Die leaned against the palace wall, her breath uneven and her body glistening with fragrant sweat.

Her snow-white, delicate shoulders and graceful neck were tinged with a faint blush.

Her figure was both tall and slender, with collarbones so pronounced they looked as if they could cradle a goldfish. Her body exuded a natural, unique fragrance.

Her silky black hair clung to her neck from the moisture, completing the image of intoxicating beauty.

As Chen Mo kissed her soft lips, he murmured close to her ear, "Baby, you sll so good..."

It was a completely different feeling than with his Queen.

Die's kisses were gentle, tentative yet cooperative—like she was shy but willing.

If it were Queen dusa in her place, he would've already been slapped across the face by now.

Most importantly, although this place was a visual blind spot from above and no one had approached so far, it was still broad daylight.

The royal palace was massive.

Even though Moon i was rely strolling around its outer periter, it would still take her so ti to make a full round.

Swaying her flexible, serpentine waist, Moon i twirled her hair between her fingers as she walked, lost in thought.

Every ti she found herself alone, she grew restless. And without warning, Chen Mo's image would surface in her mind.

It drove her half mad.

Was she really thinking about a human who had flirted with her and taken advantage of her?

She shook her head, scolding herself.

I've clearly spent too much ti in this damned palace. I must be losing it.

She quickened her pace, hoping a brisk walk would help settle her mind.

Not long after, she arrived at the back of the palace.

It was a quiet area, close to the temple, and rarely visited by others.

But suddenly, she heard faint, rapid breathing nearby.

The back walls of the palace had recessed structures spaced at regular intervals—small alcoves that provided limited cover.

At first, Yue i was confused. Soone's actually back here?

Driven by curiosity and suspicion, she crouched in one of the alcoves and summoned a tiny energy serpent—no bigger than her finger. It slithered into the sand, acting as her eyes, and crept toward the sound.

What she saw next would shock her more than anything she had ever seen in her life.

From the perspective of the little snake peeking out of the sand, Moon i caught sight of sothing nestled within one of the wall recesses.

A young woman, her clothes disheveled, her skin as white as mutton-fat jade, beads of sweat still clinging to her forehead. Her silky hair stuck to her face and neck, her cheeks still tinged with crimson.

And then she looked further down—

"Hiiisss—!"

Yue i recoiled like she'd been struck by lightning. She slapped her hand over her mouth, completely stunned.

That girl—was the princess.

And wrapped in her arms...

Was Chen Mo.

Yue i's eyes widened as her mind buzzed in disbelief.

She was still a virgin, but she wasn't ignorant. She had done enough self-study to know exactly what she was looking at.

It felt like a dream—completely unbelievable.

Even when she saw the princess leap into Chen Mo's arms after leaving the temple that night, she had only suspected sothing.

But she never imagined things had already progressed this far.

If Her Majesty the Queen ever found out...

Hiiisss—

Yue i drew another sharp breath, already imagining Chen Mo's brutal fate.

Suddenly, two tiny figures appeared in her mind—one red, one white.

The red one spoke first:

"Go tell Her Majesty. Didn't he grope you before? This is the perfect chance for revenge."

"No," said the white one, "Chen Mo saved your life. If you snitch, he's done for. That's betrayal."

"Betrayal is a human concept," the red one countered. "You're not human. And the Snake-People and humans are sworn enemies. That doesn't count as betrayal."

"If he dies, who's going to repay you for what he stole?" the white one snapped back.

"Exactly—if he dies, who am I going to collect my debt from?"

Before the red one could argue again, Moon i squashed it flat with a ntal flick.

Blushing furiously, she turned and left the area.

But in her heart... a tiny hint of smugness blood.

So now I've got so real leverage on him...

In the Study

Queen dusa suddenly felt her right eyelid twitch violently.

A strange unease stirred in her heart.

She couldn't concentrate on her docunts anymore. A wave of irritation bubbled within her.

This doesn't feel right...

By now, Yue Nu should have reported back with news about Chen Mo.

"Guards!"

Queen dusa set her docunts aside and called out to the guard outside.

"Your Majesty!" A soldier quickly entered the study.

"Summon Yue Nu. Have her co to at once."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Before long, Yue Nu arrived, ready to bow—but Queen dusa raised a hand to stop her.

"Yue Nu, where is Chen Mo?"

"He's been in the side chamber this whole ti. He hasn't co out," Yue Nu replied.

"He hasn't co out?"

Queen dusa's brows drew into a sharp line. "Then have you heard any sounds coming from inside?"

Yue Nu shook her head.

"...This is bad."

Queen dusa's gaze darkened. She imdiately dropped everything and headed for the side chamber.

"Ugh, you're the worst!"

Die wiped her hands with a handkerchief, her bashful eyes glaring at Chen Mo.

Chen Mo was deeply moved.

He hadn't expected Die to go this far for him.

He kissed her on the forehead and whispered happily, "Baby, I love you so much."

"Hmph. All you ever do is bully ..." she pouted.

Just as Chen Mo was about to whisper sothing sweet—

Mo Yan sent a warning.

Queen dusa was flying down the corridor like a streak of light.

Her red lips were tightly pressed together, her delicate hands clenched at her sides, and her face carried a deadly chill.

Yue Nu, trailing behind her, felt her back soaked in cold sweat from the overwhelming pressure radiating off Her Majesty.

Right now, the Queen was terrifying.

Just before reaching the chamber, Queen dusa suddenly said,

"Yue Nu, you're dismissed."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Arriving at the chamber doors—

She didn't knock.

She just pushed them open.

Inside, Chen Mo—soaked in a wooden tub—was jolted in shock.

"Whoa! Queen, you scared the crap outta ! You could've knocked!"

Queen dusa ignored him, scanning the room with cold precision.

Then her sharp eyes locked on him.

"You've been in here the whole ti?"

"Where else would I be?"

Chen Mo scooped up a ladle of water and poured it over his head.

He had to wash off all the sweat—especially since it was mostly Die's fragrance.

If he didn't clean up... he was definitely going to drop dead.

Queen dusa frowned. "What are you doing bathing in the middle of the day?"
