What does half an hour represent?

In normal circumstances, half an hour isn’t much—play with your phone, ponder about life, and it quickly passes by.

But what about now?

What’s the scene like at this mont?

Stop kidding around.

This is an Arican airport, and it’s one that has been bombed.

At least a hundred terrorists, ard with the most advanced weapons, are searching everywhere for him. Surviving half an hour under these conditions is as difficult as ascending to heaven.

What’s more, it’s impossible for Lin Mo to find any help on his own in this situation.

Even trying to find a hacker in the dark web to help him escape, like he used to, is wishful thinking.

The reason is simple,

Under such circumstances, it’s not just a matter of whether the surveillance systems are still functioning, but even if they are, how could Lin Mo possibly find a way to escape?

In the past, there was a dense crowd to blend in with, and there were shelters for protection, which allowed him to use the caras to perform evasive maneuvers.

But now, there’s no such thod.

He can only make a brute force attempt, relying on luck and so techniques that are unlikely to beco reality.

Dah... Dah Dah... Dah Dah Dah...

When it rains, it pours.

Lin Mo was already running out of places to hide, and now two terrorists have co barging in and discovered his hiding spot.

This is bad!

The terrorists didn’t give Lin Mo ti to react. The mont they spotted Lin Mo, they decisively pulled their triggers.

No communication, no intention of taking him alive, they shot without rcy as soon as they t him.

Luckily, Lin Mo’s reflexes were fast enough. As soon as he spotted the two terrorists, he dashed forward to cover so distance, then quickly found a new shelter to hide behind.

That was the best he could do.

In these circumstances, all he can do is keep finding one shelter after another, trying to find the safest spot.

Half an hour isn’t particularly long but isn’t short either. If he really tries to hide, it’s not impossible to survive; it all depends on luck.

"Lin Mo is here, quick, target sighted!"

"Charge!"

"Whoever kills Lin Mo will be rewarded with 100 million dollars!"

"Go, go!!!"

"F**k, I’ve finally found you, you bastard!"

"Rush, agh!"

Upon their shouts, the other terrorists also received the information. Without hesitation, they all rushed towards Lin Mo.

He was surrounded.

Above, below, in front, and behind were all terrorists. Any slight movent could put him in unnecessary danger.

But,

If he didn’t break out now, the terrorists would soon close in, and the situation would be just as dire, leaving him with no place to be buried.

Trapped in a predicant once again.

This wasn’t the first ti Lin Mo had faced such danger and might not be the last in his life. Nonetheless, Lin Mo did not want his life to end this way.

He still had many unfulfilled dreams and countless things undone; how could he just die in this naless place?

Lin Mo had contemplating his own death. Even if it happened any minute, he felt he could accept it.

He had lived every day to the fullest and, in Lin Mo’s view, had no remaining dreams to fulfill or pressing matters to attend to.

Everything he aid to do was done.

But it was not okay,

His family was still waiting for him to co ho, for him to make it back alive.

His son, his daughter, his wife, his parents...

His friends!

Throughout his life, Lin Mo had thrived on the support of these people, so as long as there was the slightest chance, he absolutely refused to beco a corpse.

That wasn’t the outco he wanted.

So he had to fight.

Despite the world being very dangerous, despite there being so many terrorists in the airport, and even though they could end his life at any mont,

As long as there was a sliver of hope to survive, Lin Mo would never give up.

"Damn it, it’s just half an hour, right?"

"I’ll take you all on!"

Determined, Lin Mo no longer lingered, quickly rushing to a corpse beside him, grabbing it as a shield, and starting to sprint forward.

Not far off was a patrol car; if he could manage to get inside, maybe, just maybe, there was a chance to live.

His current move was very risky, as he was surrounded by enemies with no room for error. The mont he revealed himself, hundreds of automatic rifles were already aid in his direction.

Those people hesitated not one bit, and without caring whether they’d hit their target, they imdiately pulled their triggers.

One hundred million dollars...

That was just too huge a number, so huge that even if only a fraction was offered, so would readily sacrifice their lives without a second thought.
