"Stop staring at my boobs like that. You look like a pervert," the woman said, crossing her arms with a dissatisfied expression.
"A-Ah! I—I'm sorry! It was unintentional!" Lenji stamred, his face heating up as he realized he had indeed been staring. The embarrassnt hit him like a wave, and he quickly looked away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Whatever." She waved him off nonchalantly. "I've had custors look at in much worse ways. Or... are you actually thinking about doing dirty things with ?" she added, narrowing her eyes in mock suspicion.
Lenji panicked. "No! No! I swear, it wasn't like that!" He bowed his head in a desperate apology.
"Pfft! Hahaha!" The woman suddenly burst into laughter, holding her stomach. "Relax, I was just ssing with you! No need to be so serious."
Lenji exhaled sharply, wiping imaginary sweat off his forehead. "You scared for a second there..."
"This is the kind of place where we joke around with custors, so don't take things too seriously," she said, her smile relaxing. "If I offended you, though, my bad
" Nah, that's okay, I totally understand. But next ti how about you give a heads up before you joke with like that. It felt as of my heart was going to burst from embarrassnt," Kenji said with a slight smile, but his body was still a bit shaken at his vulgee act. How could he have done such a thing, though, she was really beautiful.
" Anyways sir, how may I help you today, and by that I an what kind of clothes would you like to buy?" She said, leaving the fun part to the business part. She even wore a poker face. She was really ready for business.
Kenji thought about what kind if clothes he would like, but then he decided to settle on so average clothes. He wouldn't want to gain any kind of popularifrom others if he wore one of those expensive clothes," just bring so regular clothing, I think I'll be good with just that," he answered.
" Well, alright sir, please follow ," she said, as she directed him to a waiting room where he would need to wait for her to bring him the selected types of clothing.
Kenji sat on the soft chair and calmly awaited for the return of the lady.
***[ Three minutes later]***
" Hahaha, you don't have to be modest, the way you chopped off the head of that wild winged boar was incredible!"
Two n suddenly walked into the waiting room accompanied by one of the staffs. She directed them to their seats and left imnediately after getting the information about what kind of clothing that they need.
Once she left, Kenji examined the two curiously. They were both wearing regular clothes with so pieces of armour on them. But their waist were swords, and Keji was imdiately srized.
This was his first ti seeing a sword, minus the one he had seen with Haru.
The two looked like strong warriors. But then a thought flashed in his head. He suddenly recalled that he had read a fantasy book before, though it was trash and he dropped it imdiately, he rembered that there were a specific kind of people that have jobs called adventurers. These two in front of him seem to be the perfect description for the word.
" I wonder how people beco adventurers," he hadn't read much books in his life, and fantasy was the least that he had read. Due to this, he didn't know that there were actually adventurer guilds wherever there are adventurers.
This whole fantasy life was still all a mystery to him, unlike the rest of his colleague who had enough ti to read fantasy books, and so have a certain level of understanding of this world than him.
" Whatever n. Anyways, did you hear, master Fubara is taking in disciples today," one if them said.
" What, really? That's incredible! That old master spirit chef is now taking in disciples. If I knew a damn about cooking, I would definitely be going for that disciple trial!" The other one said with a bit of fanatism in his eyes.
" I know right. The fact that master Fubara is a spirit chef isn't just amazing, but legendary! That man has cooked als that have helped people break through their strength limit. And even the king has eaten his al before and his strength was increased drastically! If only I knew how he made such dishes, I might even be able to defeat a fairy in hand to hand combat!" The first one said with excitent overlapping his voice.
They continued to talk about the so called Master Fubara for a while till thier attendant brought them their clothes and they left.
A bright glow shimred in Kenji's eyes, as he knew the next thing he was going to do in this new world. He was going to cook!
Yes cook. Ever since he was born, Kenji had always had a passion for cooking, but every single ti his parents would divert him away from his dream, saying that cooking was a waste of his ti and energy. And that was how he ended up in his monster company. It was all because his parents had been the one steering the wheel of his life.
But now Kneji could change that. His parents weren't here, aning he could do whatever he wanted, and that inadvertently ant that he could now follow his dreams of being a master chef.
And this master Fubara could help him in that dream! Now all he had to do was find a way to get to the disciple trial and win the trial.
But first, he had to deal with sothing, paying for his clothes and getting out of here.
