Shiro's grin widened. "That's aweso!"
"You're surprisingly childish," Voltaris observed, his voice tinged with amusent.
"Hey, I'm fifteen—that's basically an adult!" Shiro shot back, puffing his chest out.
"Whatever you say," Voltaris said, chuckling deeply. "But keep this in mind: to truly wield my power, you'll need to push your body to its absolute limits and beyond. You'll also need the right weapons—and a place to store them."
Shiro waved a hand dismissively. "I've got that covered. I already own a blacksmith shop."
"Really? Who's the blacksmith?" Voltaris asked, tilting his massive head.
"You're looking at him," Shiro said with a smug grin.
Voltaris let out a booming laugh. "You're full of surprises, Shiro. We're going to need to go over everything you can do at so point. But for now—what skills have you mastered so far?"
"Well, basically, I have this skill that lets see my level and other people's levels. I've got another one that helps grow stronger faster… and, uh, I forget the rest."
Voltaris sighed. "Looks like you're waking up. If you ever want to talk, just imagine there."
"Got it. Bye, Voltaris."
"Goodbye, Shiro," Voltaris said as his voice faded.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw Koneko leaning over , her face filled with worry.
"Shiro!" she exclaid before pulling into a tight hug.
"Air!" I gasped, flailing my arms.
She quickly let go, her cheeks flushing red as she turned away.
"Looks like soone missed ," I teased, smirking.

"Ow!" I whined, rubbing my forehead.
"Don't push your luck," Koneko muttered, clearly embarrassed. "Now explain what happened."
"What do you an?" I asked, playing dumb.
"You've been asleep for over an hour," she said firmly, crossing her arms.
"Are you sure?"

"Okay, okay! Sheesh!" I raised my hands in surrender.
I focused for a mont, and suddenly, Voltaris's voice echoed in my mind. "You called?"
Before I could respond, Koneko's eyes widened. "Okay, what the hell is that?"
I felt Voltaris settle on my shoulder in his small form. "I'm the Third Heavenly Dragon, Voltaris—the Lightning Dragon of Chaos," he introduced himself with a tone of pride.
Koneko shot a confused look.
"Alright, so here's the deal," I began, scratching the back of my head. "I have a Sacred Gear, but I didn't know about it until recently. This is Voltaris. He wanted to talk to , so he… uh… made fall asleep."
Koneko blinked, taking a mont to process this. "Okay. Hey, Alucard, no need to get Asia!" she called out.
From another room, Alucard's voice echoed back, "Understood!"
Koneko sighed. "We were about to go get her."
"Where was she?" I asked.
"Taking a shower," Koneko replied flatly.
Curiosity got the better of . "Alright, I have to ask—why do girls take so long in the bathroom?"
"That's sothing you'll only know if you're a girl. And you're not a girl," Koneko said, flicking her tail in annoyance.
Voltaris chuckled. "In all my travels, I've never encountered a stranger being than a female."

"Damn it!" Voltaris yelped.
"Ow!" I winced, holding my forehead.
"Forehead flicks are awful," Voltaris grumbled.
"Welco to my life," I muttered. "I get them daily."
"I'm not surprised," Voltaris said, shaking his tiny head.
Just then, Asia entered the room, looking concerned. "Ah, I heard what happened. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it was just Voltaris," I reassured her.
After a quick explanation to Asia, Alucard appeared in the doorway.
"Ah, I see you're awake," he said, his crimson eyes studying .
"Yep," I replied, giving him a thumbs-up.
Satisfied, they all eventually left, leaving alone in the room. Suddenly, I rembered my rewards for defeating Alucard. Opening my inventory, I saw a list appear before .

Walking to the mirror, I saw that I now had fox ears and a tail, both matching the color of my hair.
I blinked in surprise as I experinted, wiggling the ears and swishing the tail. It was surreal—like they'd always been a part of .
For the next five minutes, I couldn't stop playing with them. Once I finally tore myself away from my reflection, I glanced at my stats. My magic had increased by 500 points.
