The host announced the new trading thod in a very formal tone; in the VIP room on the third floor, soone straightened their back and put away their gun.
"Superpower Source Crystals... they must be referring to natural crystals. I can’t believe I can get my hands on even this."
Li Ming’s eyes wandered to the displayed crystal on the platform, his heart couldn’t help but waver, he never thought he would co across such a thing here.

In his fluctuating mood, Li Ming couldn’t help but to reflect on a sentence stated by the host during the introduction: that this level of superpower crystal was useless for Lei Ming.

Li Ming looked at the crystal in the exhibition hall, recalling the crystal he encountered near the fully evolved zombie for the first ti, he found it strange.
It seed... neither this crystal nor the first one created in him any instinctual attraction.
Only the natural crystal, born the last ti all the city’s zombies were on the rampage, evoked an innate thirst in him.
"The first crystal only increased my telekinetic power, but the second one brought about a fundantal transformation in my telekinetic power. Could this be what they call different grades?"
Li Ming had never considered this before, but upon this insight, he imdiately recognized the difference between the two crystals, altering his expression slightly.

Downstairs on the first floor, he bumped into Zhao Sunwu. Zhao Sunwu was brandishing a supernormal tal long knife alloyed with tungsten steel—this knife, in combination with his armor, could indeed provide significant amplification.
However... wouldn’t wearing this armor be like assisting Lei Ming in conducting electricity if they were to fight?
A strange thought flickered in his mind. Shaking his head to disperse it, Li Ming, with a smile, joined Zhao Sunwu. After a brief chat, Zhao Sunwu showed so surprise at the number of superpower cores Li Ming had purchased. However, he didn’t comnt on it, and they each set off for ho.
They soon reached the villa district. Li Ming requested the staff from the trading center to wait outside while he personally retrieved the 500 pounds of mutant beast at they needed. He watched them leave.
By that ti, it was past eleven o’clock. Li Ming, deciding not to practice any further, directly went to bed and turned off the lights.
A quiet and peaceful night ensued.
In the blink of an eye, dawn arrived.
Li Ming rose and continued to practice ’form and intent’ boxing until noon. Not hearing from Zhao i, he shook his head, knowing that she wasn’t coming today. He quietly ate his al, took a nap, and resud practice.
While he was quietly practicing at ho, the villa district had beco restless. Several superpower users strategically moved out of the city to hunt mutant beasts and zombies, competing for resources.
The core area was becoming emptier, and yet Li Ming continued with his steady and imrsive training.
Having understood the difference between those crystals, he was no longer yearning for the crystal on display. If he were to venture out for a hunt, it would be more for stocking up on food instead of imdiate need.
Letting these people pave the way was not a bad idea.
As for himself... he would wait till he has made a breakthrough in the practice of ’form and intent’ boxing.
As such, a day passed in the flurry of superpower users and Li Ming’s calm training.
Co nightfall, after a day of training, Li Ming slowly halted his final training session.

In the quiet city, there were no other people except for the construction workers and vehicles shuttling on the roads around.
Short Monkey, who had been transitioning his n from underground to above ground within a small district for four to five days, stood on the rooftop, constantly observing his surroundings with a telescope.
"It looks like the official forces have really taken over this place?"
Watching the constant inflow of vehicles from outside the river bridge, as well as the frequent contacts these few days bringing in various videos and information, Short Monkey finally believed this.
"This is so absurd."
Short Monkey couldn’t help but spit in frustration. "That prick Chen Zhuang probably didn’t even expect his own death, let alone the half-official organization coming over?"
"Right, how could such a deranged lunatic have thought this far ahead?"
Short Monkey shook his head and retracted his telescope. He laughed a little and was secretly pleased that he was alive today due to his decisive actions. He then casually looked around and finally, that feeling of danger everywhere seed to have disappeared.
He went back downstairs and quietly waited for a while. Not long after, the people who claid to be from the[Hope Base City]did indeed arrive and imdiately ca over to introduce and recruit him.
This ti, Short Monkey didn’t refuse. After laughing and agreeing, he received a purple badge. He then led his underlings and his woman to his car and, under the cheerful guidance of those people, headed towards the outside of the river bridge.
Throughout the journey, he saw barbed wire fences pulled up on both sides of the road and various battle posts.
The closer he got to Base City, the stronger its defense. When he reached the outside of the city wall, he was taken aback again.
"They’ve already built such a big city wall so quickly!"
Short Monkey stood outside the city wall and looked around, unable to see the end. He couldn’t help but be moved and felt a little awe. Then he walked inside Base City.
Tianning villa district, Tianan villa district, Tianping villa district, Tianxiang villa district.
Faced with the choices of four villa districts, Short Monkey hesitated for a mont and made his decision.

Inside his villa, Li Ming smiled as he read the note he received.
"I’ve been at ho practicing my skills for four days, and he only just arrived. He’s really cautious."
Smiling, Li Ming couldn’t help but look at the panel in front of him. After several days of hard training, his level of[Form and Intent Boxing]had improved trendously.

The lady, Qingfeng Haowing, who was delivering the ssage, quickly narrated the situation when she saw Li Ming’s expression. Li Ming laughed and nodded. "I see. Good job. Go take a bath, join tonight."
"Alright."
The lady quickly nodded and ran off to bathe with a blush on her face.
Li Ming, however, got up and returned to the stone room. With a shake of his fists, his muscles rolled and imdiately caused a howling sound.
