. Liu Yan promptly agreed and quickly ran off.

“Just call Ye Xiangqian. Why call Shen Qing?” Su ixiang said unhappily.

Feng Qingxue smiled slightly. “Comrade Shen Feng is in such severe pain; how could we not call Shen Qing? It’s much easier for male comrades to handle certain matters. We must also be mindful of appearances.”

Su ixiang remained silent, her face tense.

“When are you going to examine ? My head’s killing ,” Shen Feng said.

Feng Qingxue looked down at him. “Why so impatient?”

“I want to go ho to eat at, big at!” Thinking of the at buns he had that morning, Shen Feng swallowed hard.

“Alright, let’s go in and have Grandpa Hong examine you. Last ti, it was Grandpa Hong who wrote you the examination order and confird that other than the bruises on your face, there was nothing else wrong with you.” Feng Qingxue reached out to support Doctor Hong.

Doctor Hong was an old military doctor who had fought campaigns across the south and north. He only retired from the battlefield when he grew older, receiving division-level treatnt benefits.

As Doctor Hong was taking Shen Feng’s temperature, Lu Jiang and Ye Xiangqian arrived first.

“What’s going on? The young nurse didn’t explain clearly.” Lu Jiang’s face was stern. Since taking office, he’d been busy throughout the sumr, his skin tanned dark. His stern expression alone could frighten children to tears.

At least, Shen Feng’s face turned pale in fright.

Su ixiang imdiately said, “Don’t scare my son!”

Feng Qingxue softly remarked, “Our Lu Jiang was born this way. He’s used to giving orders while working, exuding a natural authority without trying to intimidate Comrade Shen Feng.”

Su ixiang snorted and said to Doctor Hong, “Are you done yet? How long does it take to asure a temperature?”

Doctor Hong was a bit annoyed. “Are you the doctor, or am I? I already told you your son has no issues, but you didn’t believe . Now, while taking his temperature, you’re making all this noise. Don’t you know hospitals are supposed to be quiet?”

“My son has a splitting headache!” Su ixiang snapped loudly, as if speaking forcefully would add weight to her argunt.

“Your son is not sick!” Doctor Hong glanced at the thermoter, then checked Shen Feng’s complexion, lifted his eyelids, and felt his pulse. Everything indicated he was perfectly fine. “From observing, slling, asking, and feeling, you can tell at first glance whether soone is ill. His complexion is normal. He doesn’t have a fever. How does he look sick?”

He ca from a Traditional Chinese dicine Family and had first learned herbal redies before transitioning to Western dicine later on.

“Perhaps he bumped into sothing. Doctor Hong, could you please examine him more thoroughly?” Feng Qingxue glanced at Su ixiang and asked him.

Su ixiang, exasperated, snapped at Doctor Hong, “My son has a headache, a headache! It’s the aftereffect of his fight with Ye Yan. It has nothing to do with the temperature you’re asuring. Why is it so difficult to get you to examine him?”
