Chapter 67: Camus’s Second Good Deed Card

The Dullahan, Lawrence!

Though, like the Lich Azrael, he lacks self-consciousness, he has an instinctive, intense hatred for life.

Should he detect an intruder, he will relentlessly pursue them until death.

With William’s current strength, escape was impossible.

Thus, William was exceedingly cautious, holding his breath, afraid of alerting this BOSS.

This led to William and Jason almost passing by each other without noticing.

Of course, even if they had noticed each other, it wouldn’t have mattered. The Dark Hall was too dangerous, and William had no opportunity to rescue Jason.

Finally stepping into another corridor of the Dark Hall, William let out a small sigh of relief.

It was truly thrilling, a sensation entirely different from his past life’s gaming experiences.

In his past life, although William’s ga character had many thrilling adventures, facing legendary beings and abyssal lords, he had more of an observer’s ntality, as his character could be resurrected.

But now, it was different. Though the ga system also traveled with him to this world, William sensed that he might have beco a full part of this world.

aning, William could no longer resurrect like in his past life’s ga.

If he died here, that would be the end.

William didn’t believe he would have a chance to be resurrected if he died in the Lich’s tomb.

Thus, walking on the edge made William feel especially thrilled, with adrenaline rushing, making his senses extrely sharp.

On his way to the mansion, William encountered a dozen monsters, with the Dullahan, Lawrence, giving him the greatest sense of pressure.

Deserving of a Gold-tier BOSS, right?

rely the aura of standing there felt to William, a hobody from his previous life, like facing a ten-ter-tall magnificent tiger.

However, it wasn’t all for naught. As a Gold-tier dungeon, “Azrael’s Dungeon of Death” naturally contained various treasures.

Relying on his mory, William found a grey high-grade magic gem, the “Necrostone,” and an “Unnad Rib Bone” in a secret chamber of the Evil Bones Temple.

Though the “Unnad Rib Bone” might not sound impressive, it was a top-tier material for necromancy.

It could be used to strengthen skeleton-type necromantic creatures or as a sacrificial offering to attempt summoning higher-level undead like bone dragons from the netherworld, making it a highly valuable item for necromancers.

Unfortunately, each dungeon only contains real treasures on the first clear; subsequent entries through the sa dungeon via a dungeon crystal only yield rewards like experience points, contribution points, and special skills.

Thus, William in his past life never obtained these treasures, learning of them only through ga forums.

But William wasn’t greedy. Acquiring these treasures without risking his life was fine, but his main priority was to conquer this dungeon as quickly as possible.

Passing the Dark Hall, his destination, the mansion, lay ahead.

In a corridor within the maze,

Standing not far from the mansion, William looked ahead with a sense of frustration.

The monsters encountered so far could be bypassed, but what about the two blood servants guarding the entrance to the mansion? William’s frail body couldn’t possibly force his way through.

A dilapidated attic, often seen in horror gas, sat before William. Its walls were covered in dust, obscuring the original color, and only one door remained, with the missing side revealing a profound darkness, like an abyss harboring endless danger and terror.

William’s gaze, however, fell on two bats hanging along the doorfra, their dark appearance almost rging with the fra.

But William dared not overlook these little creatures; these were the mansion’s door-guarding high-level blood servants. Players attempting their first raid often managed to overco the Dullahan, Lawrence, only to fall at the “surprise” of these two blood servants at the entrance to the mansion.

Although these two blood servants’ levels weren’t considered strong within the tomb, their Gold-tier strength was far too overwhelming for William to enter the mansion through normal ans.

What a hassle! In his past life, William would normally steamroll through these obstacles. Who could have thought he’d re-enter this dungeon at the Bronze level? Therefore, he had no knowledge of any alternative ways to enter.

But the hope for clearing the dungeon lay inside. There was no way he could just give up.

William touched his nose in frustration. Was there a way to bypass the two blood servants at the door? Throw sothing to distract them? No, that wouldn’t work. They were dormant now, but once awakened, with the blood servants’ keen sense of sll and speed far surpassing his own, William had no confidence he could enter the door in such a short ti.

Enter through a window on the other side of the attic? No, each room inside the attic housed vampires. Entering there would be like delivering food to them.

Dig a tunnel? Aside from making too much noise, potentially alarming the sleeping blood servants and vampires, William doubted he could breach the mansion’s structure. This seemingly dilapidated attic was an essential part of the maze, surely Azrael had invested a lot of effort into it.

Fly over to the roof? The result would be the sa, ending up entering through a window, with the only difference being the vampires would be on the second floor instead of the first.

Was there another way?

William rummaged through his spatial ring to see if there was any item that could be useful.

Suddenly, his searching hands stopped, a rolled-up piece of parchnt appearing in his hand.

How could I forget I had this!

A look of joy appeared on William’s face, as if he had found new hope.

[Short-Range Directed Magical Teleportation Circle (Basic) — This records a special magic circle diagram. You can learn the magic circle recorded on it or use it as a one-ti use item.]

With this, he could directly teleport into the mansion.

Camus really is a good person!

Amid the surprise, William didn’t forget to ntally award Camus a second good deed card, giving him a big thumbs-up.

Although it was a bit of a pity to use it as a one-ti item, William didn’t yet have the ability to understand the teleportation circle recorded on it.

But if he didn’t use it now, he’d be faced with a real dead end.

At such a critical mont, there was no need for hesitation. William decisively laid the parchnt on the ground and poured his magic into it.

The aging parchnt began to emit a faint magical glow, becoming filled with magical energy.

Although the teleportation circle was only for short distances, it was more than enough to span the distance between William and the mansion.

Fortunately, using this parchnt ant there was no need to set a spatial marker at the destination beforehand; otherwise, William would have been out of options.

William set the teleportation target directly in the center of the mansion, in the innermost room on the first floor.

As the parchnt absorbed the magic, it turned to ashes.

Suddenly, William’s figure twisted slightly and vanished without a sound from the maze corridor.
