The next day, the elite ladies in black had already delivered classified Hydra intelligence to the bedside tables of politicians around the globe.

From heads of state to royal heirs, everyone woke up to the sa chilling surprise—confidential files that appeared out of thin air beside them.

It marked the beginning of a chaotic, uneasy day.

Governnts across the world scrambled into action.

Military units and national intelligence agencies mobilized instantly.

Every leader who received the docunts dispatched their most trusted, most powerful covert teams.

Inside various top-secret facilities around the world, thousands of elite operatives were activated simultaneously—without any coordination.

Their mission? Apprehend everyone listed in the intel, with only one exception: the powerful elite.

They weren't just verifying the authenticity of the files.

They were also racing to uncover who had the capability to breach their secure hos unnoticed and leave behind such damning information.

But once arrests were made and suspects interrogated under truth serum, the real shock hit.

The data was all real.

Hydra had survived—and thrived.

It had infiltrated every level of society, from world leaders and high-ranking officials to rchants, janitors, and newsstand vendors.

So politicians were horrified to discover their own spouses were Hydra operatives.

The world had gone mad.

No one cared anymore who had delivered the information—every governnt turned its focus to hunting down Hydra mbers, killing them, or flushing them out from underground.

Almost every country fell into quiet chaos.

Thousands of kill orders were issued… only to be canceled seconds later when the people issuing them were themselves revealed to be Hydra operatives.

Even the assistant handing over a docunt or the secretary adjusting their glasses might suddenly pull a knife.

Everyone was paranoid. No one could be trusted.

And Hydra's leadership? They were panicking.

---

Inside a sealed, darkened room, Hydra's inner circle convened via encrypted holographic projection.

"Who leaked the information?! Who exposed the list?!" roared Alexander Pierce, a forr S.H.I.E.L.D. director, as he slamd the table.

"We have a traitor among us—a coward! A coward who broke when we were on the cusp of victory!"

His eyes locked onto Baron Strucker.

"You! Strucker! Did you betray us? Did you tip off Fury? Is that why he suspected sothing?!"

Strucker, bald and visibly furious, slamd his fist on the table.

"Don't point fingers at , Pierce! You're the only one not listed in those files! Don't act innocent—you smug hypocrite!"

He stood abruptly, face flushed, veins bulging at his temples.

"You think just because you've been hiding inside S.H.I.E.L.D., you're above suspicion? That you can control Hydra alone?"

"You refused to let Fury join us, even though he's more Hydra than half our mbers! You staged his death and then went after us!"

"You've been sipping wine with senators for a few years and suddenly think you're the supre leader?!"

Pierce's face darkened. "That's nonsense! I've served Hydra loyally from within S.H.I.E.L.D.—I'm no traitor!"

"Gentlen! Enough!" said Mada Hydra, interrupting sharply before things spiraled further.

"We don't have ti for petty squabbles. Focus."

She remained composed, lounging atop the edge of the table in a tight suit, exuding danger and authority.

"The world's leaders are in chaos. They're targeting us. We need strategy, not shouting."

She turned to Strucker first. "Baron, you and I were both exposed. That rules us out as the leak."

She glanced at Pierce. "You, on the other hand, weren't on the list. That raises questions… but considering the Insight Program is close to deploynt, I doubt you'd sabotage it now."

"So let's shelve the bla for now. Our imdiate priority is protecting those who've been exposed."

Strucker scowled and sat back down, gritting his teeth.

"One-third of my elite units are compromised. I've retreated to our Sokovia base—but I can't stay hidden forever."

"That's why we're here," Mada Hydra said coolly. She turned to Pierce. "You're the only one still deep inside the system. You need to act. Quickly."

Pierce exhaled slowly and nodded, shooting a cold glare at Strucker.

"I'll request a covert deploynt from the Security Council. Sitwell and Rumlow will handle the paperwork and forge death certificates for everyone exposed."

"That's the best we can do for now. Once the Insight Program launches, the rest of the world will fall in line."

"They'll regret ever questioning us."

Strucker huffed. "You'd better move fast. eting adjourned."

The projection flickered out, ending the call in bitter silence.

anwhile, elsewhere in New York…

Nick Fury arrived at Tony Stark's mansion, bringing Phil Coulson along.

He had planned to sneak in undetected like before, using an electromagnetic jamming device to disable security.

But the mont he flipped the switch, alarms blared throughout the estate.

Within seconds, an Iron Man suit crashed down from the sky, both repulsors charged and aid at them.

"Whoa, whoa! This is a misunderstanding!" Fury shouted, raising his hands. He elbowed Coulson to do the sa.

A few minutes later, they were escorted by the armored suit into Tony's living room.

Stark sat with his legs crossed, hands stretched along the back of the couch, gazing out at the ocean like he hadn't noticed them.

Fury, unfazed, smiled.

"Nice to see you again, Iron Man—or should I just call you Tony?"

He motioned for Coulson to sit, then looked at the suit.

"Coffee, please. Milk and sugar."

Coulson added, "Just milk for . Room temperature."

Tony raised a hand to stop them. "Did I say you could sit?"

"Really?" Fury responded, already making himself comfortable. "I assud those plush sofas weren't just for decoration."

He stretched his injured leg out across the floor. "You wouldn't deny a disabled man a place to sit, would you?"

Coulson smiled cheerfully. "Very soft seats, Mr. Stark. Real classy."

Tony rolled his eyes. "Is shalessness standard protocol at S.H.I.E.L.D.? You two barge into my ho, again. What's next—should I launch you off the cliff this ti?"

Fury raised a hand. "Relax. We're here to bring you sothing useful."

He nodded to Coulson, who placed a sleek black box on the table.

"Your father helped found S.H.I.E.L.D. This is sothing he left behind."

"Sothing that might help you push the limits of your arc reactor even further."
