"That... I am going on a trip. I won’t be back before this week. So..." Helena muttered.
She felt a little shy talking about her honeymoon with her brother.
Even though their honeymoon was nothing but fake, no one but the couple knows of that. Having to talk about that with her newly found brother still felt very embarrassing for a young lady like her.
"On a trip? Now? Where?" rlin did not know about the honeymoon and hence asked in hurt.
He wanted to et his sister as soon as possible and call her his sister openly. But she had to go on a trip at this mont? He was really hurt by this piece of news.
He was also a little angry. Of course, not at Helena but at the circumstances.
"Umm... That..." Helena was still embarrassed and thus did not notice his anger.
"What happened? Where are you going?" rlin thought that she might be going on a business trip. But now listening to her hesitating hums, he could feel that it wasn’t the case.
"That... Vernon and I are going on our honeymoon," Helena took a deep breath and blurted out.
"Oh. Sure. Then we can et once you are back. Don’t worry. When you want to et , just give a call directly. You don’t need any appointnts to et . Okay?" rlin finally understood why she was hesitating to speak. His little sister was clearly shy. So, he changed the subject imdiately so that she wouldn’t feel so embarrassed to talk with him.
Helena sighed in relief and nodded, "Okay, Brother rlin."
They exchanged a couple of words more before they hung up.
"Done?" Vernon asked, looking at her with a smile. Helena nodded and smiled back. "It really feels very comfortable to speak with him every ti. He had a sort of magic, I guess?"
Vernon chuckled and shook his head, "Magic? No way. I can feel that he isn’t easy going with everyone. He is like that just with you."
Vernon could feel the coldness in rlin’s eyes when he saw him. Even when they were on a call the last ti, the softness in his voice when he talked to Helena would vanish into thin air. It was like all his softness was reserved just for Helena and probably a few other loved ones of his.
Helena blinked her eyes. She did not know why he said that. But she did not ask him further. For her, rlin was a good man who cared for her. He is now her brother, whom she loves as well. She doesn’t want to hear any word that could possibly be against rlin.
Vernon heard her thoughts and shook his head helplessly. He ruffled her hair and got up from his seat. "Okay, let’s pack our bags now. You are not going to your office today, right?"
Helena shook her head, "I am not. I am sure my father would nag for a few hours if I appear in the office today."
"Have you patched up?" Vernon asked when he saw her talking about her father casually like before.
Helena pouted and shook her head, "No. It is not that easy."
Vernon nodded in understanding, "It’s okay. Just take your ti. There is no hurry anyway."
"Hmm. That’s what I thought as well." Helena nodded back and stood up to join him in going upstairs to pack their bags for their trip.
Once in his room, Vernon’s smile vanished.
He pretended to be okay in front of Helena because he didn’t want her to think too much. But now that he was finally alone, he couldn’t help but start thinking about the past Helena’s words.
His thoughts and emotions were in a jumbled ss when he thought of their conversation from earlier.
On one hand, he was ecstatic. Helena told him that he could set everything right without having to divorce. Wouldn’t that be the best?
He knows Helena. If she said that everything could be turned back to normal, it ant there really is a chance for that. She wasn’t lying to him.
If she wanted to lie to him, she wouldn’t confess her hatred to his nephew to his face.
If he didn’t have to divorce her for everything to go back to how happy they were before, he would happily dance for a few days in happiness.
But on the other hand, she told him to save soone for that to happen. Who exactly is that?
Helena said ’she’. Who is ’she’? What does she an by ’save her’?
Also, why exactly would saving soone help in saving their relationship?
He had so many questions, but Helena left before he could get the answers.
How to get those answers now?
Whom should he save to salvage their relationship?
Thinking about this matter made his head hurt.
Also, why does ’not saving her’ hurt Helena’s relationship with him and his family mbers?
What exactly is he missing? He recalled everything that had happened in his previous life, but he couldn’t rember there ever being a ’she’ whom they couldn’t ’save’.
What exactly does Helena know and not him in their previous life?
How much exactly did she struggle behind his back? Why wouldn’t she tell him anything?
Why does she have to hide anything from him?
With their relationship, what was the need?
He knew one thing for sure. Helena loved him as much as he loved her. But even if they weren’t really in love with each other, just their friendship was enough to share such matters with each other.
As he did not understand anything, he rubbed his head so much in frustration that he was sure he would go bald today if he had not gone last night yet.
He thought very deeply and hard about who the ’she’ in her words could be, but no matter how long he thought, he couldn’t point to any person.

"She called," rlin had a goofy grin on his lips as he told Dawn.
Dawn smiled back, "Congrats, Boss. Did she tell you about the DNA results?"
rlin stopped smiling and shook his head.
"Huh? No? But why, Boss?" Dawn was confused.
rlin gave a small smile and said, "She wanted to tell about it face-to-face. Not on phone."
"Oh." Dawn nodded his head, "Yes. That’s true as well. Such an important matter shouldn’t be talked about on the phone. It is better to talk face to face. That would be more perfect. Then, Boss, do you want to change your suit or are you going to et Miss Helena in this outfit?" He pointed at the suit he was wearing right now.
There is nothing wrong with the suit he was wearing right now. But he thought that rlin would like to wear a special outfit for the special occasion.
rlin blinked his eyes and looked at his own suit. He agreed with Dawn’s idea and nodded. He should change, indeed, if he had to et Helena.
Sadly, he wasn’t eting her yet. So, he could only shake his head sadly.
"Huh? What happened, Boss?" Dawn did not understand why his boss looked sad. He should be ecstatic about eting Helena. After all, he couldn’t sleep properly since he had seen the results of the DNA report.
rlin sighed, "We are not eting today. I have to wait for a week or more before I can finally et my sister."
Dawn blinked his eyes as he did not understand what had happened.
Usually, rlin would not care about explaining his matters to his assistant. But because he was sad about the matter and he wanted soone to share his sadness with, he shared what Helena told him on the phone earlier.
Dawn understood what had happened and why his boss looked like he had just lost a billion-dollar deal. He sighed and said a few words to console his boss before leaving the office.
He did not dare to stay longer with his sad boss anymore.
He was okay facing his angry boss - who could kill without even blinking his eyes - but he couldn’t face his sad boss - who looked like a whiney little child - at all.
For Dawn, the latter boss looked scarier than the forr one. So he had to flee as soon as possible.
"Where are you going? Co back," rlin called for him from the back.
"Boss, I have to check a few docunts before I can bring them to you," Dawn said those words without even turning back to face his boss before fleeing.
rlin blinked his eyes, looking at his back, and was stunned. "Are there any docunts I have to look at today? Why didn’t I know?"
Even if he was a boss, it is not like he should look at so many docunts all day long.
Dawn did not hear his words, and even if he did, he wouldn’t dare to stop to answer. There really were no docunts after all. He just used it as an excuse.
