"Papa, where are you right now?"
The crisp and soft tone imdiately softened his heart and soothed his tense body, Ren Ye curled his lips into a soft smile as he replied in a doting tone.
"I am outside for a bit, where are you?"
"Hehe, still at the kindgarten. I am playing a ga with Mama!"
The little girl couldn't wait to share her adventure with her Papa, who had been away from her for almost a day now.
"Good, did you win any price?" Ren Ye played along and casually asked her.
Ren Jia made a thoughtful hum before replying in a strange tone, "Didn't win any but a boy gave a little daisy."
Ren Ye was slightly stunned as he wasn't sure he had heard her words correctly or not, he imdiately frowned inside his head.
A boy? Give her a flower? He dares!
An erging protectiveness inside his heart began to evoke as he couldn't help but believe that the young boy definitely harbor so abnormal feelings toward his daughter. After all, his daughter is the prettiest!
He coughed lightly and replied indifferently, "Did you beat the boy?"
"No, friendly Mama told to take it. Papa should have told first so I have a reason to refuse. Humph!"

On the other side, Jing Xue heard what Ren Jia was telling Ren Ye and she suddenly panicked. Her head began to throb as she tapped Ren Jia, gesturing her to look at her.
Ren Jia turned her adorable eyes toward and watched her Mama with cheerful eyes, Jing Xue felt slightly awkward.
I was afraid Ye may have had a heart attack just now…
"Mama, did you hear what Papa said?"
"Huh?" Jing Xue was confused.
"Papa said he was going to et the little friend who gave a flower," She smiled innocently.
Jing Xue rubbed her temples as she said in a soft tone, "Your Papa has bad intentions."
Ren Jia shook her determinedly as she swung her Mama's hands around, she raised her head and pouted her lips, "Papa hasn't co back yet."
"Do you not like spending ti with your Mama?" Jing Xue crouched down and pinched her chubby cheeks, she was extrely enamored by this daughter of hers.
Ren Jia didn't hesitate to shake her head, Jing Xue was slightly relieved as she watched Ren Jia shake her head, "Being with Mama is fun but with Papa, it is even more fun!"
Jing Xue curled her red lips into an attractive smile, "Good girl. Your Papa will co back later today."
"Since we are done here, why don't we go sowhere nice?"
"Mm?"
Ren Jia was intrigued by her Mama's words, she just had ice cream with her Mama just now, and she couldn't think of another place her Mama wanted to bring her to.
"Your Papa ntioned you can draw?" Jing Xue lifted her from the ground and carried her in her arms as they walk out of the garden.
"I have been reunited with you for a couple of days now, I haven't even bought a present to welco my daughter at all," Jing Xue added gloomily, believing she hasn't lived up to her duty as a mother.
Ren Jia noticed her gloomy state as she raised her head and pecked her Mama on the cheeks, Jing Xue was still wearing a mask.
"Mama doesn't have to buy anything, I am very happy with what I have."
Jing Xue dropped her mask and returned Ren Jia's kiss with a peck on her hair.
"No. As your mother, I will give you the best things in this world."
Inside her head, she clenched her fist with raging determination in her eyes. She vowed she was going to give her the best life ever.
On the other side, Ren Ye hung off the call after chatting with his precious daughter.
Ma Zheng, who was standing by himself, couldn't help but notice the previous state Ren Ye was in. He snorted lightly as he thought funnily.
This man seed more normal than I thought, he was smiling to himself while talking on his phone. It appears he may have a special soone inside his heart to thaw his iciness away.
Ma Zheng nodded his head, seemingly to himself.
Ren Ye didn't forget the leftover item the specter had left behind that was covered in dust, he carefully inspected it and placed them inside his inventory to keep the specter sealed first.
If it was ever going to wake, it would have to deal with the system first.
"I took the item left behind, I have no idea what to do with it."
The item left behind was a red athyst that emitted strong degenerate energy, Ren Ye had to freeze his hands before he touched it.
"You should tell him about it and have him cleanse it using his ray. After all, it rightfully belongs to him and is the thing that caused all of this," Old Yi replied in a casual tone.
"Ask him if he has an inventory to stock this thing first."
Ren Ye nodded his head and approached Ma Zheng, he went straight to the point, "You have a system."

