Warm liquid gushed beneath her making her eyes widened in horror as she realized that the bed was soaked.

Her water had broken.

"No... no, no, no!" she panicked, her hands trembling as she pressed them against her stomach. "This isn’t happening. I’m not going into labor...."

Ding!

{Yes, you are, Host. Only by giving birth can you properly train and increase your combat efficiency.}

Ivy let out a strained, disbelieving laugh that bordered on hysteria.

"You’re seriously putting into labor just to improve my combat rate?!" she snapped, her voice shaking as she tried to regulate her breathing. "It’s not even ti yet! You’re trying to make give birth to a premature baby!"

Ding!

{The tiline in this world differs from your previous life, Host. The baby is fully developed and will be born healthy.}

"Fuck...!" Ivy cursed under her breath, her fingers clutching the sheets tightly as another contraction hit. "But I’m not prepared! I planned to give birth on my own, yes but not today. I’ve been tracking the date, and this isn’t it. I didn’t prepare anything!"

{You underestimate your enhanced physique, Host. Additionally, I have prepared everything necessary for delivery.}

Before she could respond....

A circular pool materialized at the center of the room, filled with gently steaming, warm water. Soft light reflected off its surface, making it look almost surreal.

At the sa ti, the table beside her was now neatly arranged with baby clothes, soft shawls, clean towels, sterilized cutting tools, and small bottles of oil.

Everything was... perfectly prepared.

Ding!

{Enter the water, Host. The warmth will help relax your muscles and ease the labor process. When instructed, push.}

Ivy stared at the setup for a split second, her mind racing.

Then another contraction slamd into her.

"Ahh....shit!"

Gritting her teeth, she forced herself off the bed. Her legs trembled slightly, but her enhanced strength kept her steady as she staggered toward the pool.

"Fuck this..." she muttered under her breath.

With shaking hands, she stripped off her clothes and carefully stepped into the warm water.

The mont her body subrged, she let out a shaky breath.

It helped... just a little, easing the tension in her muscle but still, the pain didn’t stop.

"Ahh....!"

She clutched her stomach, her breathing growing heavier.

In... out... in... out...

She tried to rember what she knew.

"Okay... okay..." she whispered to herself. "Breathe through it. Don’t panic. Let the contraction pass..."

Her body tightened again as another wave hit her. Stronger and longer this ti.

"Ahhh!"

Her fingers gripped the edge of the pool as her body instinctively bore down as a thought crossed her mind.

My daughters...

"They have no idea..." she gasped, her voice trembling. "They’re just going to wake up tomorrow and suddenly have a baby sister?"

The absurdity of it almost made her laugh...if it didn’t hurt so much.

Ding!

{You are progressing well, Host. Your cervix is fully dilated. Prepare to push.}

Ivy’s eyes widened slightly, her heart pounding.

"This is really happening..."

{Yes, Host. When the next contraction begins....push with it. Use your core strength.}

Another contraction surged through her.

"Ahhhh!"

"Now, Host. Push."

"I...ahh....!"

She bore down, her entire body straining as she pushed with everything she had.

But nothing.

The pressure built... then faded.

"It didn’t work!" she cried out, frustration and fear mixing with pain. "It hurts....it hurts so much!"

{Do not panic. That was your first effective push. The baby is descending. You are doing well.}

Tears gathered in her eyes as she shook her head.

"I don’t feel like I’m doing well....ahhh!"

Another contraction hit harder than the last.

{Push, Host.}

"I am!"

Her hands clenched tightly as she pushed again, harder this ti, her body instinctively following through.

"Ahhhhh!"

"I can feel....!" she gasped suddenly, her voice trembling with shock. "I can feel the head!"

Her entire body froze for a split second as fear, pain, disbelief and a little bit of hope clouded her mind.

“Ahhhhh!”

Her hand instinctively moved down, bracing herself as she bore down harder than before. Her entire body trembled under the pressure, her breathing ragged and uneven.

“Just co on...!” she gasped.

Soon, she felt it.

“I...I’ve got it....!”

Her hand moved quickly, trembling as she reached down and just like that, she felt the baby’s head fully erge into her palm.

“Oh my God...!”

{Do not stop, Host. Support the head. With the next contraction, push gently to deliver the shoulders.}

Another contraction hit almost imdiately.

“Ahhh...!”

She pushed again, this ti more controlled, following the system’s instructions. She supported the baby’s head carefully, guiding it as one shoulder slipped out... then the other.

In one smooth, surreal mont, the baby slid free into her hands.

Everything seed to pause as the pain, tension and fear were gone...replaced by sothing overwhelming which is life.

Just as the baby was fully delivered, another sensation followed, less intense but still strange.

{The placenta is detaching. Allow your body to expel it naturally.}

A few seconds later, with a soft release, the placenta followed.

And then....

“Wahhh...! Wahhh....!”
