Then as he walked over to the nearest corpse, Zyrran, Alex opened his palm and activated [Extraction], his eyes narrowing in anticipation of the rewards.

Alex couldn't help but grin.
And of course, whenever a new skill popped up, especially one that was legendary, there was nothing else to do but to take it.

But Alex didn't do it for two simple reasons: if he did that, the mana cost would probably rise enough for him to not even be able to use it.
And second, he wanted to upgrade it first.
You might ask why he would do that when the skill is gonna be Max-Tier anyway.
Well that's because if he upgraded [Electric Storm] to its max form, then combined it with [Fury of Thunder], the damage output would be much higher.
These skills were combined, aning that though they would Max-Tier regardless, their damage would increase massively, and of course, their mana would too.
He moved next to Kaelthor and repeated the process.

A part of the description was hidden, it was the third ti this happened.
He pocketed the items into his inventory, already planning how to use them.
With that done, though, Alex simply stood there.
"I an, I did what Alphox said, so other than killing monsters there's nothing to do..."

Even though he was gaining around 5,000 points per monster killed, the archer girl still sohow managed to get more than 40,000 points.
Opening up his [World Map], Alex noticed that she was in fact in the third floor: Night Plains.
And alongside her were so of the top ranking players, each in their own corner.
Except...
"Wait a minute," Alex zooming in into Alice's dot, and once he did, he noticed that she was with soone as there was another dot right next to hers.
The ID was... Aurelia.
"Her..." Alex mumbled, his gaze turning grim.
He didn't know whether her and Alice were fighting, but if so, then he was confident the latter would win thanks to her arrows.
Regardless, now that he was done with point gathering, the only thing left to do was to try and climb to the sixth floor.
Though he knew this would be suicide, especially now that he had just struggled against 3 level 600 Mythical Bosses.
There would be more terrifying beings above, so he needed to beco stronger before attempting that since so of them could have [Soul Attacks].
He had a long ti to reach the level to kill level 1000 monsters, but until then, all he could do was upgrade his skills, gear and gather more connections in the ga.
The [Double Experience Zone] gave better experience points anyway, so he would much rather go back there even with the risk of encountering angels.
Though there was a problem.

Even when he tried to leave, sothing was stopping him.
Just like no one could escape this place before the examination ended, he was put on the sa rules even with his spatial artifact.
So after trying a few more tis, Alex simply sighed.
"Well, I might as well see what Alice is up to," he mumbled, opening up the map and displaying the section of the [Tower of Destiny]. Stay tuned with empire
On there, every floor from 1 to 5 was added to the list of places he could teleport at.
[Spawn location will be randomized every ti.]
"Doesn't matter," he shrugged as he clicked on [Floor 3: Night Plains], vanishing in a blue light.
