Chapter 46: Bringing Back a Woman
After Alex finished speaking, he instructed Isaac and the others to leave.
They could only comply.
However, Isaac was quite uneasy before leaving.
“Mr. Alex, please don’t harm Emma these days. She’s still young…”
Alex naturally sensed the implication behind Isaac’s words.
He’s treating like a dirty old man!
Alex calmly said, “Mr. Isaac, you worry too much. I believe you’ve seen the videos. I’m not so sleazy pervert. I have my principles, and you can rest assured that your daughter will be returned unhard.”
It occurred to Isaac that the person in the video, 10086, was also a young individual. And he appeared righteous, not like a despicable opportunist.
Feeling ashad, Isaac said, “Mr. Alex, forgive my overconcern. I’ll take my leave now.”
Isaac turned and left.
After a few steps, he couldn’t help but look back and advise Emma, “Emma, you must behave yourself these days and not anger Mr. Alex. In three days, Dad will co with the antivirus serum to take you ho.”
Emma nodded.

Isaac couldn’t help but sigh.
Then he walked ahead of the team and left first.
Jack also glanced back at Alex and Emma before following Isaac’s lead.
Once Isaac and the others were far away and the drone in the sky couldn’t track them anymore, Alex finally relaxed.
Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around Emma’s waist.
As they got closer, Emma felt Alex’s solid chest against hers, causing her heart to race, though she tried to look annoyed.
“Hey, even though I’m your captive, can you not take advantage of like this?”
Alex chuckled, “I’ll let you go, but you have to open your backpack for . I can’t trust you to stay too far from ; who knows if you’ll try sothing?”
Emma’s face turned slightly red.
Indeed, she did entertain thoughts of escaping.
She didn’t expect Alex to be so vigilant, not giving her any chance.
Emma could only reluctantly grant access to her backpack.
Inside the bag, Alex took whatever he pleased.
He glanced over the items.
There wasn’t much of value, except for the blueprint of a katana.
Alex kept so basic living supplies, like bread and mineral water.
Anything else that could pose a threat to him was taken.
Once he removed potential threats, he untied Emma.
Emma rubbed her wrists and suddenly bolted.
But she was imdiately caught by Alex, who then tightly hugged her.
“Behave yourself, don’t test my patience!”
“As long as you behave, I won’t harm you in the slightest. I’ll even provide you with good food and drinks.”
“But if you act recklessly and get eaten by zombies, or if other survivors catch you and use you as a toy, that’s not my responsibility.”
Alex released her, then walked towards the villa area.
“Let’s go.”
Emma gritted her teeth from behind.
After hesitating for a while, she followed.
Without any weapons on her, she couldn’t get far alone.
“Let’s go.”
When Alex left, he specifically grabbed a car from the garage and put it in his backpack.
Driving back with Emma saved a lot of ti.
Back at the villa area, the barrier walls sensed Alex’s car and automatically opened the gate.
After letting them through, the gate slowly closed.
Inside the villa, Mia heard the noise from outside the barrier walls and the roar of the car engine, realizing that Alex had returned.
Excitedly, she didn’t even bother changing into slippers, rushing out to greet Alex in the yard.
But the scene before her left her perplexed.
Alex had returned, but with a woman.
The woman stepped out from the passenger seat where she often sat.
Emma was also the first to see Mia, who was equally stunning.
Emma couldn’t help but feel a bit envious of Mia’s voluptuous figure compared to her own slender one. She said sourly, “Well, well, looks like the tiger has found a new treasure.”
Then, she walked straight into the villa, brushing past Mia.
Once inside, she went straight to the fridge, grabbed a chilled Coke, and acted as if she belonged there.
Outside, Mia walked up to Alex, asking eagerly, “Alex, who is she, and why is she here at our house?”
Alex was caught off guard by the question.
He wanted to explain but found it a bit troubleso.
So, he said, “Her na is Emma, and she’ll be staying here for a few days. It’s a bit complicated to explain right now. Could you help her settle into a room later?”
“I’m starving. We’ve been out all day. What did you cook for dinner? Let’s go inside and eat.”
Mia, who was being held by Alex, forced a smile and walked into the villa with him.
Later that night, after Mia had showered and ca out of the bathroom, she climbed onto the bed and approached Alex.
Alex was originally examining the materials for the katana blueprint but was interrupted.
He wanted to tell Mia to stop bothering him, but before he could speak, his mouth was covered.
Alex was left puzzled.
Then he decided not to dwell on it.
“Tonight, you brought this upon yourself. Let’s see how I deal with you!”
Another battle ensued!
Emma was locked in her room, unable to sleep.
She sat up restlessly, her face flushed with embarrassnt, muttering, “Shaless! Shaless! So shaless!”
“Ah, I want to sleep!”

Alex was curious why Mia, who was usually sowhat traditional and conservative, had behaved so unusually on this ordinary night.
“Mia, is today a special day? Why, uh, why do you seem a bit, a bit playful tonight…”
Mia lted against Alex, strands of her hair damp with sweat covering her eyes. She gently brushed them aside.
“Do you like it?”

Mia felt embarrassed.

Alex raised an eyebrow, pretending to be upset.
“Don’t be coy. I might get angry. I don’t want us to hide anything from each other.”
Mia hurriedly said, “Alex, don’t be angry. I didn’t an to hide anything from you. I just felt a bit embarrassed.”
“What’s there to be embarrassed about between us? Tell .”
Mia remained silent for a mont before asking earnestly, “Alex, who is that Emma?”
