Chapter 1686: Chapter 1705 Waiting

She really hit the nail on the head, and the others nodded in agreent. No matter what, the first thing to do is to get checked at the hospital.

“Alright!” Ning Di finally couldn’t take it anymore and spoke up, “Everyone should disperse first! Sister-in-law just got back and needs rest. We’ll go to the hospital tomorrow.”

Nan Fei nodded. After passing through the combat zone and boarding the ship, Tu Cheng wasted no ti arranging for a plane to send them away like they were a plague. They hadn’t had a chance to rest properly along the way, and she’s now sustaining herself purely on willpower.

“Sure, sure, sure!” Fu Xinwu quickly nodded, “Going to the hospital tomorrow is fine.”

“Sister Nan Fei, I’ll take you ho.” Jiang Yang finally erged from the crowd surrounding her, the slim boy gave Nan Fei a warm smile as he said in a lodious voice, “Sister Nan Fei, I missed you.”

“Jiang Yang!” Nan Fei, who had been maintaining a calm deanor, could no longer keep her composure. She stepped forward a few paces and hugged the boy tightly, “I missed you too, missed you so very much!”

Gongxi Yunqi stood at a distance, watching Nan Fei surrounded by people, with his thin lips tightly pressed together and an inscrutable expression on his face.

“I’m really envious!” Chen Jing intentionally spoke in a relaxed tone, “Right? You’re envious too, right?”

“No!” Gongxi Yunqi turned his head and said to Chen Jing, “It’s nothing! You’d get a similar welco when you return to your hotown.” But in his heart, he knew that what he said wasn’t quite right! There are different kinds of welcos.

The people surrounding Nan Fei, anyone you pick out from them, are influential figures even in a place like the Imperial City. Although their Gongxi Family is wealthy enough, it still doesn’t compare.

“True enough.” Chen Jing smiled, “Thank you all for bringing back. I won’t disturb Jiang Nanfei any longer, I’m leaving first!”

Gongxi Yunqi nodded and said nothing more. He just continued to look in Nan Fei’s direction, neither disturbing her nor planning to leave just yet. He was waiting, waiting for Nan Fei to turn around, waiting to leave with her.

Gongxi Yunqi was very patient, standing still as if rooted, not even noticing when Chen Jing left.

Nan Fei got into Jiang Yang’s car, declining Ning Di’s offer to escort her. He Shasha and Fu Xinwu also squeezed in. Fortunately, Jiang Yang’s car was large enough to barely fit everyone. Just as the car was about to start, Nan Fei suddenly rembered she’d forgotten soone.

“Wait! There’s still Gongxi Yunqi.”

Ning Di stood outside the car and said, “I’ll personally take him ho.”

Nan Fei smiled and refused, “No need! Please have him get in the car, we’ll drop him ho first.”

Ning Di didn’t say anything more, turning around to invite Gongxi Yun Qi.

“Gongxi Yunqi is here?” He Shasha sounded quite excited, “Wow! I haven’t seen him in a long ti. I heard he’s doing very well in M country.”

“Who’s Gongxi Yunqi?” Fu Xinwu asked, confused.

“He was a high school classmate of mine and Nan Fei’s.”

“Oh!” Fu Xinwu nodded subconsciously, then realized sothing wasn’t right, “Wait! How did your high school classmate end up coming back with Nan Fei? Did he also go to Kannaya?”

“Yes!” Nan Fei said, “We really owe it to him this ti.”

At this point, not just Fu Xinwu, but even He Shasha’s expression turned grim. She looked at Nan Fei with a woeful expression, her inner child taphorically hopping up and down in protest. She wanted to say Nan Fei was being biased, but upon seeing Nan Fei’s face, she couldn’t utter a word of reproach.

Instead, she dragged Fu Xinwu out of the car to make space for Gongxi Yunqi. Since they ca in their own car, they could follow along on their return journey as well.