Hold up! How does he know you? How did he find out about this?
Ma Zheng's face remained calm but he was shaking internally, he was thinking Ren Ye was going to kill him for hiding such a secret.
"Whatever you want, don't kill ," Ma Zheng imdiately admitted to it and surrendered with a depressed face.
There was no use in hiding it since Ren Ye straight up stated a fact instead of questioning it with doubt. Ma Zheng felt threatened by his powers and imdiately surrendered.
[Idiot!]

Ren Ye didn't react as he tapped the floor with his feet and an item suddenly appeared, he allowed the energy flow inside his body to surround the inside of his hands.
Causing them to beco pale and purple, lacking vitality and blood. And pretty much frozen and unfeeling, he rembered to block in case the vicious energy decided to flow into his palm.
Ma Zheng thought he had beco a zombie as he laid his eyes onto the red athyst, which was reflecting the lights inside the room. It dimd slightly as it reflected.
[Host! Be careful! Don't touch it!]
"Huh?"
[It was a contaminated item, be sure to cleanse it using the ray to clean off excess remnants]
Ma Zheng was stunned as he couldn't help but feel the athyst emitting a dangerous aura, causing his mind to beco chaotic and intense. He had the urge to lash out at his system again.
Ren Ye placed it on the ground and backed off, he watched carefully with a pale complexion. They were lucky to be in a different room as he did not want soone to go blind.
[Soul-cleansing Ray]
Ma Zheng activated his only technique by reciting it inside his head.
Imdiately, a light from above the ceiling opened up and a bright ray of a white flash shot down from it. The room was filled with whiteness and blinding to one's eyes.
Ren Ye closed his eyes tightly as well as Ma Zheng.
It stopped after less than 10 seconds as Ma Zheng and Ren Ye slowly opened their eyes and laid them on the ground.
The light left behind a burnt mark as the athyst was crushed up and burned into small black bags of dust.
Ren Ye lowered his eyes and couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. He suddenly turned his head around and discovered there wasn't anyone other than Ma Zheng.
"How strange, I feel like I was being watched."
Ren Ye frowned.
"You are indeed being watched."
Old Yi replied in a monotone tone, "Soone was watching everything before this. Now, the eyes and ears disappeared."
"My weak intuition only allowed to figure it out later," Old Yi said gloomily as he shook his head with regret.
Ren Ye's head started raining down cold sweats as he sighed, "It is him again."
"The initiator watched everything that happened."
"Yes, he definitely did. After all, I believe inside the contract's content, he may have forced it to beco his ears and eyes."
Old Yi frowned.
Ren Ye turned toward Ma Zheng, who also seed to sense sothing was off, he watched Ma Zheng calmly as he nodded his head to confirm his suspicion.
[Host! You were being watched just now]
Ma Zheng's eyes dilated as they were filled with shock, he exclaid loudly.
"What? Why didn't you tell this?"
[Realization was too late.]
The system added sad and crying emoticons as it expressed its regret and distress. Mostly for its host, rather than itself.
Ren Ye warned him silently, "Be careful of your surrounding, for now, there may be eyes and ears everywhere."
"You too."
Ma Zheng replied with a solemn expression, "I will make sure everyone will be inspected."
"Anyone who has ties with him in my company will be blacklisted from ever doing business and completely purged from society."
Ma Zheng was determined to put this to an end. If he ever discovers any of them, he will make Ye Zhihao pay.
What a bastard! He is hiding in Switzerland so he doesn't face any of the consequences. If he was here, I will hire a hitman to kill him off. Only after his parents died did he show his true colors.
Ren Ye realized he may not be able to return ho safely and may delay his eting with his daughter, he will likely be staying in his apartnt for a couple of weeks before he could return.
"I need a new ability to help through this."
Old Yi agreed.
