"3, 2, 1, detonate!"

With Cain’s command, a series of explosions erupted instantly.

Thousands of Evil Ghost Association mbers were engulfed in the blasts, torn to shreds in the blink of an eye.

Of course, these explosions were purely physical in nature; the Fierce Ghost Association hadn’t beco so extravagant as to employ actual ghost bombs, a truly scarce commodity.

In the horrifying world, there was a dreadful rule: aside from ghost energy, no other form of attack could genuinely harm an ghost.

Guns, bombs, even nuclear weapons, and what would logically restrain ghosts, like lightning – unless these things themselves were ghostly, they couldn’t inflict real damage on the evil ghosts of this world.

So, walking down the main street of Fierce Ghost Street, gory scenes were common. A ghost, dead from so illness, might carve up its body with a kitchen knife to scratch an itch, blood pouring everywhere.

As long as the knife wasn’t a ghost item or charged with ghost energy, even dismbernt with a machete could rapidly heal.

Thus, in genuine life-and-death battles, non-ghostly explosives in this horror world were even less useful than a kitchen knife. After all, the knife is held in hand, and even if not a ghost item, the body’s ghost energy could attach to it, inflicting real damage on ghosts.

On the other hand, explosives, apart from destroying buildings and blowing ghosts away, had no other function. They couldn’t kill even the lowest-level wandering souls, let alone Fierce-level ghosts or soldier ghosts.

Even more, so buildings were instances possessed by ghost masters, and like living things, had the ability to recover. Even if shattered by ordinary explosives, they could quickly heal.

Therefore, in this world, ghosts cared not for ordinary explosives, nor thought to utilize them.

But the Chosen one were different! As humans, their minds were more agile, their intelligence completely overwhelming ghosts of the sa or even higher levels.

So, with the Chosen one’s involvent, and having gained so control over the Fierce Ghost Association under Alexander’s orders, the mode of this battle had undergone a complete transformation.

With the explosions, countless mbers of the Fierce Ghost Association charged out from the shadows, rushing toward the blasted evil ghosts, brandishing various weapons.

The explosives did no substantial harm, but the ghosts’ bodies needed ti to recover. Before they could even rise, nurous blades and pipes struck them.

Working in small groups, the Fierce Ghost Association’s mbers moved quickly, were well-trained, and had clear roles.

Without the advantage of numbers, the Evil Ghost Association’s mbers were swiftly dealt with, barely putting up resistance.

"You... you..." stamred a minor boss of the Evil Ghost Association, just getting to his feet to see most of his subordinates already dealt with, his eyes wide as the grinning Cain, wielding blade and pipe, charged with several fierce ghosts like himself.

"You’re so despicable, using explosives!"

Thud!

Before he could finish, a steel pipe smashed his head, followed by several ghostly blades impaling him through.

"Ptui!" Cain spat on the ground, contemptuously saying, "This is a gang fight, not a soccer match! Brothers, clean up and prepare for the next wave of enemies!"

With a wave of his ghostly weapon-clad pipe, Cain’s mbers quickly began to clear the battlefield, disposing of bodies at top speed, then swiftly retreated into the shadows.

The common ghost corpses were dumped into Fierce Ghost Street’s abundant abandoned buildings, soon to dissipate into ghost energy. Those of Fierce-level were transported to the rear.

There, in a cold storage prepared by Ghost Prince Edward, they would be transford by Alexander into ghost food.

...

Not far from where Cain was, in an abandoned building, lay another battlefield.

A group of several hundred mbers of the Evil Ghost Association, howling excitedly, rushed through the abandoned buildings.

Suddenly, countless large fishing nets fell from the sky, ensnaring the group of evil ghosts directly within them.

Attacks other than those on ghosts cannot harm them, but these ghosts are not ethereal as the legends describe; they have real bodies, and unless specially gifted, they do not have the ability to phase through walls. Therefore, these fishing nets were also effective.

Shortly after, ghostly figures began to flash from the windows of surrounding buildings, leaping down with ropes in hand. Several dozens of them, ard with ghost-level nail guns or bows and arrows, infused with ghostly energy, began to fire at the Fierce-level mbers trapped in the nets.

The remaining mbers of the Fierce Ghost Association were ard with sharpened steel pipes, channeling their ghostly energy to kill one mber of the Evil Ghost Association after another.

The chosen ones responsible for this task were a group of fishern and hunters.

...

Elsewhere, a group of the Evil Ghost Association’s mbers were walking on the road when the ground suddenly collapsed. Thousands of evil ghosts fell into the prepared trap.

The massive pit, ten ters deep, was not easily climbable even with a human pyramid. Nurous Fierce Ghost Association mbers, ard with weapons, stood on the edge of the pit, sneering.

...

From above, the entire battlefield could be seen. Surrounding the Evil Ghost Association’s stronghold, various regions seed to transform into giant beasts. Any group numbering around a thousand or fewer was instantly devoured.

Teams with more than a thousand mbers t no resistance and moved freely. However, aside from a few higher-ups, the lower ranks had no way to communicate with each other.

For ghosts of a lower status, communication devices are very valuable items. Therefore, as they advanced, their groups beca more and more scattered, unaware that countless companions had perished along the way.

The numbers of the entire Evil Ghost Association were rapidly decreasing. It was like a giant cabbage being peeled away, layer by layer.

Of course, there were powerful teams within the Evil Ghost Association. They moved cohesively, never scattering. After all, as a longstanding association, they had so skilled and clever ghosts.

Now it was Alexander’s turn to act.

The roaring sound of motorcycles rang out as Alexander mounted Full Moon outside the Fierce Ghost Association’s stronghold. Behind him were motorcycles from the Motorcycle Assembly, all roaring in unison.

The Fierce Ghost Association had more than three thousand Fierce ghosts, one-third of whom were present. Their purpose was to deal with the teams from the Evil Ghost Association that refused to disperse.

"If you won’t scatter yourselves, then I’ll have to break you apart!" Riding Full Moon, Alexander’s blood was boiling. Today, he would finally experience a truly exhilarating battle.

Drawing his long sword, pointing it forward, he shouted, "Brothers, follow and kill!"

As his words fell, the silver motorcycles roared like lightning, charging forward. Behind him, over a thousand people, ard with common ghostly weapons like machetes, steel pipes, and fire axes, revved their motorcycles and followed Alexander, roaring.

"Follow Tommy DeVito! Charge!"

"Tommy DeVito is invincible; kill them!"

"For the Fierce Ghost Association, kill!"
