“Why did you bring so much stuff? Didn’t we say before that everything you need is here and there is no need to bring anything?” They spoke about this clearly on the phone before she ca.
Actually, Dai Jinhai originally wanted his grandson to pick her up personally, but Nan Fei did not agree, so he had to give up on that idea.
“My parents packed everything, I don’t know how they did it, it seed like the more they packed the more stuff there was. I was scared when I saw how many things there were when we were ready to head out.” Nan Fei shrugged helplessly, she was actually terrified of bringing too much luggage when traveling.
However, her parents were already worried about her bringing Jiang Yang to such a distant place as the Imperial City, if they didn’t prepare thoroughly, they would probably lose sleep over it.

Actually, Nan Fei didn’t want to hear him call her auntie at all.

Dai Yifan reluctantly shifted his gaze from Jiang Yang, shaking his head; “Nothing, I was just wondering how to address your little brother.” In actuality, he was startled when he saw Jiang Yang at first.
Because he resembled his good friend Wei Qin far too much.

They got on Dai Yifan’s car after leaving the train station, heading towards the military compound. Mainly because Dai Jinhai’s eldest brother and his family lived there. Dai family was a traditional one; they liked staying together as it was lively, plus they had enough rooms in their large house.
However, as the school year was approaching, Dai Jinhai was considering moving to Yanlan Qijin, his property situated near the college area. It was close to both the art institute and the military academy which made commuting convenient.
When they reached the military compound, the vehicle slowed down, just as it did, a car ca from behind and overtook them, entering the gate before them.
Nan Fei, who had been looking out of the window, saw the stunning profile of the man who was sitting in the co-driver seat of the other car. She was startled and quickly lowered her gaze, fearful of being seen by the person inside the other vehicle.
What a coincidence!
She had just arrived and hadn’t even had the ti to set her luggage down when she ran into Huo Beijiang.
Feeling a little guilty, Nan Fei feared being discovered by Huo Beijiang.
