"ARGGGHHH!" The nurse scread, his body jerking violently as he tried to move his head away from the pliers.
Neo grabbed the nurse by the hair, yanking his head back with a sharp, brutal tug.
"Stay put," he growled, his voice cold and nacing. "You wouldn’t want pulling out your tongue, would you?"
The nurse froze, his mouth snapping shut in fear.
But it was useless. Neo gripped the cheek, forcing his mouth open.
"Let’s start with the front one," Neo muttered, clamping the pliers around the nurse’s tooth.
CRACK!
With one sharp pull, the tooth ripped free. Blood sprayed out like a fountain, splattering across the nurse’s face
"ARGHHHHH" The man scread in agony, but his torntor didn’t hesitate. He moved quickly to the next tooth, yanking it out with the sa brutal force
Blood continued to pour, and the nurse writhed helplessly. Every second dragged on, the nurse’s screams growing weaker, his body no longer able to resist.
Neo didn’t stop until he was more than satisfied.
Next, he stared down at the other nurse, whose face was twisted in fear.
"Now, do you rember ?"
The second nurse’s body trembled; his breath ragged as he struggled to form words. "Y-- You’re number 13,000"
"DING! DING! BINGO!" he let out a harsh laugh.
He leaned in closer, his grin widening as he watched the nurse’s face drain of color.
"Took you long enough. So, how does it feel that the person you thought was dead has co knocking on your door to take revenge?"
The second nurse’s eyes flickered with shock, his mind scrambling to make sense of the situation
As for the first nurse, he was too preoccupied with dealing with the overwhelming pain to care about the revelations.
"I’m going to be honest with you, scums," Neo said, his voice dark and calm as he moved the scalpel between his fingers.
"I’m planning to kill both of you. So, there’s no point in begging."
He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in before continuing.
"But I’ll give you a chance. A chance to die without feeling hell." he reached for the dart pistol holstered at his side, his fingers brushing against it with eerie ease.
"I’ll sedate you with this. Then, I’ll finish it quickly. No pain, no suffering—like your friend over there, if you answer all my questions."
The second nurse opened his mouth.
"Don’t make repeat myself." his voice was cold and low as he activated his ’Killing Intent.’
Though his aura wasn’t overwhelming, it was enough to rattle his prey, who was already traumatized.
"I... I’ll talk," he gasped "Just promise that you’ll make it quick."
Neo smirked, leaning back slightly. "Good choice."
"Now, I want to know what happened to the won who were with . I overheard that they awakened powers, right? So where did you take them?"
"They’ve been taken to the Academy!" the nurse blurted out.
"The Academy?" Neo’s eyes narrowed, unfamiliar with it.
The scientist from before hadn’t ntioned any place like that. Either they were hiding it, or they were also unaware of such place.
There was also a chance that they simply forgot to ntion it, too consud by fear and distress at the ti.
"Yes! That’s where they take all the awakened who can control their powers. They’re being trained there to beco weapons."
"Tell more about it. Where is it located?
"It’s... it’s deep underground, hidden in an old facility. The entrance is off the grid, a series of hidden bunkers beneath the 2nd Sector."
"And how do I get there?"
"Y... You will pass the second sector on your way to the main one," the nurse forced a reply.
"Just stop there. That’s where the checkpoint is. From there, you’ll need clearance to go any further."
"And how do I get through the checkpoint?"
The nurse swallowed hard. "You’ll need an ID card... or soone with high clearance. Without it, you won’t make it past."
"You an sothing like this?" Neo raised the B-card in his hand.
The second nurse’s eyes widened in disbelief. "You! How do you have that?!"
"Seems like I’ve already got what I need, doesn’t it?" Neo smirked in satisfaction.
Whoever that woman was, she helped him more tis than he could count.
’But who is she?’
The question lingered in his mind. She appeared out of nowhere, handed him exactly what he needed, and vanished just as quickly.
He didn’t believe in coincidences. There had to be a reason behind her actions.
Was she an ally? A manipulator? Or sothing else entirely?
"Tell , who are the people who can get these B-Rank cards?"
The nurse didn’t reply right away, still in shock after seeing a B-Rank card in Neo’s possession.
"Only high-level mbers can get one," he finally muttered. "Even the heads of different organizations on the island can only get A-Rank at best "
Neo’s expression remained unreadable, but his mind was already piecing things together.
"Do you know anyone nad Suhana?"
The nurse raised his eyebrow unconsciously, revealing his confusion. It also ant that the woman used a fake na.
With that in mind, he continued asking questions, gathering as much information as possible about the facility.
Once he was satisfied, he stood up and grabbed a syringe.
The second nurse’s eyes widened in panic. "What are you doing with that? You said you’d sedate first!"
Neo tilted his head slightly, a cold smile forming on his lips. "I did, didn’t I?"
"But what could you do if I went back on my word? It’s not like I pinky-swore or anything,"
He casually filled the syringe with a random vial, watching the liquid swirl inside.
The nurse’s breathing grew erratic as he struggled against his restraints, eyes darting between Neo and the needle.
"Wait! You don’t even know what that is!" he shouted, his voice cracking.
Neo raised the syringe between his fingers. "Guess we’re both about to find out."
