As she opened her eyes, she imdiately jumped into the air and attacked Kenji with a swift punch.

"Ah!" Kenji exclaid, as he realized that he had just been hit right in the nose!

"Children, get behind !" the lady said, looking at Kenji nacingly. But when she realized that the kids were just staring at her, as if she had said the strangest words, she understood sothing was off.

"I said get behind and let deal with this man!" she said once more, this ti with a stricter expression.

"Why would they get behind you when you just hit their father?!" Kenji said, bearing through the pain in his nose.

"Wha—" The lady suddenly had a strange expression on her face as she heard Kenji’s words. "Their father? You an that they’re your children?" she asked, her gaze inquisitive.

"Yes, their father! I an, I had just helped you, and you repay with a punch?!" Kenji said, a vein bulging at the side of his head.

Hearing his words, her eyes imdiately turned cold. "If you’re their father, then doesn’t that an that you left them here? When they were about to be raped by those disgusting humans?" she said, a bit of anger and fierceness in her voice.

"Wait, rape? You an they were about to rape my babies?!" Kenji was shocked to the core by this revelation. If he had known about this sooner, he wouldn’t have cared; he would have torn off the heads of those people!

"Yes, ra—" Before she could finish her sentence, she fell back to the ground weakly.

As she was about to hit the ground, Kenji’s firm, masculine hands caught her in ti. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot that the pill was still active in you," Kenji said as he scratched his head.

"You an the Chaos Bind Pill is still in ?" she asked weakly, her eyes fluttering, as if she were about to fall asleep.

Kenji nodded at her words, and imdiately, a wave of dread crossed through her body, making her even weaker. "So this is the end. This is how my bloodline and race will end? Ha! I thought I would be the one to continue this... I thought I could," she said, depressed by the revelation of her impending death.

"Well, I could cure you,"

Kenji’s words were like a bolt of lightning to her. Did he just say that he could cure her? He could save her from the effects of the Chaos Bind Pill?

"Really? You have a Somber Willow herb with you?!" she asked, her voice holding on to a strand of hope.

"Well, no. I don’t even know what a Somber Willow herb is," Kenji said, scratching his head again.

Imdiately, her last strand of hope was cut off. The only thing she knew that could cure her from the effects of the Chaos Bind Pill was a Somber Willow herb. And if he didn’t have any of that, then her fate had already been set in stone.

She was going to et death today.

"Although I don’t have that, hmm, Somber Willow herb, I still have another way of curing you, and this way is guaranteed," Kenji said with confidence laced in his voice.

"You an you can cure without using the Somber Willow herb? How?! Just tell what to do, and I’ll do it," she said, hope reinstigating itself in her heart.

"That might be a bit difficult," Kenji said with a raised eyebrow. "Are you sure you’re willing to do anything to cure yourself?" Kenji asked, a wave of seriousness cloaking his face.

"Yes! Cough! I’ll do... anything," she said, her voice becoming weaker by the second.

"We don’t have much ti left," he said in an alard tone. "We have to do it now; we have to begin the taming sequence."

Imdiately, his sentence went through her ears, another wave of shock, just like lightning striking her rushed through her body. "T—taming sequence? As in you’re going to make your contracted beast?" she asked for confirmation.

"That’s the only way to help you. I have a special ability. If I permanently ta a beast, then that said beast would have all of her illnesses and ailnts cured, no matter what her condition is at that mont," Kenji said solemnly.

Hearing his words, her eyes brightened up, like a dying fla being poured fuel to ignite!

"Then let’s do it! What are you waiting for?!" she asked, her voice showing enthusiasm for the process.

Kenji was surprised by her enthusiasm. "Why do you seem so excited? I thought beasts like you were really proud and wouldn’t even let themselves be touched by a tar, not to ntion actually being tad?" Kenji said, a bit confused by the turn of events.

Hearing his words, she shook her head. "It’s not like that. I had already sworn my life to whosoever cos to save . So no matter what now, I have no choice. It’s better to feel happy about the situation than to be sad and moody about it. Besides, if I don’t do this, then I’m truly dood," she said, explaining the reason for her enthusiasm.

With a soft smile, Kenji got up. "Alright then, let’s do this!"

"Adults are weird, brother Leo. One minute, they look really sad, and the next, they seem excited," Pheia said, a bit confused.

"I know, right? That’s why I never want to grow up because I’ll be weird just like them, and besides, I won’t be able to stay next to Kenji-sama anymore," Leo said in response.

"What? When we grow up, we will have to leave Kenji-sama?!" Leia said, alard by the revelation.

"Didn’t you know? When we grow up, we would have to go away from Kenji-sama and go do adult things sowhere far away," Pheia said, as if stating the obvious.

"What?! I don’t want to stay away from Kenji-sama! I’m never going to grow up!" Leia said, her mind fully resolute.

"Yeah! We’ll never grow up!" Leo and Pheia said simultaneously, their minds resolute about the topic.

But unbeknownst to them, growing up isn’t a choice they can make. They still have to leave their tiny, cute bodies and beco strong warriors!

Kenji knelt before the Cloud Moon Fox, his hand hovering over her delicate form as the final stage of the taming contract lood. In his palm, a faint, glowing sigil began to swirl—an intricate mix of golden and silver light, pulsating as though alive.

"By the bonds of fate and the will of my soul," Kenji murmured, his voice steady yet resonant, echoing with power. With each word, the magic in his palm grew brighter, sending ripples of energy into the air.

Suddenly, a large, radiant magic circle materialized beneath them, its intricate runes shimring with hues of gold, silver, and a faint blush of pink, representing the Fox’s legendary bloodline. The circle expanded outward, marking the entire area with a glowing boundary. The runes began to move—rotating, intertwining—forming a srizing dance of light.

As the circle took shape, a second, smaller magic circle appeared above the Cloud Moon Fox, directly mirroring the one below. Both circles began spinning, faster and faster, drawing streams of ethereal energy from their surroundings into their cores. The air crackled with an electrifying hum, and small particles of light floated upward like fireflies.

Kenji closed his eyes, his voice growing louder as he chanted, each word infused with intent and resolve.

"By my essence, I vow to protect and cherish; by your will, our destinies entwine. Speak your na, and let our bond be forged!"

The mont his final word left his lips, the energy between the two magic circles surged.

With her breath heavy, she spoke her na, "Haruka."

Imdiately, streams of light connected the top and bottom circles, creating an intricate three-dinsional web of glowing threads. The threads wrapped around the Cloud Moon Fox, binding her gently yet firmly in radiant bands of light.

The Fox’s eyes flickered open, glowing with the sa hue as the magic. She let out a soft growl, almost lodic, as her energy synchronized with Kenji’s. A final surge of power cascaded through the area, and the light from the circles converged into a single point—Kenji’s palm. The symbol on his hand burned brightly before imprinting itself onto the Fox’s forehead, marking the completion of the contract.

The glow faded, leaving a serene stillness in its wake. The magic circles disappeared, and the mark on Kenji’s hand now shone faintly before fading into a subtle outline—a permanent reminder of their bond.

The Cloud Moon Fox stood, her strength fully restored, her eyes eting Kenji’s with newfound loyalty. With a graceful bow of her head, she acknowledged her tar.

"My Master,"
