Inside the vast royal bedchamber,
the atmosphere was utterly silent.
The dim candlelight flickered slightly, swaying with the night wind that slipped through the gaps.
"Chaotic qi flow, blood essence severely depleted... the overuse of energy has even damaged his foundation."
Elder Baru stood beside the bed, gently taking Chen Mo's pulse. He spoke slowly and seriously, word by word.
With each sentence, the expression on Queen dusa's face darkened even more.
"But his physique is excellent. There's also a mysterious power within his body helping him recover. It's not a grave injury. With proper rest, he'll be fine," Baru concluded as he straightened up.
Upon hearing this, Queen dusa quietly let out a sigh of relief—but her expression remained cold and indifferent.
Baru turned toward her. Seeing how pale and frail she looked, he asked with concern, "However, Your Majesty... you—"
"This Queen is fine." Queen dusa cut him off coldly, then said, "When will he wake up?"
"I'll give him a dicinal mixture shortly. He should regain consciousness soon."
Baru could already sense sothing unusual—Her Majesty was not only staying in the sa chamber as this human, but her tone carried a rare sense of urgency.
Could it be... that Her Majesty truly considers this human to be her own?
Baru didn't dare speculate further and kept his assumptions simple.
"Then hurry and administer the dicine," Queen dusa urged coldly.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Baru took out a small vial from his storage ring and carefully fed the contents to Chen Mo.
Just as Baru was about to ask what had happened, Queen dusa waved her hand dismissively.
"That's enough. You may leave."
Baru paused. Just as he turned, he caught a glimpse of the Green Lotus in Queen dusa's hand—he could feel the wild, unstable energy pulsing from it.
After a brief hesitation, he bowed. "Understood. I shall take my leave."
The mont Baru exited the chamber and the doors closed—
Queen dusa's elegant body suddenly gave out. She swayed and collapsed to the floor, finally unable to hold on any longer. She fell unconscious.
One hour later.
When Chen Mo awoke, he found himself lying in an enormous bedchamber.
The surroundings were familiar—it was Queen dusa's royal chamber.
His Dou Qi had been completely drained. As he sat up and prepared to activate the Tai Shang Hun Yuan Technique to replenish it, his gaze suddenly caught sothing—
Queen dusa was unconscious, collapsed at the foot of the bed.
"Your Majesty!"
Chen Mo's brows furrowed.
He climbed off the bed and, despite his weakness, carefully lifted her back onto it.
Only then did he realize: her chest, back, even her snake tail—were covered in over a dozen wounds.
The most severe were inflicted by the spirit of the Green Lotus Core Fla. So of the burn wounds were still bleeding.
Seeing her like this made his heart ache.
Still, these were manageable.
What truly pushed her to this state... was Hai Bodong.
Chen Mo's expression darkened.
He swore to himself—he would kill Hai Bodong.
With a grim expression, he retrieved so healing dicine from his storage ring. After a brief pause, he reached behind her and began to loosen her robe.
Her skin was pale as snow—seductive and captivating.
But Chen Mo had no ti to admire it. Only one thought filled his mind:
She needs treatnt.
He first cleaned the blood from her wounds, then sprinkled powdered dicine and gently applied healing balm.
With practiced care, he examined her back thoroughly to ensure all wounds were treated. Once they were dry, he gently turned Queen dusa over.
As he did so, the loosened robe naturally slipped off.
And what appeared before him was a sight beyond description.
Although Chen Mo's heart held no lust at this mont and his gaze remained clear, the scene still caused his blood to surge.
And right then—
Queen dusa's tightly shut eyes snapped open.
Her icy, furious gaze locked onto him.
Especially when she realized she was completely exposed before his eyes.
A cold, murderous intent surged in her gaze.
Cold sweat ford on Chen Mo's forehead.
But he quickly ca up with an idea.
Before she could react, he struck first—placing a palm on her uninjured waist, he said seriously:
"Don't move. I'm treating your wounds."
Without giving her ti to argue, he picked up the bottle and applied more powder to the edge of one of her deeper wounds, then followed with the healing balm in smooth, practiced strokes.
Queen dusa froze.
Yet her body instinctively trembled at the touch—her snow-white skin gradually flushed with a rosy hue.
Though her mind knew he was healing her, her prideful heart struggled with the fact that this man had seen her entire body.
Just as she was about to lash out and slap him across the face—
She suddenly heard him murmur:
"You're always so stubborn... Seeing you like this honestly hurts. I'd rather take all those wounds myself. My skin's thicker anyway."
Queen dusa froze completely.
Taking a deep breath, she slowly closed her eyes. Her long lashes trembled slightly. Her voice, soft and nearly inaudible, quivered with emotion:
"Mind your hands."
Chen Mo nodded silently. While he did like teasing her, now wasn't the ti. He had no intention of taking advantage of her in this state.
His gaze swept over the contours of her upper body.
Once those wounds were handled, he turned his attention to her snake tail.
Several of her purple scales had been torn off, and crimson blood still seeped from the wounds.
Chen Mo swapped to another jade bottle and carefully poured so white powder onto the injuries.
Stimulated by the powder, Queen dusa's brows knit tightly, and a soft, pained gasp escaped her delicate nose.
"Don't worry. It'll be over soon."
Chen Mo gave her a small smile as he evenly applied the powder, then carefully wrapped the wounds with bandages.
Finally, he pulled out a clean white robe from his storage ring and gently draped it over her enchanting figure.

Queen dusa's closed eyes fluttered slightly open, her gaze now tinged with a complicated emotion.
Chen Mo checked her pulse again.
He discovered that she had suffered severe internal injuries.
What she needed now—was a powerful source of energy.
Chen Mo frowned, wondering where he could find enough energy for her recovery.
Then his eyes drifted toward the base of the bed—
To the Green Lotus.
He picked it up, using it first to replenish a bit of his own Dou Qi. Then, carefully, he funneled a small stream of Dou Qi into it.
The Green Lotus trembled.
Its leaves slowly began to bloom.
A dazzling green glow burst from within.
Quickly, Chen Mo plucked a single fire lotus seed from its core and imdiately stopped inputting Dou Qi.
The lotus closed again.
Chen Mo was about to feed the seed to Queen dusa when he hesitated. Given the damage to her body, consuming it directly might worsen her condition.
His eyes narrowed. After a mont of deliberation, he clenched his jaw and swallowed the fire lotus seed himself.
Then, he extended a glowing finger to Queen dusa's lips and said softly:
"Suck."
