Chapter 637: Chapter 67 Proxy Chapter 637: Chapter 67 Proxy “Arise.”

Under the gaze of the crowd, this overly young noblewoman slowly rose, retracting the dragon wings behind her, and took her place.

Misha and the similarly positioned Lord Ramp atop the altar exchanged glances across the space, smiling and nodding to each other in greeting.

“Lord Ramp.”

This Imperial Pri Minister had once introduced her to His Majesty and taught her a great deal of spell knowledge, to say she was grateful would be an understatent.

In Misha’s eyes, this fearso and ugly ogre was like a ntor.

Duke of Earth Goblins, Dolores, seed to realize sothing, his murky little eyes unintentionally glancing at Misha, his expression turning sowhat unpleasant.

“Damn it…”

The Great Goblin squeezed out a low, hoarse voice from between his teeth, a voice that only he himself could hear.

Again, a Half-Dragon announcer stood out, holding a scroll, standing tall, his voice resoundingly clear.

“Coordinating plans, reconciling all parties, making outstanding contributions to the Empire’s logistics…promote Marquis Dailenna to Duke of the Empire.”

“It’s Miss Dailenna!”

“Isn’t that the ‘Flower of Northwind Keep’?”

Amidst cheers and exclamations, Dailenna, clad in a long dress, was levitated onto the high platform, and she did not forget to wave to the crowd below.

“Your Majesty.”

Dailenna knelt in front of Cassius with a smile, appearing relaxed, but her slightly trembling fair legs betrayed her.

Who could not be nervous?

Finally becoming the noble Duke, standing at the pinnacle of the Empire’s power, achieving her lifelong goal, even Dailenna felt as if she was in a dream.

However, the Half-Dragon announcer’s loud voice continued, echoing in the crowded venue.

“Brave and skilled in battle, fearless against mighty foes, displaying the majesty of the Empire’s Dragonborn…promote Marquis Stieg to Duke of the Empire.”

Hoarse shouts rang out, with sparks flying.

Escorted by several Bipedal Wyverns, the nearly twenty-ter-long Wyvern Leader, resembling a true Red Dragon, flapped its wings and soared into the air.

Finally, Stieg landed on the altar, facing the Red Dragon, bending its neck, pressing its head tightly to the ground, folding its wings behind him, issuing a submissive growl.

After receiving the Emperor’s consent, the Bipedal Wyvern also arrived at its place, using its tail for support, standing up on its hind legs.

And now, all eyes in the venue were focused on that last marble seat.

Nine grand dukes, now only one spot left, who could be the lucky one to beco a Duke of the Empire?

“May Cassius prevail…”

“I think Marquis Bruno, in charge of the infantry corps, hardworking and ritorious, deserves to be the Duke of the Empire.”

“Nonsense! Do you know how many demons Lord Big Head’s Artillery Corps has destroyed?”

“Marquis Gilmore has been diligent for many years, assisting Duke Ramp in handling complex Empire affairs, he is not without rit…”

The crowd below, comprised of humans, ogres, tieflings, lizardfolk, and many other races, all held expectations.

Though they knew they would not be chosen, they still hoped soone from their race could beco a duke.

In the Ashen Empire, this multiracial empire, while equality and ritocracy were officially promoted, who wouldn’t wish for their “own people” to exist at the top of the Empire?

And the Marquises of the Empire were even more excited and eager.

Those Earls laden with high hopes held their breath, staring intently at the scroll in the Half-Dragon’s hand, their eyes filled with longing.

However, the announcer kept on going, naming the next candidate, leaving many hopeful marquises disappointed but not daring to retort—

—because this newly appointed duke’s identity was too special, so special that they dared not question it.

“Turning thousands of demons into ice, facing Barlow Fla Demon… promoting Fendiniya to Duke of the Empire.”

Yet another direct elevation, from a commoner with no title directly to a duke, but this ti the appointee was the renowned kin of the Emperor, reverently referred to as the “Wing of the North of the Empire,” the White Dragon.

“Ah—”

A chilling wind blew, a dragon’s roar echoing through the skies.

Surrounded by a chaotic cluster of dragons, the twenty-ter White Dragon spread its wings, casting a shadow over the crowd below.

Twenty-five ters, for the typically slender-frad White Dragons, this was a size akin to Primordial Dragons, yet Tiniya was still immature—clear evidence of the potent Ancestral Dragon Bloodline.

Tiniya strode proudly, head held high, her fierce white head flaring, flapping her wide, spined wings behind her, stirring gusts of cold wind as she flew towards the top of the altar.

Excited, the White Dragon’s pale blue vertical pupils flickered, and she thought to herself:

Finally, her master rembered her!

In that demon repelling war, her desperate battle and efforts to perform had indeed not gone unnoticed!

“Boom…”

With a slight tremor of the ground, the White Dragon arrived at the top of the altar.

She bent her forelimbs at the knees, her wings folding, head almost touching the ground, making a “submissive” gesture towards Cassius.

“Master…

I witnessed your battle, you were truly magnificent, so huge, so powerful, simply…”

Tiniya murmured softly, searching her limited brain for the right words, her face alight with fervor, her thick tail swaying uncontrollably.

The massive white dragon body also moved closer to the Red Dragon, its claws scraping the ground, quietly shifting on the surface.
