"Marriage?!" Clovis and the girls widened their eyes. They certainly didn’t expect Aisha and Gerald to suddenly co here and ntion their marriage.
They had heard that their families were discussing it, but this was the first ti they heard the marriage had been decided.
Clovis tilted his head in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
Aisha explained, "You heard correctly. We have talked about marriages with other families and set up a date. Right now, we have reached an agreent to hold your engagent party twelve months from now."
"I want to believe you are a responsible man, which is why you are going to the engagent party. Approximately one year later, you are going to get married." Gerald nodded.
"We heard that you have a few won out there who are quite close, but not too close. Deal with it before or after the engagent party. Just make sure everything is dealt with before the wedding."
Clovis was speechless. At the sa ti, he couldn’t exactly deny it.
For example, there were few people he didn’t mind marrying right away, such as Kanaria, lody, Luci, Hana, and Christina. However, he also had soone like Vina. He had already gotten quite close to her, but not to the point of an engagent.
He wondered if this was the right thing to do. On the one hand, he felt like he had married several of them, but there were a few people whom he had ambiguous relationships with. At the very least, nothing was clear from the dream he had.
It was especially true for Mara, who was willing to give him her unique ability. There was no way she was willing to do it unless they were extrely close. At the sa ti, it was vague because he considered desperation. What if she did it just to survive?
Nevertheless, he couldn’t help but wonder. This world might be a simulation, but the people he t here felt so alive. If he denied this world, he would be denying everyone.
He was happy when they accepted him, so it would be unfair to them if he denied them.
Still, there were two years left, so he thought he could handle it. Besides, he would still try to make it fair. If it were ant to be, it would happen sooner or later. He could just hold another wedding for that, so it might not really matter.
Two years was a long ti. So many things could happen by then, such as him reaching Tier 8.
Besides, when Clovis turned around, he could see the expectation in Kanaria’s eyes. It looked like lody, Luci, and Christina were having the sa expectation.
Clovis took a deep breath before smiling. "Shall we?"
When they heard his words, the girls’ eyes lit up.
With a big smile on her face, Kanaria answered. "Yes!"
"I’d love to." lody nodded gracefully.
"Of course!" Luci pumped her fist.
"Took you long enough." Christina crossed her arms.
"We will take care of the rest so you kids can handle your own matters." Aisha winked playfully. "Do you want to ask the other girls?"
Clovis shook his head. "I will ask them myself."
"Very well. For the ti being, the Renvolt family has agreed with the engagent and is willing to follow the arrangent. We are placing this two-year deadline to give you so freedom while also making sure that it happens. Delaying it for too long might cause it to fail, so I don’t want to wait that long."
"My family has? Well, I don’t have a problem with the arrangent." Kanaria nodded.
"The Elseingarde family is the one proposing everything, so I guess you don’t have any problem with this arrangent, Christina?"
"Yes, Ma’am!" Christina nodded furiously.
"I have told Dante about it, but he said that he wants you to be happy and will support your decision as your younger brother."
"I don’t have a problem with the arrangent."
"Lastly..." Aisha turned to Luci. "I have talked to the professor. Your adoptive father wants just one thing. Co ho and talk to him about it, but generally, he has already accepted your marriage. He just wants you to say it directly to him."
"Yes. I will return tomorrow." Luci nodded furiously. They had no more schedule, so she thought it would be fine if she visited her father.
Aisha nodded. "Well, the person in question is not here, but I’ve also discussed it with Jeremy Skylark for Hana. I believe he has told her about it, so just make sure you discuss it again with her. Understood?"
"Yes." Clovis acknowledged the instruction.
"In that case, I have told you everything. Let’s go, girls. Follow upstairs!" Aisha pointed up.
They were startled, wondering what they were going to do.
Aisha sighed and said, "Have you fought so many beasts that you’ve beco a bit slow about this? I need your asurents for the dress."
"Ohh!" They looked at each other and hurriedly ran to Aisha.
Gerald awkwardly looked at Clovis and patted his shoulder. "Anyway, good luck. You have more responsibilities now. Don’t make them regret their choices. Understood?"
"Yes, Dad. I will make them happy."
"Okay. I shouldn’t be here any longer, especially with your friends here..." Gerald walked away, waiting for Aisha outside.
"Congratulations!" Jay was the first one to approach Clovis.
"Thank you. When are you going to propose to the twins? I heard you already confessed to them." Clovis smirked.
"This isn’t about ." Jay rolled his eyes.
"Congratulations!" Ragna was sincerely happy for Clovis. He had promised to beco a shield for him and his family in the past, so this ti, it was finally official.
Rin also ca to congratulate him, but she felt slightly lonely. On the other hand, Angelia was sincerely happy for him.
She planned to reach Tier 9 or at least be strong enough to fight them, so before she reached that goal, she wouldn’t even think about anyone.
"Congrats!" Erwin and Aileen waved their hands.
"Thank you." Clovis smiled, almost chuckling because he saw Aileen tugging Erwin’s waist as if asking Erwin the sa thing, "Co on, do sothing."
