Lewis and the other two looked as if they had seen a ghost.

At this mont, Alex was seething with rage, his eyes bloodshot.

Alex’s voice was icy.

He couldn’t wait any longer; he needed to tear those three apart!
If there had been any chance of reconciliation before, it was now clear that it was a matter of life and death.
