With fewer amounts of true energy, Li Ming found comfort in answering so questions that were only suitable for experintation in the early stages. He gathered the true energy that could cleave odd iron back into his Dantian and silently sat in ditation practicing [Sitting Breath thod].
The increase in true energy requires the consumption of Essence Qi. This is a transformation from nothing to sothing. Once true energy appears in the body, once so is consud, it can be replenished through the energy of heaven and earth drawn into the body during breathing.
However, when true energy increases, because it is transforming from nothing to sothing, and purely transford from Essence Qi, the energy of heaven and earth cannot get involved.
Li Ming had reached this conclusion, so even though he had cultivated true energy, he wouldn’t stop his previous cultivation practices. He was determined to continue to strength his Essence Qi, even the capacity of his Essence Qi.
Perhaps as the capacity of Essence Qi continued to increase, the quality of true energy would also continuously improve. This was a positive cycle. However, it was uncertain whether the capacity of Essence Qi could continue to increase after the birth of true energy.
By the morning of the second day of ditative practice, just before the sun rose, he completed the second round of the Zhou Tian cycle. With his mind clear and his ntal power steady, Li Ming opened his eyes contentedly.
After sensing a bit, there were so minute changes in his practice of Essence Qi, even more pure.
"Who knows what extent the amount of true energy will increase to up next."
Li Ming thought to himself. He knew the current pattern of the growth of his true energy, he was just waiting to test it out in practice. He was looking forward to it.
At breakfast, Li Ming ate only mutant beast at to replenish his own energy with this energy-rich food. After breakfast, he began to cultivate the [Eight Section Brocade]as usual.
Both hands propped up towards heaven to regulate the Triple Energizers....
True energy within his body flowed with his movents, spiraling up from his Dantian along his ridians to his fingertips, then falling back again, true energy returning once more.
With a subtle change in his expression, Li Ming continued his cultivation while each of his movents guided the flow of his true energy.
After a round, his body felt transparent, full of warmth.
Eight Section Brocades (Progress slightly advanced 73%)
He glanced at the panel and a smile spread across Li Ming’s face. The proficiency of this round of Eight Section Brocades had increased by three points!
But this increase in proficiency was secondary. The greater change was with Essence Qi!
"Under the support of true energy, without breaking through in practicing the Eight Section Brocades, Essence Qi has further refined and there are subtle signs of increasing."
Feeling the refinent of his Essence Qi comparable to days of training, a smile spread across Li Ming’s face.
"True energy and Essence Qi truly complent each other, the birth of true energy requires perfect Essence Qi, while Essence Qi can also progress faster under the effect of true energy..."
Li Ming’s mind stirred. Without taking a break, he perford the Eight Section Brocades five more tis. When he finally felt tired and slowly stopped, he saw that the proficiency of the Eight Section Brocades had risen to 88%.
"I should break through by tomorrow."
A smile flashed at the corner of his mouth. Li Ming patted his stomach, noticing that so of the mutant beast at he had eaten for breakfast had already been digested. He couldn’t help but narrow his eyes.
"It seems that the acceleration of Essence Qi refinent in exchange for the consumption of food has sped up."
Li Ming’s heart stirred, but he didn’t mind. The increase in digestion speed in exchange for the increase in refining speed of Essence Qi was worth it.
Even if others wanted this exchange, they might not necessarily have the opportunity.
While he was pondering it over, Li Ming did not think further about it but continued to cultivate his [Daoist Tai Chi]quietly.
The thread of true energy in his body seed to be a small fish swimming following his Tai Chi movents, flowing all around his body. Li Ming clearly felt that as his true energy circulated, his body was slowly growing stronger, and the digestion speed of the food in his abdon was also increasing.
Li Ming had always known about the purifying effect of true energy on his body. Over the past few days, with the birth of true energy, his body had also begun to change from the inside out.
Generally speaking, he was becoming much stronger, enhancing all aspects of his ntal and physical energy.
This transformation wasn’t as profound as that brought by skill breakthroughs on the panel but was a subtle and continuous progress.
When he woke up today, Li Ming had felt a noticeable difference in his body. He speculated that this transformational period would continue for a while, but when exactly it would end was unknown.
"Essence Qi is the most fundantal energy in the body, and true energy is refined from all Essence Qi. Even though it’s only a thread, it’s equivalent to the power of all the Essence Qi in the body. When such a power swims around the body, it’s like an energy equal to the body’s full strength circulating. Therefore, when true energy circulates, it naturally leads to the body’s transformation."
All of the body’s Essence Qi is equivalent to a thread of true energy, but that does not an that the place where this thread of true energy moves has the strength equivalent to the whole body.
So, with the flow of true energy, the body will continue to transform and strengthen to adapt to the environnt where true energy exists.
The speed at which he digested food was also related to this.
Li Ming knew this was a good thing, so he did not overthink it. He calmly accepted this change and just continued his Tai Chi practice in silence.
After practicing for the whole morning, [Daoist Tai Chi] proficiency had surprisingly increased by 5%. Li Ming was satisfied. When he ate at noon, he noticed a significant increase in the amount of food, almost three tis the usual amount.
