"Just accept your loss and surrender, or you could also wait to be pushed of the stage slowly." Jason said.

Xenon aid his fist at the shield, throwing several punches, his fist couldn’t even reach the shield as they bounced off the compressed air around it.

"No no no no... no! This can’t be happening" Xenon increased the frequency of his punches. He continued till his fist were sore, they dropped to his sides, his eyes watering and his body being pushed back slowly towards the edge of the stage which was just a few feet away.

’No no no... this can’t happen... I can’t afford to lose... If I lose I’ll not get admitted, I’ll be sent back to the manor... I don’t want to go back to the manor’ Xenon said to himself, tears threatening to fall. The edge of the stage was just a tre away now..

’No I can’t afford to lose... I can’t give up now, I can’t lose.’ Xenon said to himself, gritting his teeth.

’System, add two points to strength and three to endurance.’ Xenon instructed, white lightning crackling around his whole body.

The system notified Xenon of ssages which he simply ignored and released his body to the control of the healer.

"I deserve an applause too" Xenon said faintly as he floated on air going up to the 5th floor and drifted into sleep from intense fatigue.

Xenon woke up to blinding light, his eyes adjusted to the light and he could see a white stone ceiling above him. He sat up swiftly, regretting it imdiately as his sore muscles throbbed in pain, in protest to his sudden movent.

Xenon looked around and rembered how he got here. He realized he was on the fifth floor after being healed and stood to his feet with so effort.

’I thought I had died again’ He said to himself as he stretched tenderly. He went forward to the stone railing and looked down at the contestants climbing onto their stages all over the arena. He heard Professor Arkham announce it was the last round and his eyes widened in shock.

"Nooooo. I missed the rest of the matches. How long was I out for?" Xenon exclaid sadly.

"You were out for a considerably long ti. You put a lot of strain on your body that I was worried you would be out till tomorrow, but you managed to recover in a tenth of the ti I estimated." The healer, Miss Felicity replied.

"M... miss Felicity... thanks for your care" Xenon stamred as his eyes t hers. He was the only one left with her in the infirmary on the fifth floor.

"I apologise for my disturbance, I shall take my leave now" Xenon added, backing away.

"No, it’s okay, you can stay to watch the last match" She smiled at him.

"Ah, thank you miss" Xenon leaned back on the stone railing grinning bitterly. He had wanted to leave to check the system’s rewards, not because he thought he was disturbing her. He couldn’t do that anymore now. He decided to focus on the last round of battles.

A few seconds later his attention was turned to a certain person on one of the stages.

’Isn’t that Jeage, hmmm... let’s see what he’s capable of.’ Xenon thought to himself.

Jeage stared at his opponent whose skin had transford to stone as soon as the matches were ordered to begin. ’Perfect’ He muttered.

"Do you know what I ate this morning?" Jeage asked his opponent.

"No?" He answered, bewildered by the strange question.

"I don’t know it’s exact na either, but i heard it’s called a boxing shrimp." Jeage said moving closer to his opponent.

"What does this have to do with ?" His opponent asked.

"Oh, it has everything to do with you" Jeage said as his fist burst into flas.

His opponent ran towards him and he delivered about five punches to his torso. Xenon didn’t know the exact amount as his cousin’s fist moved extrely fast and carrying imnse force with each blow.

The speed and force the punches carried with the flas on his arms caused nurous clumps of flas to implode into themselves all around his opponent’s torso. Jeage drew his right fist back which burst into flas which swirled around his arm like a tornado.

"Solar Impact!" Jeage scread as he threw his right fist at a speed too fast to be seem by the naked eye. The flas left his arm, sucked in by the force of the punch and the imploding blast.

Jeage’s feet spurt flas which propelled him backwards as all the mini implosions combined and exploded in one great blast that sent tremors throughout the amphitheatre.

The poor opponent couldn’t even lift a finger as everything happened too fast for him to react. One second he was running towards his opponent, the next second nurous fist hit him in his gut knocking the wind out of him, the second after that there was a large, bright red explosion around his torso, and the next second he was flying through the amphitheatre his stone skin withered and his real skin burning while he fainted.

"You have gotta be kidding !" Xenon said to himself as he struggled to comprehend what just happened before him.

"Now I see why they don’t use as much force used in water on land." Jeage said looking at his right palm which was bending at an abnormal angle and his fingers were broken and also stuck out at different unnatural angles.

Jeage arrived on the fifth floor where his arm was healed. He turned to leave before seeing soone familiar.

"Xenon, thank goodness I saw you here, I was just thinking of how to search for you!" Jeage said heaving a relieved sigh.

"Nice to see you too" Xenon was confused as to why he was searching for him as they never once spoke to each other.

"Yeah. Um, uncle Mycel is married now, the wedding was yesterday." Jeage said as he walked, aiming to descended the fifth floor. Xenon nodded to his words as it didn’t really concern him.

"Elsa sends her regards" He continued. "And also told to wish you a Happy Birthday!" He smiled as he patted Xenon on the shoulder.
