"NO!" I scread, flashing my eyes open and panic filled my body when I felt hands on , it made
rember that filthy vampire’s hands, it still haunts .
"Emma, calm down!"
"No!"
"Emma... it’s , Owen!"
My body stilled and my trembling gaze darted to his brown eyes, not red ones or the face of the man that plagued my dreams, it was just Owen trying to get
to recognize him.
"It’s
okay, it was just a dream," he said softly and I felt tears leaking from my eyes, next I engulfed him in a hug wanting to feel so safe comfort but when his body tensed at my action and I quickly pulled away using the back of my hand to dry my tears, my glasses hoisting up, before setting it properly.
"I-I’m sorry," I said in a low tone.
"No no, it’s okay"
I nodded with a sniff.
"You had a bad dream that’s all, it wasn’t real"
"It felt so real" I closed my eyes. "... so real"
"It’s okay, I’m not gonna let anyone hurt you, you’re good" even at his reassuring words I still felt fear, and within
I shiver, from cold or fear I didn’t know what.
"You were so cold"
"What?"
"Nothing" he quickly said. "Must have been because you were sweating. Would you tell
about your dream?"
I ran my fingers in my hair. I just noticed it wasn’t in a bun. "I saw him..."
"Him?"
I nod. "The Vampire... and" my voice broke.
"It’s okay you don’t need to say it anymore I understand"
