The alarm sounded several tis, followed by everyone’s wrist communicators going off, and announcents also ca through the loudspeakers on the streets. Everyone instinctively looked down at their wrist communicators, including Fang Yuxin. The communicators were ringing because they had received a ssage; it was an announcent stating that high-level zombies had infiltrated the base, and everyone should return ho, lock their doors and windows, and not co out.
The loudspeakers on the streets broadcasted a similar ssage. The content conveyed the sa instruction to everyone—to return ho, lock the doors and windows, and not to go outside.

Although high-level zombies were no longer afraid of bullets, and regular bullets inflicted only limited damage, humans were different. Vital areas on a human body are abundant, and even superpower users could not escape vulnerability. Shot in a critical spot ant certain death, while a bullet wound to the limbs would result in a temporary loss of combat capability!
Thus, despite the fact that firearms were rarely used against zombies, they still held a powerful deterrent effect on humans. However, the mbers of the Qiankun rcenary Group had guns, and so did the White Wolf rcenary Corps!
Both sides pointed their dark muzzles at each other.
