The area resembled a clinic, but the scene inside was far from sterile.

Several corpses lay sprawled across the beds, their lifeless eyes staring at the ceiling.

"Needs so cleaning," Neo muttered, glancing around the bloodstained room.

One by one, he grabbed the bodies and dragged them off, tossing them aside like discarded trash.

The stench of death clung to the air, but his hazmat suit kept it at bay.

Once the beds were clear, he placed the nurses onto them, securing their limbs with the built-in straps.

Their wrists and ankles were tightly bound, ensuring they wouldn’t move once they woke up.

He pulled each restraint firmly, testing its strength.

There was no way they were getting out of this.

"Might find sothing useful," Neo muttered as he stood up and moved to the cabinets, pulling them open one by one.

Inside, he found an assortnt of dical supplies—vials filled with unknown liquids, scalpels, scissors, syringes, and other standard hospital tools.

He picked up a few syringes, inspecting them closely. So still had traces of liquid inside.

A smirk ford on his lips. ’This will be useful.’

After pocketing a few items, he turned back to the unconscious nurses. Their wrists twitched slightly against the straps.

Not secure enough.

He stepped out and searched through the other rooms. Eventually, he found a bundle of thick rope.

’Perfect.’

Back at the beds, he worked in silence, wrapping the rope around their arms, legs, and torsos.

By the ti he was done, only their heads could move.

With everything in place, he pulled up a chair and sat down, watching them in silence. Now, it was just a matter of ti.

Minutes passed. The only sounds in the room were the faint hum of broken dical equipnt.

Then, one of the male nurses stirred. A weak groan escaped him as he tried to move, but the restraints held firm. His breathing grew erratic.

Panic set in as his eyes darted around the room.

"Where am I? Get out of this!"

The second nurse woke monts later, reacting even worse.

He yanked at the straps, twisting his body in a desperate attempt to break free. Useless.

Neo leaned back in his chair, watching them struggle.

"Feels bad, doesn’t it?"

His voice was calm, but the weight behind his words made the air heavy.

The first nurse swallowed hard. "Who are you? Why are you doing this?"

Neo tilted his head slightly. "Yeah, that’s a good question. You really don’t rember ? Look at my face."

The two narrowed their eyes, but none of them says anything.

"Oh, you’ve killed so many people that you can’t even rember their faces."

Neo shook his head, then slowly raised the scalpel, its tip hovering just over the nurse’s eye.

"Maybe losing one will help you see more clearly."

This made them realize how serious their situation was.

They tried to reason with him.

But before they could speak, Neo moved his hand and sliced the skin just below the nurse’s lower eyelid.

"AHHHH!" The nurse’s painful scream echoed through the room, his body convulsing against the restraints.

But he was tied so tightly that it only made the hospital bed move slightly.

Blood trickled down his face, but there was no escaping the pain.

Neo let out a dark chuckle. "Wow this things are sharp,"

He then began slicing into the man’s cheek, the scalpel gliding effortlessly through the skin as if he were carving through soft flesh, not the fragile tissue of a human face.

The nurse kept thrashing, his desperate movents making Neo’s smile widen.

The more pain he inflicted, the greater his satisfaction grew. Each cut, each movent of the blade, feed his own ego.

In addition, with his Novice Torturer skills, the pain he could induce was far more intense, pushing the boundaries of what the human body could endure.

Though, he also had to be careful not to accidentally trigger Bloodbath, or he wouldn’t be able to savor the mont.

"Don’t move around. You’re a nurse, right? So, you know that the more scared you are, the harder your heart will pump, and that makes your situation even more dangerous."

"STOP!" the man scread as the scalpel once again carved out a chunk of his skin.

"Let’s see," Neo mused aloud. "Aside from having bad eyesight, you also have trouble hearing, or you wouldn’t be moving around after I warned you."

He pointed out, feigning that he was simply trying to help.

This ti, he slowly sliced along the edge of ear, taking his ti to ensure the victim felt every agonizing second of it.

THUD!

The ear dropped to the bedsheet with a soft thud, and Neo calmly reached down to pick it up.

He examined it for a mont, turning it over in his hand as if it were a re trinket.

"No wonder you can’t hear ," Neo scoffed "Your ear is too dirty,"

"Please stop, what do you want? Just tell !" the nurse cried out, his voice trembling with desperation.

"You don’t have to worry about that. I’m sure your friend will be more than willing to answer my questions if he doesn’t want to suffer the sa fate."

"Right?" Neo’s tone shifted as he turned his attention to his other target.

The second nurse paled. He glanced quickly at his colleague, who was being cut piece by piece like a at in a market.

Just looking at it made him swallow hard. He didn’t dare speak, terrified that any sound he made would draw focus onto him.

Neo saw the second nurse’s fear, and a cruel smile curled on his lips. The terror in the man’s eyes only fueled his desire to make the situation even more twisted, and entertaining.

He stood up slowly, savoring the mont, then reached for the dical tools nearby.

His fingers closed around the pliers—the ones used by doctors to extract teeth.

CLANK!

CLANK!

CLANK!

The pliers twirled in his hand, the tallic sound echoing ominously.
