Ye Qian was walking to his house with fast steps but not too fast, only enough for a normal human.

Ye Qian knew that there were those n who were staying around their house doing so security stuff but why were they doing this he didn't quite understand.

But he knew that they would definitely be here to harm his family.

If they were then they would have tried to do so when he had left the two little girls alone in the at shop while he went to the room behind it.

He shook his head and then thought of another possibility.

He knew that Yuan ng's family was very big and powerful and could be called a giant.

But since she didn't want to talk about it Ye Qian had also never pestered about that thing.

The one he loved was Yuan ng and not her family so it didn't matter whether she was soone of a powerful background.

And now that he was no less than a god-like figure even on the Earth the matter was nothing to him.

Ye Qian reached by the corner of his house and looked around.

The guards were really good at acting and hiding.

Though they couldn't hide anything from him it was enough for no one else to even get a slight suspicion about them.

Ye Qian opened the gate and entered without giving it another thought.

"CLICK"

He carefully opened the door of the house as to not disturb soone who was sitting on the sofa with her eyes dozing.

Ye Qian had a smile on his face as he opened the door and walked in.

"CREEEAAAKKKK"

"Huh?"

With the creaking of the door, Grandma Yan who had her eyes drowsy but was still sitting on the sofa all the while was woken up.

She glanced at Ye Qian who was keeping his shoes in the rack and waited for him to co in.

"Mom, why are you awake at late night?"

Ye Qian asked as he walked to her and sat by her side.

"Haha, I was just worried about you my child."

Grandma Yan chuckled lightly but there was a tinge of worry in her eyes as she carefully looked at Ye Qian from head to toe.

"I am completely fine; co I will take you to the room."

Ye Qian took her hand in his and patted while smiling and then tucked so of her hair which was falling on her face while she dozed.

"Hmm."

Grandma Yan nodded while taking his hand to get up while he supported her.

"Hey, you think your mother is in her 90's or sothing, supporting like this, I am still young."

Saying that she slapped his hand after she stood up and growled.

But there was a smile on her lips as she was happy that her son was still the sa warm-hearted and sincere like he always was.

But she still thought that there was more to all this than what Ye Qian in front of her was like now.

When he walked out of the house before, she felt that the person whom she was looking at was not her son but soone else.

There was a completely different aura surrounding him but right now he was her Little Qi.

She didn't know if she should believe her heart or her instincts.

One was completely conflicting with the other.

"Alright mom, do you want to get you to the room?"

Ye Qian asked while seeing her acting spoiled again.

Ye Qian felt that all the won he knew had this childlike behaviour, once they would want sothing to be done and then the next mont they would not want it.

It was completely out of his imagination and thought of how he must behave and act according to them, but then they would even get more angry with him.

"Now that you have got your wife, you don't have your mom in your heart. Sniff... god this is what an old lady like should suffer in her old age, even my son doesn't want to help to the bed."

Grandma Yan wiped her non-existent tears while her head low and sniffed a few tis while mumbling.

Ye Qian almost wanted to roll his eyes and he almost did it when Grandma Yan snickered.

"Little Qi, won't you send your mom to bed?"

Hearing her Ye Qian couldn't stop himself and rolled his eyes.

His mom really liked to act spoilt sotis and completely different the other tis.

"Hmm."

But being her son he could only nod and then take her hand while walking slowly with her.

"Mom walk slowly you might fall there is a stair here."

"CLAP"

Ye Qian wanted to warn her about the stair but all he received was a slap on his shoulder with a sneer.

'Your mother is not so old to be not able to see even a stair."

"Hmm"

He didn't say anything.

Grandma Yan then continued.

"Little Qi, why is your hand so warm, my child?"

She asked while she pulled Ye Qian and placed her hand on his forehead.

"Are you sick?"

She asked with her eyes widened.

"You have to go out while wearing this thin cloth in such cold weather, co let's get so warm tea for you."

Saying that she pulled Ye Qian to the kitchen.

No matter how old you get, if you get sick or injured, your mother would be worried for you and would do anything to get you well soon.

Ye Qian smiled while being pulled by Grandma Yan and called out.

"Mom, don't worry I am not sick nor am I unwell. It's just my body is warm a bit, it will get back to normal after a while."

"Huh?"

Grandma Yan was confused as she looked at Ye Qian carefully. He was wearing a simple shirt with a small pocket.

Wait there is a bulge in his pocket.

She looked at it carefully with her eyes narrowed and saw two small eyes.
