Both large feline creatures had thick paw pads, allowing them to move through the snow silently. Riding on their backs, Fang Yuxin and Wu Ke remained constantly vigilant of their surroundings. Wu Ke was not fully aware of Fang Yuxin’s true strength, but as she followed Fang Yuxin through the snow-clad forest, all she could see was a vast expanse of white, with snow-laden branches, so frozen into icicles.
At first glance, this place seed like a veritable paradise, but both Wu Ke and Fang Yuxin knew that this fairy tale-like forest concealed many dangers. The trees seed to be frozen by the snow, but it could all be a façade, and relaxing their guard might turn them into prey!
Aside from the potential danger of mutant plants, mutant animals were equally a threat to be wary of.
Not only were Fang Yuxin and Wu Ke aware of this, but Angela and Northeast, driven by animal instincts, were even more vigilant about this seemingly beautiful forest, their bodies almost perpetually poised in optimal positions for dodging or attacking.
