The two people and two beasts slowly advanced through this mountain forest, while Bai Xue, who was sent by Wu Ke to gather information, had already quietly flown into a valley, carefully choosing a hidden spot to land. Upon mutation, a beast’s intelligence might increase sowhat, but compared to humans, it remains much simpler. They may not understand how humans refer to superpower users and Ordinary People, but they know how to bully the weak! It is a hunting instinct passed down through their bloodline!
These mutant beasts were currently discussing how to breach the Safe Zone to hunt, yet despite being among the stronger and more intelligent ones gathered here, they couldn’t escape the nature of beasts. Their intelligence was only relative to other mutant or ordinary beasts, certainly not capable of human-like complex calculations or weighing pros and cons.
So, after a short deliberation, they began to quarrel loudly over a disagreent, and so even started fighting. None of them noticed the snow-white pigeon perched above them, watching the entire scene unfold.
Wu Ke’s superpower was quite special, allowing her not only to communicate with animals without barriers but also to develop a miraculous skill that could establish a short-term connection with a contracted beast at a certain cost. So, whatever Bai Xue saw at this mont, she could see as well.
However, due to her low level, the duration of this skill was extrely short. Wu Ke had only used it for a little while before her face started to turn pale, and even her heart seed to be beating under overload, abnormally. In the Artifact Room, there was a special wall where, once the formation on it was activated, it could turn into a large display screen showing the outside situation in high definition. Bai Qianqian stayed there to be able to see outside. As the owner of the Qingmu Spiritual Mansion, Fang Yuxin could see every corner of the Spirit Mansion if she wished.
