Inside the BOSS room.
"They are attacking!"
The twins holding assault rifles shouted, and imdiately dodged to the side.
The monster’s tentacle struck empty air, and at point-blank range they fired at the tentacle, tearing apart its flesh.
"This tactic works!"
As if prearranged, the others imdiately followed suit.
Except for Lin Yi, of course.
He extended his left arm, the one that was severed, and a chainsaw popped out of the device.
He charged at one of the tentacles, like a sculptor cutting ice, slicing it into two pieces.
Then he rolled under the tentacle, lying on his side, and cut off a six-ter long tentacle.
The monster roared, and the entire building shook in response.
"Ahhh!"
The twin holding the machete yelled as the tremors caused him to lose his balance, allowing a tentacle to seize him and start squeezing.
He frantically hacked at the tentacle, but it only tightened its grip, coiling around him more securely. The claws dug deep into his flesh, tearing his skin, causing even more severe damage.
"Brother!" The other twin shouted, rushing to help his sibling by cutting off the tentacle.
"I’m still alive!?"
The freed individual exclaid, despite his body being covered in horrific wounds.
He popped so sort of pill into his mouth, and two seconds later, the bleeding stopped, the wounds began to sizzle, and then gradually healed.
The battle raged on.
Everyone knew Lin Yi was the strongest, and they subconsciously began to assist him.
Lin Yi had already dealt with three tentacles.
Tatiana’s shotgun, which could freeze the tentacle’s flesh, also proved helpful.
Another frenzied roar echoed, shaking the building once more, this ti more violently.
Cracks began to form on the ground, and not long after, the master of the tentacles finally appeared.
The monster, covered in thick layers of fat, had no mouth full of fangs but instead had eight tentacles that moved in harmony.

The tentacles also suffered so damage, but this only made the monster angrier.
It added another tentacle to the attack, assaulting the one-ard man with a total of five tentacles.
The remaining three tentacles turned their attention to the weaker humans.

He shouted as he hurled the axe into the monster’s mouth, and the girl instantly understood his intent.
She began using her shotgun to continuously freeze the enemy, which quickly exhausted her remaining endurance.
This was now a race against ti!
They had to hold on until the poison killed the monster; if Lin Yi died first, the poison would fail, and the monster could very well survive...
anwhile, Lin Yi was swiftly exhausting his physical strength due to the axe’s effect, despite his high endurance.
"Please, help us! I beg you!"
One of the twins shouted, his body covered in wounds, but his brother’s situation was worse.
A tentacle coiled around him like a snake, rendering him invisible, with only his desperate cries audible.
Ten seconds later, this guy was crushed to mush.
His brother continued to shoot, but he could barely dodge the other tentacles’ attacks, let alone save his twin brother...
Now that one of the twins was dead, the tentacle that crushed him moved on to attack the surviving brother, and then...

The monster roared, and all the tentacles imdiately lunged at Lin Yi with a vicious thrust.

At this mont, the two attacking tentacles beca limp, turning blue, then fell to the ground.
From the start of the battle, Lin Yi had grazed them with the axe, but due to the monster’s high endurance, it withstood the poison’s effects for a long ti.
"Ga over." Lin Yi, still evading the flailing tentacles, started smiling.
As seconds ticked by, despite his waning strength, he remained composed and at ease.
While the monster grew increasingly weaker...
Thirty seconds later, all the tentacles were twitching on the ground.
The monster continued to roar, but now its entire body turned blue, its teeth fell out, and its wounds oozed pus instead of blood.
