The battle ended almost as soon as it began.

Rank 6 monsters were torn apart by waves of death mana, their bodies collapsing into dust before they could even scream. Rank 7 beasts fared no better—necrotic chains dragged them screaming into the shadows, while lich spells erased their cores with cold precision. Even the strongest among them barely managed a roar before being overwheld.

Within minutes, the chamber fell silent.

The floor was spotless.

Not a single corpse remained—only faint motes of fading mana where monsters had once existed.

A soft chi echoed through the chamber.

{ First Floor Cleared }

Lily lifted her teacup, unhurried, and took a sip.

"Next," she said.

The undead army flowed back toward her like a tide reversing, slipping once more into her shadows as if they had never existed.

The stone door on the far side of the chamber rumbled open.

One of the knights swallowed.

"...Cleared in under three minutes."

Another glanced at Lily, then quickly looked away, as if staring too long might be dangerous.

The maid calmly packed the table, poured the remaining tea into a sealed flask, and stepped aside. "Shall we proceed, my lady?"

Lily rose, her red dress barely stirring despite the residual mana still hanging in the air.

"Yes," she replied. "No delays."

They descended.

{ Second Floor }

The mont Lily stepped forward, the dungeon reacted.

Six magic circles ignited at once, their glow deep and violent as monsters began pouring out in response. The creatures were clearly stronger than those on the first floor—many of them ranked several tiers above Lily’s undead.

Lily responded without hesitation.

Her undead army erged once more, shadows unfolding into ranks of Death Lords and Mythical Liches.

Despite the difference in rank, the result was the sa.

Her class passives flared silently—undead reinforcent effects strengthening every undead under her command. Their durability multiplied, their spell output surged, and their coordination sharpened to an almost unnatural level.

Numbers did the rest.

Curses layered.

Death magic saturated the air.

Enemy ranks collapsed under sheer overwhelming force.

Within minutes, the floor was silent again.

{ Second Floor Cleared }

The knights exchanged looks.

"They’re stronger than the first floor monsters," one muttered.

"And it still didn’t matter," another replied.

Lily didn’t even slow down.

From there, the descent beca relentless.

Floors blurred together.

Third. Fifth. Tenth. Fiftieth.

Boss monsters—creatures ant to halt entire raid parties—were erased before they could finish forming. Rest floors were passed without pause. The dungeon’s difficulty escalated sharply, but Lily’s pace never wavered.

By the ti she passed the hundredth floor, there were now Rank 7 peak monsters now but still it didn’t matter against her army.

Three hundredth floor.

Five hundredth floor.

The knights had stopped counting how many tis they had been "ready to intervene."

The maid, on the other hand, calmly kept notes.

"...Mana efficiency has improved again," she murmured.

Lily barely noticed.

At last—

The stairway opened into a vast abyssal chamber.

The air here was ancient, oppressive, heavy with authority.

A colossal gate stood before her, carved with runes that pulsed like a living heartbeat.

{ 999th Floor – Final Depth }

"Okay... final floor, and then I’m done," Lily said, yawning lightly.

Without any planning or hesitation, she stepped forward.

The gate opened.

Inside was not a battlefield.

It was a throne hall.

A vast, cathedral-like chamber stretched endlessly, its ceiling lost in shadow. Ancient pillars lined the sides, each engraved with draconic runes that radiated imnse pressure. At the far end, upon a raised obsidian dais, sat a throne forged from black dragonbone and abyssal crystal.

And on it—

A humanoid figure rested casually.

He had the build of a man, but his presence was unmistakably draconic. Ash-gray scales traced along his arms and neck like natural armor. Horns curved backward from his temples, and a long, scaled tail lay coiled beside the throne. His eyes burned with molten gold light, carrying the weight of countless ages.

A Half-Dragon.

The ruler of the Eternal Well.

Lazzarus.

The air itself bowed to his existence.

"So," Lazzarus said, his voice deep and echoing, layered with draconic resonance, "another challenger reaches the end."

His gaze swept over Lily—and then past her, to the sea of undead filling the hall behind her.

One brow rose slightly.

"...Interesting."

Lily looked around, unimpressed.

"Hm. You look stronger than the others," she said plainly.

Lazzarus leaned back on his throne, resting his chin against one clawed hand.

"I am Lazzarus," he declared. "Warden of the Eternal Well. Half-blood Dragon Lord. Final Trial."

His eyes sharpened.

"State your na, child. And your reason for standing before ."

"I just want to grow stronger," Lily replied simply.

As the words left her mouth, the air behind her rippled.

Then—

Darkness poured outward.

Another five thousand undead erged from her shadows, their arrival silent yet overwhelming. The total number now exceeded ten thousand.

Death Knights, Liches, Wraiths, Bone Titans—an army that blotted out the floor itself.

More than a hundred Death Lords moved instantly, forming a tight guard around Lily, their auras overlapping into an impenetrable wall. Behind them, Mythical Liches raised their staffs, reinforcing the formation with layers of necrotic barriers, curse amplification, and regeneration fields.

The pressure in the throne hall skyrocketed.

Even the runes carved into the walls flickered, straining under the weight of so much death mana.

Lazzarus stared.

For the first ti since she entered, his expression truly changed.

"...Just what are you?" Lazzarus asked, staring at the endless sea of undead.

"Does it matter?" Lily replied calmly.

Lazzarus burst into laughter.

"No... it doesn’t."

He cracked his neck once, rolling his shoulders as ancient power surged.

"Normally," Lazzarus said, his voice deepening, "I only reveal this form to those who manage to reduce my health by half."

He looked directly at Lily.

"But with you... I’ll start like this."

His body expanded.

Bones cracked. Scales erupted across his skin like molten armor. Wings tore free from his back, unfurling with a thunderous boom that shook the entire floor. His horns curved outward, runes igniting along them as draconic mana flooded the chamber.

In seconds, the humanoid form was gone.

A true dragon stood before her—vast, ancient, and terrifying.

Lazzarus, the Half-Dragon Lord of the Eternal Well, revealed his true form from the very beginning.
