Whatever Tracey had given him, Andrew knew had to not be on the market. The side effects were too strong and awful, and it clearly hadn't gone to human testing yet considering he had a massive nosebleed in the car that could have killed him if a dical professional hadn't been there. Andrew had no idea why soone with dical training had been in the car with them, but he'd been barely conscious, and barely able to comprehend what anyone was saying to him.

The only reason he felt he could understand or hear Tracey was because her voice was familiar to him. He hated that now.

He wondered where she'd gotten the dication she had drugged him with. If this was an untested product like he was assuming, who made it? Did she make it? Did she hire soone to do so? He knew Tracey was smart, but he didn't know how smart. They'd never discussed their jobs in detail, and her job hadn't been front facing, so he had no idea. Where she had almost every idea about him.

Andrew wanted to laugh at himself, but he couldn't even do that. He had been tricked so fully, and drugged. He had left his phone behind in the café, he couldn't move his body or see, and he was basically deaf and blind. He just hoped it wasn't permanent. Hell, he just hoped he didn't die.

"Shh, Andy. I'll take good care of you." Andrew wanted to flinch away from her touch. He couldn't feel her touching him, but he knew she was. It made him want to throw us. What exactly had happened for all of this to transpire? Why had Tracey reacted this way? What was her end goal? What did perfect an?

Andrew had no clue, and he was terrified to find out.

"Tracey, leave him alone. He's bound to be having adverse reactions. You said this didn't work on betas that well." Tracey growled, not liking what the other person said. Andrew couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman speaking.

"He won't be a beta for long. You already saw it, didn't you? He almost reacted like an alpha." Andrew's heart dropped into his stomach. Oh god no. No no no no.

He'd known that Tracey was...a little strange when it ca to alphas and ogas, but it had never been obvious. At least, it hadn't seed harmful. She followed a few scientists who were well known in the field, along with so celebrities, but everyone did that. Even Andrew was known to keep up with so of the drama going on in the celebrity world. But this?

Andrew could feel his heartbeat accelerating to a dangerous speed, and he realised that an alarm had started screaming.

"His heart is beating too fast! Quick, pass that vile!" Soone yelled, and it was only a few monts later that Andrew could feel his head starting to dip.

He didn't want to be an alpha. He wasn't an alpha. He was a beta. He was safe. He wasn't going to hurt anyone. He wasn't going to be soone who could. No. No No No No No NO!

The first day, Andrew didn't rember waking up. He knew several things had happened to him, since on the second day Tracey chattered away to him, but he had no recollection of what happened the first day.

Tracey told him that after his heart rate had spiked, they had given him a drug that was supposed to not negatively react with the first drug he had been given. That seed to be the case, but they began to doubt their assumptions once Andrew didn't wake up within 12 hours of it being administered.

They had then done their best to make sure that Andrew was comfortable, safe, and secure. By that, they ant tied down, in a hospital bed, with several security guards in a room across from them and watching through caras. There was also a guard in the room whenever soone was working with him.

He quickly found out that there were two scientists involved. Tracey, and another woman. Both of them had been working on whatever this project was in secret at work for two years. The whole ti that they had been 'dating'.

Turns out, Tracey didn't really like Andrew, she liked his genes. Or, the potential his genes held.

When Tracey finally got a blood sample from Andrew about two years ago, she had almost shit her pants. Andrew was brimming with alpha characteristics, but he was 2 degrees off. aning, he could be an alpha, if given the right concoctions.

So, Tracey had approached Andrew, and tried to get close to him. The easiest way to do so was to get up close and personal. Tracey didn't have to date Andrew, but she told him that it had just felt like the right thing to do at the ti. She had hoped that she would be able to ask Andrew to help her with her plans as ti went on. But, it beca clear to Tracey over ti that Andrew hated alphas, and wanted nothing to do with them.

So she'd co up with a different plan. Instead of looking for another person, she had made a two year long plan to slowly ruin Andrew's work reputation, get everyone suspicious of him, have him basically fired, if not fired, and then kidnap him and use him for her experints. She had no problems doing so either. When she told Andrew this, and it was obvious he was disgusted, she laughed.

"You are the perfect specin, Andy. I haven't found soone so close to being an alpha, without being one in the 5 years I've been testing others. Even Heather, my co-conspirator, doesn't have as high of a chance as you do." He'd seen her eyes shining as she spoke to him, and he wondered if he'd ever seen her that excited before. She wasn't looking at him as a man. She had never looked at him as a man.

He had always been a test subject.

The first day, as Tracey had put it, was the recovery day. Things didn't take off until day two. That was when Andrew understood why there were restraints on his bed, tying him down.

Whatever these two nutcases had co up with was unbearably painful. It felt like that had shot hot, molten tal into his veins. He scread in pain whenever the liquid was injected into him, and he often passed out because his body couldn't handle the pain anymore.

He'd wake up, and Tracey or the other scientist, Heather, would be there, taking notes. They fed him enough to keep him alive and strong, and after he'd kept throwing it back up after they would inject him, they began administering an IV that gave him enough to keep him stable and alive. Andrew wasn't sure how many tis they injected him, or how many tis he passed out. All he knew was that it was enough that they beca concerned.

He wasn't prepared for day three though.

Day three found him finding out that they had tweaked the formula slightly. It wasn't to limit the pain it was causing him, oh no, it in fact, caused more pain. Andrew started throwing up actively every ti he was injected. The security knew to stand by the bedside on either side to catch his vomit.

This was because he had taken to trying to throw up on the fucking monsters who were experinting on him. Andrew thought it was only fair. If he had to sll like piss, shit, sweat and vomit, they could too.

The experintal drugs still felt like liquid tal in his skin, but he was starting to develop a cough, and was unable to handle strong scents. Tracey saw this as a move in the right direction, but when it got to the point that Andrew couldn't be around his own sll without going insane, they figured that they had to do sothing else.

That sothing else was the wrong call for Andrew, since the new idea that they had co up with was next level insanity. In the middle of the night when he was unconscious, they carried him to a different room further down in the building that they were in. Andrew had no fucking clue where they were, but it was big enough that it had an upper and lower floor. That was all he knew.

This room was completely cent, with a drain in the center. Here, they wrapped protective fabric around his wrists and ankles, chained him up, and left him there, still attached to dical equipnt that was waterproof. They had stripped him of his clothes as well, and when Andrew had awoken on the morning of day four, a shower of lukewarm water had greeted him.

He didn't know what he had done to get so lucky.
